Verlackung geeigneten Metallverbindungen hergestellt.Process for the preparation of water-insoluble compounds of the phthalocyanine series
Addition to patent 663 oo3 According to the main patent 663 oo3, compounds are insoluble in water
the Phthalocyanin @ series by treating Phthalocyaninsulfonsäuren with for the
Laking suitable metal compounds made.
zweckmäßig in Form ihrer wasserlöslichen Salze an. Zu der Umsetzung sind aliphatische
Amine, insbesondere solche mit längeren Kohlenwasserstoffresten, ferner hydroaromatische,
aromatische und heterocyclische Amine geeignet.According to the first additional patent 664 053, such colored lacquers can be used
also obtained if the metal compounds when laking the - phthalocyaninesulfonic acids
be partially or completely replaced by basic dyes: it was now
found that you can also get such color lakes if you at the
Laking of the phthalocyaninesulfonic acids, the metal compounds or the basic ones
Partially or completely replaced dyes by organic basic compounds,
which are not basic dyes. In this case, too, colored lakes are obtained,
which are good lightfast. The phthalocyanine sulfonic acids are used in this process
expediently in the form of their water-soluble salts. The implementation are aliphatic
Amines, especially those with longer hydrocarbon residues, also hydroaromatic,
aromatic and heterocyclic amines are suitable.

hervorragender Lichtechtheit.Depending on the type of sulfonic acids and amines used, colored lakes are obtained
of different properties. By precipitating weakly sulfonated phthalocyanines
with the organic bases one obtains colored lakes, which are because of their insolubility
or poor solubility can be used as body colors. One falls
in the presence of carriers and / or distributing agents can be used for
these purposes will be beneficial. When precipitating strongly sulfonated Phtbalocyanine with
organic bases are generally obtained in lacquers which are in organic solvents,
z. B. alcohol, butanol, ethylglycol or cyclohexanone, are soluble and are in
excellent for coloring zapon varnishes and organic plastics.

Kunststoffen blaugrüne Färbungen von ausgezeichneter Lichtechtheit.EXAMPLE A solution of 10 parts of the sodium salt of the phthalocyaninesulfonic acid used in Beispie12 in 100 parts of hot water is mixed with a solution of 3 parts of barium chloride in 50 parts of water. A solution of 1 part of dodecylamine, which was dissolved in 10 parts of water with the addition of acetic acid, is then added. A very waterfast colored lacquer is obtained in this way. EXAMPLE 5 100 parts of copper phthalocyanine are treated with 75 parts of 40 percent strength at ordinary temperature for 20 hours s, then heats the mixture for about
llen lengthways; to 90 °, pour it,
amei then on a
Mixture of 500 parts of ice and 500 parts of table salt and sucks off the precipitate. It is then stirred with 20,000 parts of water and 100 parts of dodecyldimethylamine are added to the liquid heated to 80 °. The resulting colored varnish is cleaned by heating it with 2o,000 parts of water to 80 °, vacuuming it off again and drying it. The dark green flour obtained dissolves in nitrocellulose lacquers with a greenish blue color. The solution provides coatings with excellent lightfastness. EXAMPLE 6 A solution of 100 parts of zinc phthalocyanine in 100 parts of 100% oleum is left to stand for 20 hours and then heated to about 50 ° for a further 4 hours, poured into a mixture of 100 parts of ice water and 100 parts of common salt and the resulting product is sucked off Precipitation from. It is then stirred in 20,000 parts of water, the mixture is heated to 80 ° and 150 parts of dicyclohexylamine are added. After vacuuming and drying, you get a dark green flour that dissolves in many organic solvents. In nitrocellulose lacquers and organic plastics, it provides blue-green colorations with excellent lightfastness.
