Description
Manufacture of seamless spring bundles by pressing. The HersteMua b the one to hold the feathers together. of vehicles customary bundles is so far done in various ways. The oldest and most common production method is that of welding together, so that the spring collar: has a welding point, which of course for the duration and durability; the spring bundle is not advantageous. In order to get rid of this problem, one has recently gone over to to produce the spring band from a full workpiece by pressing, which of course is preferable to the welding process because such spring coils do not have any welds ensure an unconditional durability, while this is the case with: the welded pieces naturally this is often not the case. These spring coils produced by pressing but wilder have the disadvantage that their manufacture is difficult and moreover requires costly and time consuming operations.
The invention relates to the production of such .seamless Spring bundles by forging kn. Die and affects a procedure that few Requires work steps and its product is characterized by accuracy and special Durability.
The invention consists in -that from a full work block a molding is pre-cut, which does not already have the shape of the spring bundles as usual, but one that is favorable for the forging process besendera and tapering towards the bottom Has shape, whereby the great advantage is achieved that to diesel molding Any workpiece can be turned and d! ate by simply re-arboring this fitting on .die finished shape of this spring collar is brought. It is so only a forge and! a post-mandrel operation required, whereby Both processes are simple due to the peculiar purpose-oriented form and require fewer intricate devices than the previous methods.
Figs. 2 and 3 show the pre-forged piece in a plan view on the long side, on the narrow side and from above, Alb. 4, 5 and 6 are a plan view on the post-shaped piece on the long side, on the narrow side and from -above.
Die unteren Kanten der Ränder e, f, g und: h begrenzen einen bedeutend engeren Durch.laß als die oberen Kanten.ZALn'h forging the spring bundle can do anything; corresponding full workpiece can be taken, namely the joint is shaped so that the upper edge, as shown in Fig. r, has the approximate width of the desired spring collar, i.e. the dimensions between the upper edges, a, b, c and d send the correct dimensions of the finished workpiece. The Gesenikk is now not designed in the width of the upper edges a, b, c and d downwards, but the walls taper downwards, so both the outer and the inner walls fall inward, so that the production of the joint as well drop forging becomes an advantageous and simple one. The lower edges of the margins e, f, g and: h delimit a significantly narrower passage than the upper edges.
This shaped piece, hollow forged in the die, is then post-punched in the usual way so that the lower edges e, f, g and ha widen and are brought to the same widths as the edges ca, b, c and d . In terms of the design of the die, it is of course provided that the thickness or the walls of the molding increase downwards so that the wall thickness becomes even when it is widened. The shape of the finished spring collar then looks as shown in Fig. 4, 5 and 6, so that, as can be seen from Fig. 4, the width at the lower edges e, f, g and, k is as far as at the upper edges a, b, c and d. Lead diesel work processes also the pin is straightened. This process is not only characterized by a simplified work process and ease of manufacture, but also offers the possibility of using solid pieces of any kind. It is also easier to re-thorn and the finished nib in: stone acncssungen more accurate than was the case with the previously customary procedures.
