Die Back- und Bratofen-Muffel nach der Zeichnung umschließt einen Garraum 2, der üblicherweise in mehreren Ebenen bzw. Etagen beschickbar ist. Die Ofenmuffel 1 ist durch eine nicht dargestellte Tür mit Sichtfenster zum Beobachten des Back- und Bratvorganges im Garraum verschließbar. Um die Ofenmuffel 1 ist eine Wärmeisolierung 3 gelegt. In der Seitenwandung 4 bzw. 4′ der Ofenmuffel ist eine längsgestreckte Öffnung vorgesehen, die gegenüber dem Garraum 2 durch eine abnehmbare, strukturierte Glasscheibe 5 abgedeckt ist. Hinter der Glasscheibe 5 ist eine zum Ausleuchten des Garraumes 2 dienende Beleuchtungseinrichtung 6 bzw. 6′ angeordnet. Die Beleuchtungseinrichtung 6, 6′ ist zweckmäßig im vorderen Bereich, d.h. vorzugsweise im vorderen Drittel der Ofenmuffel 1 vorgesehen. Diese Beleuchtungseinrichtung besteht aus einem Reflektorgehäuse 7, einem in diesem angeordneten Leuchtkörper 8 und einem Isoliersockel 9 für den Leuchtkörper. Der Leuchtkörper 8 kann eine Halogenlampe sein. Das Reflektorgehäuse 7 ist an der Außenseite der Muffelwandung 4 angeflanscht und ist im Querschnitt unsymmetrisch ausgebildet. Der Leuchtkörper 8 ist im Reflektorgehäuse 7 derart angeordnet bzw. untergebracht, daß sich von der Beschickungsseite (Einblickseite) der Ofenmuffel her gesehen eine schräg in die Tiefe der Ofenmuffel bzw. des Garraumes 2 gerichtete Hauptstrahlungsrichtung für die Lichtstrahlen ergibt. Durch diese Ausbildung und Anordnung des Reflektorgehäuses 7 ergibt sich eine schräg zur Abdeck-Glasscheibe 5 hin gerichtete Lichtschachtführung und damit eine verstärkte Lichteinstrahlung in die Tiefe des Garraumes 2 und gleichzeitig aber auch eine ausreichende Ausleuchtung in die Breite des Garraumes.   • - das Reflektorgehäuse (7) der Beleuchtungseinrichtung (6) ist im Querschnitt unsymmetrisch ausgebildet,
  • - der Leuchtkörper (8) ist im Reflektorgehäuse (7) derart angeordnet, daß sich von der Beschickungsseite der Ofenmuffel her gesehen eine schräg in die Tiefe der Ofenmuffel (1) gerichtete Lichtstrahlenrichtung ergibt.
