Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Drehgelenkprothese mit einem in einem gabelförmigen Gelenkteil gehaltenen, eine äußere Gleitfläche aufweisenden Bolzen und einer in das andere Gelenkteil eingesetzten Buchse, in der der Bolzen drehbar gelagert ist.
Die heute bekannten Drehgelenkprothesen haben nur eine beschränkte Lebensdauer. Deshalb scheut man sich, diese bei jüngeren Patienten einzusetzen. Die Lebensdauer ist in erster Linie durch Abnützungserscheinungen bedingt. Diese führen dazu, daß die Bewegungsgeometrie zunächst schlechter und schließlich unbrauchbar wird. Auch bereiten die bei der Abnützung anfallenden Abriebstoffe Probleme.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Gelenkprothese der eingangs genannten Gattung zu schaffen, die trotz einfachen Aufbaus eine hohe Lebensdauer aufweist.
Erfindungsgemäß wird dies durch Anwendung der Maßnahmen des Kennzeichens des Anspruchs 1 erreicht.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel ist anhand der Zeichnung beschrieben. In dieser zeigt
Fig. 1 eine Drehgelenkprothese im Schnitt und
Fig. 2 eine Einzelheit in größerem Maßstab.
Die Drehgelenkprothese nach Fig. 1 weist einen gabelförmigen Gelenkteil 1 auf, der in an sich bekannter, nicht dargestellter Weise in einen Knochen eingesetzt wird. Der Gelenkteil 1 trägt mit seinem gabelförmigen Ende einen Bolzen 2. Der Bolzen 2 ist mittels einer Madenschraube 3 gegen Verdrehung gegenüber dem Gelenkteil 1 gesichert. In einen Kopf 4 eines Knochens 5 ist eine Bohrung eingebracht, in der eine Buchse 6 unverdrehbar eingebracht ist. Die Innenfläche der Buchse 6 bildet eine innere Gleitfläche 7, die mit der eine äußeren Gleitfläche 8 bildenden Außenseite des Bolzens 2 zusammenwirkt. In die innere Gleitfläche 7 sind Vertiefungen 9 in Form umlaufender Nuten eingearbeitet. Die Vertiefungen können jedoch auch eine andere Form haben. Sie dienen zur Aufnahme eines Schmiermittelvorrates, mit dem die aneinander anliegenden Teile der Gleitflächen 7 und 8 geschmiert werden. Die Vertiefungen können jedoch auch in der äußeren Gleitfläche 8 angeordnet sein.
In jeder der beiden Stirnseiten der Buchse 6 ist eine Eindrehung vorgesehen, in die je eine Abdichtung 10 aus einem elastischen Material, beispielsweise ein Simmering eingesetzt ist, der ein Austreten des Schmiermittels verhindert.
Die Erfindung ist nicht auf das dargestellte Ausführungsbeispiel beschränkt. So könnte beispielsweise auch der Kopf 4 als künstliches Teil ausgeführt sein.

Claims (3)

1. Drehgelenkprothese mit einem in einem gabelförmigen Gelenkteil gehaltenen, eine äußere Gleitfläche aufweisenden Bolzen und einer in das andere Gelenkteil eingesetzten Buchse, in der der Bolzen drehbar gelagert ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in eine der zusammenwirkenden Gleitflächen (7, 8) Vertiefungen (9) eingearbeitet, die Vertiefungen (9) mit einem Schmiermittel gefüllt und im Bereich der beiden Enden der Buchse (6) Abdichtungen (10) vorgesehen sind.
2. Drehgelenkprothese nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Buchse (6) zum Einsatz in ein Knochen-Gelenkteil bestimmt ist.
3. Drehgelenkprothese nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Bolzen (2) an einem künstlichen, in einen Knochen einsetzbaren, gabelförmigen Gelenkteil (1) befestigt ist.
