Description

  • HÜFTGELENK-ENDOPROTHESE
  • Die Erfindung betrifft eine Hüftgelenk-Endoprothese bestehend aus einem mit einem Schaft verbundenen Gelenkteil.
  • Derzeit verwendete Hüftgelenk-Endoprothesen haben einen Schaftteil in Form einer Stange oder eines Stangenbündels, wobei diese Stangen an beiden Enden miteinander fest verbunden sind. Da es sich um steife Stangen handelt, die in manchen Fällen auch in Querrichtung fest verbunden sind, wird so ein steifes Schaftsystem gebildet, das nicht anpassungsfähig ist.
  • Die der Erfindung zugrunde liegende Aufgabe besteht in der Schaffung einer anpassungsfähigen, isoelastischen Hüftgelenk-Endoprothese.
  • Diese Aufgabe wird ausgehend von der Hüftgelenk-Endoprothese der eingangs genannten Art dadurch gelöst, daß der Schaft der Endoprothese aus wenigstens zwei Längsstäben besteht, zwischen welchen in ihrer oberen Hälfte ein Distanzkern angeordnet ist.
  • Die Längsstäbe können einen gleichen oder veränderlichen Querschnitt sowie gleiche oder ungleiche Länge haben.
  • Die Längsstäbe können vorteilhaft an ihren unteren Enden mit Stabilisationskörpern versehen sein. Der Distanzkern kann mit den Längsstäben fest verbunden und mit Befestigungselementen versehen sein, zum Beispiel mit Erhebungen oder Ausnehmungen.
  • Der Vorteil der erfindungsgemäßen Endoprothese ergibt sich durch den aus einzelnen, miteinander nicht verbundenen Stäben bestehende Schaft, wobei die Stäbe sich wegen ihrer Elastizität an die Form des Markkanals des Femurs anpassen können und eine veränderliche Übertragung der Belastung auf den Femur bei sich ändernden Außenbelastungen ermöglichen. Die miteinander nicht verbundenen Stäbe haben die Möglichkeit, eine optimale Lage in Richtung des Flusses der Hauptspannungen einzunehmen.
  • Anhand einer Zeichnung wird die Erfindung beispielsweise näher erläutert. Es zeigt: Fig. 1 eine Seitenansicht einer isoelastischen Hüftgelenk-Endoprothese, Fig. 2 den Schnitt A - A von Fig. 1 und Fig. 3 den Schnitt B - B von Fig. 1.
  • Die in der Zeichnung dargestellte Hüftgelenk-Endoprothese hat ein Gelenkteil 5 mit dem ein Flansch 4 verbunden ist. Im Flansch 4 sind zwei oder mehr elastische Längsstäbe 1 eingebettet, die einen anpassbaren Schaft bilden. Die Längsstäbe 1 werden in ihrem oberen Teil unterhalb des Flansches 4' mit Hilfe eines Distanzkernes 2 permanent voneinander entfernt gehalten. Die Längsstäbe 1 können gleiche oder ungleiche Länge haben und einen konstanten oder veränderlichen Querschnitt aufweisen. Am freien Ende sind sie durch einen Stabilisationskörper 3 , zum Beispiel in Form eines Tropfens, einer Kugel, eines Ellipsoides oder einer Platte, räumlich erweitert.
  • Die Längsstäbe 1 werden unterhalb des Flansches 4 voneinander durch einen Distanzkern 2 aus Kunststoff, Biokeramik, Metall oder aus einem anderen geeigneten Material ähnlicher Eigenschaften entfernt gehalten. Der Distanzkern 2 ist entweder vollwandig oder verschiedenartig perforiert und ist mit den Längsstäben 1 entweder fest verbunden oder an diese gleitend angegliedert.
  • Der Distanzkern 2 kann I-Profil, T-Profil, kreisförmiges oder rechteckiges Profil haben und kann mit Befestigungsmitteln 6 , zum Beispiel mit Erhebungen oder Öffnungen, versehen sein.

  1. HÜFTGELENK-ENDOPROTHESE Patentansprüche 1. Hüftgelenk-Endoprothese, bestehend aus einem mit einem Schaft verbundenen Gelenkteil, dadurch g e -k e n n z e i c h n e t , daß der Schaft von wenigstens zwei elastischen Stäben (1) gebildet wird, zwischen welchen in ihrem oberen Teil ein Distanzkern (2) vorgesehen ist.
  2. 2. Hüftgelenk-Endoprothese nach Anspruch 1, dadurch g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , daß die Längsstäbe (1) mit dem Distanzkern (2) fest verbunden sind.
  3. 3. Hüftgelenk-Endoprothese nach Anspruch 2, dadurch g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , daß der Distanzkern (2) mit Befestigungselementen (6), wie Erhebungen oder Ausnehmungen, versehen ist.
  4. 4. Hüftgelenk-Endoprothese nach einem der vorgehenden Ansprüche, dadurch g e k e n n z e i c h n e t daß die Längsstäbe (1) einen veränderlichen Querschnitt haben.
  5. 5. H0ftgelenk-Endoprothese nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch g e k e n n z e i c h n e t, daß die Längsstäbe (1) ungleiche Langen haben.
  6. 6. Hüftgelenk-Endoprothese nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch g e k e n n z e i c h n e t, daß die Längsstäbe (1) an ihren unteren Enden mit Stabilisationskörpern (3) versehen sind.
