Abstract

Isoelastische Hüftendoprothese (1), bestehend aus Kugelkopf (2) und damit verbindbarem oder verbundenen Schaft (3) aus Vollmaterial, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Schaft (3) lamellenartig in einzelne Schaftelemente aufgeteilt ist und die Elastizität der einzelnen Schaftelemente gleich oder unterschiedlich ist.

Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft eine isoelastische Hüftendoprothese für den künstlichen Hüftgelenkersatz, bestehend aus Kugelkopf und damit verbindbarem oder verbundenen Schaft aus Vollmaterial.
  • Bei den bisher bekannten Hüftendoprothesen besteht der Schaft aus einer kompakten Form, wobei ein Verwachsen mit dem Knochen durch Löcher oder Einbuchtungen im Schaft erleichtert wird.
  • Darüberhinaus sind Hüftendoprothesen bekannt, bei denen der Schaft aus einem geschlitzten Hohlkörper besteht, vgl. EP 366 604 A1 , DE 39 02 775 C2 .
  • Es hat sich herausgestellt, dass Probleme durch die unterschiedliche Steifigkeit und Festigkeit von Implantat und Knochen auftreten. Dies kann zu unerwünschten Effekten bei der unterschiedlichen Reaktion des Implantates und des Knochens auf Belastungen führen.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine den Steifigkeiten des Knochens angepasste Hüftendoprothese zur Verfügung zu stellen.
  • Die Aufgabe wird entsprechend dem Anspruch 1 gelöst.
  • Die Erfindung wird zweckmäßig weitergebildet, indem die elastischen Eigenschaften des Schaftes durch unterschiedliche Materialien sowie Aufteilung und Stärke der einzelnen Schaftelemente variiert werden können.
  • Eine Prinzipskizze soll nachfolgend die Erfindung einer isoelastischen Endoprothese erläutern.
  • In der 1 als Seitenansicht wird mit 1 die Endoprothese bezeichnet, die mit einem Kugelkopf 2 abschließt.
  • Der Schaft 3 der Endoprothese ist in einzelne, auf die jeweilige Belastung auslegbare Schaftelemente aufgeteilt, wodurch über die Schaftlänge variable Steifigkeit erreicht wird.
  • Das Schaftmaterial könnte aus entsprechend elastischem Material bestehen, z. B. Titan. Die einzelnen Schaftelemente können darüber hinaus in ihrer Elastizität beeinflusst werden durch – von Kopf aus – Dicke (Stärke), unterschiedliche Materialien, die z. B. miteinander verschweißt sind.
  • Eine Draufsicht auf die Endoprothese ist in 2 dargestellt.

Claims (3)

  1. Isoelastische Hüftendoprothese (1), bestehend aus Kugelkopf (2) und damit verbindbarem oder verbundenen Schaft (3) aus Vollmaterial, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Schaft (3) lamellenartig in einzelne Schaftelemente aufgeteilt ist und die Elastizität der einzelnen Schaftelemente gleich oder unterschiedlich ist.
  2. Isoelastische Hüftendoprothese nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die einzelnen Schaftelemente aus gleichem oder unterschiedlichem Material bestehen.
  3. Isoelastische Hüftendoprothese nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Stärke der einzelnen Schaftelemente über die Länge und/oder Breite unterschiedlich ist.
