Description
- Herstellung einer Kaseinmasse. Der Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist ein Verfahren, .um Porzellanersatz für elektrotechnische Isolilergegenstände, Knopffabrikation sowie für andere gewerbliche und Kmnstgegenstände aiuf kaltem Wege herzustellen. Etwa i Teil an der Luft gelöschter Kalk, i Teil Quarzmehl, a Teile Kaolin werden finit etwa i Teil in Wasser gelöstem: Kaseir>Illeim verknetet, wobei die verschiedensten Erdfarben beigemischt werden können. Die Masse wird unter starkem Preßdruck :in Formen: gepreßt. Nach Entnahme Fans -der Form wird diese Masse zunächst in einem Kaltwasserbad' wenige Minuten gewässert. Danach wird die Masse in erwärmtem Zu(stan.d .mit Formalin durchgart. Durch diese Behandlung werd die gewünschte Festigkeit der Malsse sowie die Widerstandsfähigkeit gegen Wasser und Feuer erzielt. Die Masse isoliert elektrisch, kann jeden gewünschten Farbton, z. B. in marmorartigen Mustern, erhalten und ist polierfähiig. Kaseinkunstmassen und mit Kaseinzusntz hergestellte Kunststeine werden als an sich bekannt vorausgesetzt .
Claims (1)
- PATENTANSPRUCH: Herstellung kalt zu verarbeitender Masse als Porzellanersatz für elektrotechnische und andere Zwecke, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß etwa i Teil an der Luft gelöschter Kalk, i Teil Quarzmehl, 2 Teile Kaolin mit etwa i Teil in Wasser gelöstem Kaseinleim verknetet und verpreßt werden. Die Gegenstände können in bekannter Weise mit gasförmigem Formaldehyd gehärtet werden.
