Die Vorrichtung besteht aus einem Rußsammelkasten a, der mit Öffnungen
b ausgerüstet ist und zur Aufnahme des aus Öfen o. dgl. zu entfernenden Rußes dient.
Fig. z zeigt eine Kachel o, die den Reinigungskanal des Ofens abdeckt und zur Herausnahme
von Asche und Ruß mit einer verschließbaren. Öffnung versehen ist. Die Verschraubung
d, e istin bekannter Weise angebracht und dient zum staubdichtenAnsetzen
des Rußsammelkastens. Die Verschlußkapsel f (Fig. 4) ist mit Federn g (Fig. 5) ausgerüstet,
die dieVerschlußkapsel festhalten. Auf einer Seite des Kastens a ist ein Schlauch
h angebracht, der an seinem unteren Ende mit einem nach innen gestülpten Handschuh
i versehen ist. Dieser Handschuh i besitzt einen Ringwulst k, der n ac "h Belieben
abgenommen werden kann. Die Wrkungs-,veise der Neuerung ist folgende: Soll der Ofen
gereinigt werden, so wird die Verschraubung f abgenommen und der Kasten a sowie
der Schlauch h am Kasten a angebracht. Alsdann wird der Handschuh i über die Hand
gezogen, und man greift mit dem Arm durch den Schlauch h und den Kasten a in die
Züge des Ofens. Der Ruß und die Asche werden in den Kasten a durch Herausnehmen
mit der Hand eingebracht. Ist dies geschehen, so- wird der Kasten abgenommen und
die Verschlußkapsel f wieder aufgesetzt. Durch die Anordnung des Hand schuhes i,
der beim Hineingreifen in den Ofen den Schlauch nach innen stülpt, ist ein Beschmutzen
der Hand und des Armes ausgeschlossen. Ist beispielsweise in den Zügen an einer
Stelle Ruß angehäuft und man kann ihn mit dem Besen oder der Hand nicht entfernen,
so wird der Handschuh mit dem umgestülpten Wulst k bis an den. Kasten a geführt
und alsdann schnell bis zum Schlauchende gezogen. Die .entstehendeLuftverdünnung
