Abstract

Bei einem Sitzpolster mit einem textilen Überzug, einer Kaschierschaumschicht auf dem textilen Überzug und einem Kaltschaumkern ist auf der von dem Kaltschaumkern angrenzenden Seite der Kaschierschaumschicht auf dem Kaschierschaum selbst eine Haut gebildet, die ein Eindringen des Kaltschaumes in den Kaschierschaum behindert.

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Sitzpolster mit einem textlien Überzug, einer auf der Hinterseite des textlien Überzugs aufgebrachten Kaschierschaumschicht, einem Kaltschaumkern und einer Zwischenschicht, die unmittelbar in Kontakt mit dem Kaltschaumkern steht.
Bei den bekannten Sitzpolstern dieser Art (siehe bspw. DE-OS 22 27 143, 30 34 973 und 30 09 885) wird zur Ausbildung der Zwischenschicht, die beim Aufschäumen des Kaltschaums ein eine Verhärtung der Kaschierschaumschicht nach sich ziehendes Eindringen in den Kaschierschaum verhindern soll, eine luftundurchlässige Folie verwendet, die durch Flammkaschieren mit der Kaschierschaumschicht verbunden wird. Die Verwendung einer derartigen Folie stellt einen zusätzlichen Kostenfaktor bei der Herstellung des Sitzpolsters dar. Ferner fördert eine luftundurchlässige Folie das Schwitzen der das Sitzpolster benutzenden Person.
Der Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, bei einem Sitzpolster der eingangs genannten Art das Eindringen des aufschäumenden Kaltschaumes in die Kaschierschaumschicht auf eine billigere Weise zu unterbinden und dazu möglichst noch in einer Weise, die einem Schwitzen der das Sitzpolster benutzenden Person entgegensteht.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß die Zwischenschicht als poröse und luftdurchlässige Haut aus der Kaschierschaumschicht durch Beflammen gebildet ist.
Beim Beflammen des Kaltschaums schmilzt die oberste Schicht des Kaschierschaumes und verdichtet sich, wobei diese Schicht aber noch feine Poren aufweist. Im letzteren Falle zieht beim Aufschäumen der Kaltschaum teilweise durch die Poren der Haut hindurch in die Kaschierschaumschicht, aber — innerhalb der Erstarrungszeit des Kaltschaumes — nicht so extensiv, daß das eine Verhärtung des Kaschierschaums zur Folge hat oder gar der textile Überzug erreicht wird. So bleibt ein großer Teil der Poren der Haut offen, so daß eine Luftzirkulation durch die Kaschierschaumschicht hindurch zum Kaltschaumkern möglich ist.
Aus der Zeitschrift »Kunststoffe«, 1964, Heft 7, S. 470/71 ist es beim Flammkaschieren von Textil- und Schaumstoff bereits bekannt, daß die Poren der angeschmolzenen Schaumstoffschicht nicht zugeschmolzen werden und der Wärme- und Feuchtigkeitsaustausch durch das Laminat erhalten bleibt. Es wird daher Schutz für diese Maßnahme nur im Zusammenhang mit den übrigen Merkmalen des Anspruchs begehrt.
In der Figur ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel schematisch veranschaulicht. Dort ist mit 10 ein textiler Überzug bezeichnet, mit 12 eine Kaschierschaumschicht und mit 14 ein Kaltschaumkern. Der Kaschierschaum und der Kaltschaum können beide Polyurethanschäume sein. Die Dicke der Kaschierschaumschicht 12 kann etwa gleich der Dicke des textlien Überzugs 10 sein. Aufgebracht wird die Kaschierschaumschicht beispielsweise durch Kleben oder durch Beflammen. Wie man sieht, sind die Hohlräume in der Kaschierschaumschicht 12 kleiner als in der Kaltschaumschicht 14. Auch ist auf der dem textlien Überzug 10 entgegengesetzten Seite der Kaschierschaumschicht 12 eine Haut 16 ausgebildet, indem beispielsweise der Kaschierschaum auf dieser Seite beflammt wird, so daß der Kunststoff teilweise schmilzt und sich verdichtet, wodurch die Luftdurchlässigkeit aufgrund der sich verengenden Hohlräume herabgesetzt wird. Es ergibt sich dann eine fein-poröse Haut, die
is das Eindringen des Kaltschaums aus der Kaltschaumschicht 14 beim Aufschäumen in die Kaschierschaumschicht 12 behindert
Im vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel weist auch die Kaltschaumschicht 14 eine Haut 18 auf, die beim Erstarren an der Grenzschicht entsteht Diese Haut wird eben dadurch verursacht, daß die Expansion des Kaltschaumes durch die Haut des Kaschierschaumes behindert wird.

  1. Patentanspruch:
    Sitzpolster mit einem textlien Überzug, einer auf der Hinterseite des textlien Oberzugs aufgebrachten Kaschierschaumschicht einem Kaltschaumkern und einer Zwischenschicht, die unmittelbar in Kontakt mit dem Kaltschaumkern steht, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Zwischenschicht als poröse und luftdurchlässige Haut (16) aus der Kaschierschaumschicht (12) durch Beflammen gebildet ist
