Description
Bekanntlich enthält der aus Nadelhölzern hergestellte Holzzellstoff noch Harze und andere
klebrige Stoffe. Dieser Harzgehalt gibt Veranlassung zur Bildung von Siebflecken und
zum Kleben des Papieres an den Naßpressen. Letzteres ist besonders störend bei der Herstellung
dünner Papiere. s
Das den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildende·
Verfahren macht - das im Holzzellstoff noch
ίο vorhandene Harz zur Leimung des Papieres
dienstbar und vermeidet dadurch gleichzeitig die erwähnten Übelstände.
Zu diesem Zweck fügt man dem Holzzellstoff während des Mahlens im Holländer oder
vorher im Kollergang alkalisch wirkende Stoffe,, wie z. B. Ätzalkalien oder solche Alkalisalze
hinzu, die geeignet sind, mit den Harzsäuren harzsaure Salze zu bilden, wie z. B. Carbonate,
Borate u. a. m. Auf je 100 kg trockenen Stoff wird etwa 0,1 bis 1,0 kg der betreffenden Base je
nach dem Harzgehalt des verwendeten Zellstoffes genommen. Während des Mahl Vorganges
wird dadurch das Harz des Zellstoffes in ein harzsaures. Salz verwandelt, das in bekannter
Weise mit Aluminiumsulfat oder Alaunersatzmitteln auf die Faser gefällt wird. Wenn der Harzgehalt des Stoffes zu einer
Volleimung nicht ausreicht, so können dem Stoffe noch andere Leim- oder Leimersatzmittel
zur Ergänzung der Leimwirkung beigemischt werden.

- Patent-AnSpruch:Verfahren zum Leimen von Papier, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das natürliche Harz des Holzzellstoffes zur Leimung benutzt wird.'■ :, Ii i V.
