Claims (9)
1. Schmelzschweißmuffe zur Verwendung beim gegenseitigen Verbinden
von Kunststoffrohren, wobei die Muffe (18) dazu bestimmt ist, die Enden
jener Rohrabschnitte (1, 2) aufzunehmen, die durch eine feste Passung
miteinander verbunden werden sollen, und wobei die Muffe eingebettete
Heizwicklungen (24-27) aufweist, die Widerstandsdrähte oder Heizfäden
umfassen, und die, wenn sie Strom führen, so wirken, daß sie das Muf
fenmaterial mit dem Material in den Rohrwänden an den Stellen durch
Schmelzschweißung verbinden,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
der Durchmesser der Enden (19) der Muffe (18) größer als der Durchmes
ser entlang eines Zwischenabschnittes (20) der Muffe ist; daß der Durch
messer der genannten Enden angepaßt ist, um mit Feinpassung ein äußeres
Rohr (1) aufzunehmen, und daß der Durchmesser entlang des genannten
Zwischenabschnittes angepaßt ist, um mit Feinpassung ein inneres Rohr
(2) einer Doppelrohrleitung aufzunehmen, die zwei koaxiale Rohre und ei
nen Leckage-Erkennungsraum (3) enthält, der zwischen den genannten
koaxialen Rohren vorhanden ist; daß die Muffe (18) Heizwicklungen (24-
27) enthält, die Widerstandsdrähte oder Heizfäden umfassen, welche das
Muffenmaterial befähigen, mit dem Material sowohl der äußeren Rohre
(1), als auch der inneren Rohre (2) von zwei Doppelrohrleitungen, die mit
Hilfe der Muffe verbunden werden sollen, durch Schmelzschweißen ört
lich an den Stellen der genannten Wicklungen verbunden zu werden; und
daß die Muffe mindestens einen einzelnen Durchgangsweg (21) enthält,
der die Räume in der Muffe auf beiden Seiten des Zwischenabschnittes
(20) mit einander verbindet.
2. Schmelzschweißmuffe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die
Heizwicklungen (24, 25), die zum Verschweißen des Muffenmaterials mit
dem Material der äußeren Rohre (1) bestimmt sind, in der axialen Rich
tung der miteinander zu verbindenden Rohre nicht die Heizwicklungen
(26, 27) überlappen, die den Zweck haben, das Muffenmaterial mit dem
Material der inneren Rohre (2) durch Schmelzschweißen zu verbinden.
3. Schmelzschweißmuffe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
mindestens ein einzelner Durchgangsweg (21) in einem gegebenen Ab
stand von derjenigen Stelle ausmündet, bis zu der das äußere Rohr (1) ei
ner Doppelrohrleitung, die mit der Muffe (18) verbunden werden soll, in
die Muffe eingeschoben werden kann.
4. Schmelzschweißmuffe nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß sie 2-4 Durchgangswege (21) in Form von rohrförmigen Elementen
aufweist, die in die Muffe eingeformt sind.
5. Schmelzschweißmuffe nach irgendeinem der Ansprüche 1-3, dadurch
gekennzeichnet, daß die Muffe (18) vier Wicklungen von Widerstands
drähten oder Heizfäden enthält, von denen zwei Wicklungen (24, 25) in
jene Endabschnitte (19) der Muffen eingebettet sind, die den genannten
größeren Durchmesser haben, und daß zwei Wicklungen (26, 27) in den
mittleren Muffenabschnitt (20) mit kleinerem Durchmesser und an beiden
Seiten des Mittelpunktes des genannten Zwischenabschnittes eingebettet
sind.
6. Schmelzschweißmuffe nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die
Wicklungen (24-27) miteinander verbunden sind und an zwei gemeinsa
me Anschlüsse (28, 29) der Muffe (18) angeschlossen sind.
7. Schmelzschweißmuffe nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß alle
Wicklungen (24-27) in Reihe zwischen den Anschlüssen (28, 29) ange
schlossen sind.
8. Schmelzschweißmuffe nach irgendeinem der Ansprüche 6-7, dadurch
gekennzeichnet, daß der Zwischenmuffenabschnitt (20) mit dem kleineren
Durchmesser nach innen vorstehende Stoppmittel (22) in der Mitte der
Muffe (18) aufweisen.
9. Schmelzschweißmuffe nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das
Stoppmittel (22) die Form eines ringförmigen Flansches aufweist.
