KLASSE 13: Dampfkessel nebst Ausrüstung.
CARL ZIEGLER in KÖLN a. Rh. Schutzvorrichtung für Wasserstandgläser.
Patentirt im Deutschen Reiche vom 2g. März 1884 ab.
Die Vorrichtung ist in Fig. 1 in der Seitenansicht, in Fig. 2 im Längsschnitt c-d, in Fig. 3 im Querschnitt a-b dargestellt und besteht aus dem Blechmantel M, welcher das Glas nach der Aufsenseite ganz umschliefst, hingegen die Innenseite desselben, d. i. die der Kesselwand zunächst liegende Seite, offen läfst, und dem an dieser Seite angebrachten Spiegel S, in welchem das Wasserstandglas beobachtet wird. Der Mantel M ist an die Bügel b angenietet und wird mit diesen am Gehäusekopf mittelst der Bolzen s gehalten. Der Spiegel ist zwischen den verlängerten Schenkeln der Bügel b, wie ersichtlich, angebracht und ist drehbar, so dafs der Beobachter ihn nach Belieben einstellen kann.

    Die geschlossene Umhüllung M und die Anwendung des Spiegels .S zur Beobachtung des Wasserstandes.
