Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Anzeige der Sättigung eines Fettfilters vor. Dunstabzugshauben, bei der auf dem Fettfilter ein den Sättigungszustand anzeigendes Umschlagpapier angeordnet ist, nach Patent 25 09 032.The invention relates to a device for displaying the saturation of a grease filter. Diese Einrichtung ist konstruktiv verhältnismäßig aufwendig und somit teuer. Das Gehäuse 2 einer Dunstabzugshaube zum Absaugen der sich über einer Kochstelle bildenden Dünste ist zur Ansaugseite hin mit einem Fettfilter 1 versehen. Auf der Rückseite des Fettfilters ! ist ein Umschlagpapier bzw. Indikatorpapier 3 angeordnet, welches durch Ändern seiner Farbe eine Sättigung des Fettfilters anzeigt. Das Fettfilter 1 ist an einer plattenförmigen Halterung 9 befestigt, die mit einer von außen zugänglichen Handhabe 10 versehen ist. Die Handhabe 10 ist in einer neben dem Fettfilter 1 im Gehäuse 2 der Dunstabzugshaube gebildeten und nach unten offenen Vertiefung 11 untergebracht. In dieser Vertiefung 11 ist eine Öffnung 12 oder ein Sichtfenster angebracht, hinter der das auf der Rückseite des Fettfilters 1 aufliegende Umschlag- bzw. Indikatorpapier 3 mittels der Handhabe 10 zur Ansicht gebracht werden kann (Fig.2), so daß der Benutzer erkennen kann, ob sich das Umschlag- bzw. Indikatorpapier 3 verfärbt hat und der Fettfilier gereinigt werden muß. Vorteilhaft ist es dabei, neben der Öffnung 12 in der Vertiefung 11 eine mit einem unveränderlichen und dem verfärbten Umschlag- bzw. Inditiiorpapier 3 bei gesättigtem Fettfilter entsprechenden Vergleichsfarbanstrich versehene Räche 13 vorzugehen. Durch diese Maßnahme wird die Beurteilung der jeweiligen Verfärbung des in der Öffnung 12 zur Ansicht gebrachten Umschlagpapiers 3 wesentlich erleichtert.The housing 2 of an extractor hood for sucking off the vapors that form over a hotplate is provided with a grease filter 1 on the suction side.
