Description

KAISERLICHES
PATENTAMT.
Zum Gummieren von zusammenhängenden Papierstreifen, wie sie z. B. im Telegraphendienst Verwendung finden, hat man schon verschiedene Vorrichtungen vorgeschlagen, die indessen alle mehr oder weniger offen sind, was dazu führt, daß die Gummi-, Dextrinoder sonstige Lösung ziemlich schnell trocken und starr wird, so daß die Vorrichtung gär nicht mehr ihren Zweck erfüllt.
ίο Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet eine allseitig geschlossene Vorrichtung zum Gummieren solcher Papierstreifen, durch welche der Vorteil erreicht wird, daß der Klebstoff sich immer flüssig hält und dadurch jede Reinigung überflüssig macht.
Eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform des Erfindungsgegenstandes ist auf der Zeichnung dargestellt, und zwar zeigt:
Fig. ι einen Längsschnitt durch die Vorao richtung im geschlossenen Zustande,
Fig. 2 einen Grundriß derselben im offenen Zustande und
Fig. 3 den Rakel im Aufriß.
Im Unterteil 1 eines den Klebstoff enthaltenden Kastens aus Metall, Gußeisen ο. dgl., der durch Scharniere beliebiger Art mit einem genau schließenden Deckel 2 verbunden ist, sind eine Walze 3 und ein Rakel 4 gelagert; im Rakel ist oben ein Ausschnitt 5 von der Breite des Papierstreifens 6 angeordnet. Im Deckel 2 ist eine Rolle 7 gelagert. In beiden Endwänden des Unterteils oder des Deckels finden sich Ausschnitte 8, die derart abgemessen sind, daß sie den Papierstreifen durchtreten lassen, ohne der Luft unnötigen Zutritt zu geben; die Ausschnitte 8 sind seitlich durch Führungsleisten 9 abgegrenzt.
Die Einzelheiten des Erfindungsgegenstandes können mehrfach geändert werden, ohne daß man vom Grundgedanken der Erfindung abweicht.

Claims (1)

  1. Pate nt-An SPRU cn :
    Vorrichtung zum Gummieren von Papierstreifen, bei der ein Rad den Klebstoff auf den Papierstreifen überträgt, ein Rakel den überflüssigen Klebstoff abstreift und eine Rolle den Papierstreifen gegen den Rakel drückt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß diese Teile in einem allseitig geschlossenen Kasten eingeschlossen sind.
