Es wurde gefunden, daß die neuen erfindungsgemäßen Piperidinderivate
mit der obigen Formel I auf synthetische Polymermaterialien einen stabilisierenden Effekt ausüben
und daß sie insbesondere dazu geeignet sind, Photo- und thermische Abbaureaktionen zu verhindern.

Diese synthetischen polymeren Materialien werden aufgrund
ihrer ausgezeichneten Eigenschaften in weitem Ausmaß in Form von verschiedenen Gestalten^ z.Bo als Fasern, Filme,

Die für R^ in der obengenannten Formel I angegebene Alkylgruppe

mit 1 bis 4 Kohlenstoffatomen im Alkoxyteil, z.B. eine 2-A*thoxyäthyl- oder Äthoxymethylgruppe, eine Acyloxyalkylgruppe

Alkenylgruppe hat 3 bis 4 Kohlenstoff atome und ist beispielsweise
eine Allylgruppe. Die Alkinylgruppe hat 3 bis 4 Kohlenstoffatome und ist beispielsweise eine 2-Propynylgruppe.
Die Aralkylgruppe hat 7 bis 8 Kohlenstoffatome
und ist beispielsweise eine Benzylgruppe. Die aliphatische Acylgruppe hat 2 bis 8 Kohlenstoffatome und ist beispielsweise
eine Acetyl-, Propionyl-, Butyryl, Octanoyl-, Acryloyl-, Methacryloyl- oder Crotonylgruppe. Die Alkoxycarbonylgruppe·hat
2 bis 10 Kohlenstoffatome und ist beispielsweise eine Äthoxycarbonyl- oder Octoxycarbonylgruppe.
Die Aralkoxycarbonylgruppe hat 8 bis 10 Kohlenstoffatome
und ist beispielsweise eine Benzyloxycarbonylgruppe. Die "bevorzugte Bedeutung für R^ ist ein Wasserstoffatom, eine
Methylgruppe, eine Allylgruppe, eine Benzylgruppe oder eine aliphatische Acylgruppe mit 2 bis 8 Kohlenstoffatomen.
Die niedrige Alkylgruppe für R2 hat 1 bis 4 Kohlenstoffatome
und ist z.B. eine Methylgruppe. Die im Zusammenhang mit R, angegebenen Alkylgruppen, Alkenylgruppen, Alkinyl-

Aralkylgruppe hat 7 bis 8 Kohlenstoffatome im Aralkylteil, wobei die Phenylg'ruppe mit einer Alkylgruppe
mit 1 bis 4 Kohlenstoffatomen oder einer Hydroxygruppe
substituiert sein kann. So handelt es sich z.B. um eine
Benzyl- oder 3,5-Di-t-hutyl-4-hydroxybenzylgruppe. Die Cycloalkylgruppe
hat 5 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatome und ist beispielsweise eine. Cyclohexylgruppe. Die Arylgruppe hat 6

Die erfindungsgemäßen Piperidinderivate können leicht hergestellt
werden, indem die Verbindungen II mit den Verbindungen III in Gegenwart eines basischen Katalysators, z.B.
Natriumethylat* Natriumäthylat, Kaliumbutylat oder Natriumhydroxidj
in einem organischen Lösungsmittel, wie Toluol oder Xylol, umgesetzt werden, wie es in folgender Gleichung

Gemäß der Erfindung können die Piperidinderivate I, die
als Stabilisatoren verwendet werden, nach den verschiedenen
bekannten Methoden ohne weiteres in synthetische polymere Materialien eingearbeitet werden. Der Stabilisator
kann zu einem synthetischen Polymermaterial in. ^eder Herstellungstufe
des Formprodukts daraus zugesetzt werden. So kann z.B. der Stabilisator in Form eines trockenen Pulvers
mit dem synthetischen Polymerenmaterial vermischt werden. Man kann aber auch so vorgehen, daß man eine Suspension
oder Emulsion des Stabilisators zumischt.

Die Menge des Piperidinderivats I, die erfindungsgemäß einem synthetisehen Polymerenmaterial zugesetzt wird,
variiert entsprechend der Art und des Anvrendungszweckes
des synthetischen Polymerenmaterials β !Da allgemeinen können
Mengen von 0,01 bis 5?0 Gew.-%, "bezogen auf das Gewicht
des synthetischen Polymerenmaterials, verwendet werden. Der praktische Bereich kann entsprechend den synthetischen
Polymeren variiert werden und kann für Polyolefine 0,01 bis 2,0 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 0,02 bis 1,0 Gew.-%, für
Polyvinylchlorid und Polyvinylidenchlorid 0,01 bis 1,0 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise 0,02 bis 0,5 Gew.-%, und für Polyurethane
und Polyamide 0,01 bis 5,0 Gew«-%s vorzugsweise
0,02 bis 2,0 Gew.-%, betragen.
Die erfindungsgemäß verwendeten Stabilisatoren können entweder
für sich oder im Gemisch'mit anderen bekannten Antioxidantien

Die Beispiele 1 "bis 8 beschreiben synthetische Polymermassen,
die die erfindungs gemäß en Piperidinderivate I enthalten, sowie die stabilisierenden Wirkungen dieser Verbindungen.
Das Herstellungsbeispiel beschreibt die Herstellung der Piperidinderivateβ
Methyl-ß- (1,2,2,6,6-pentamethyl~4-piperidyloxy ) cro tonat %
Zu 6,2 g 4-Hydroxy-i,2 s 2,6, 6=pentaiaethylplperidin vrurden
4,26 g Methyltetrolat und 150 ml Xylol gegeben. Zu dieser
Lösung wurden unter Eiskühlung 3 ml ©iner methanolischen Lösung von Natriummethylat (Oj,39 g) zugefügt. Die
Lösung wurde am Rückfluß 8 sta lang erhitzt. Mach dem Abkühlen wurden 200 ml" Wasser zugegeben und es erfolgte
eine Phasenabscheidung. Die wäßrige Schiebt wurde mit
Äther extrahiert«, Die Ätherlösung wurde mit der abgetrennten Xylolschicht vereinigt, mit Wasser gewaschen, getrocknet
und unter vermindertem Druck destilliert, wodurch das angestrebte Produkt als farblose Flüssigkeit
mit einem Siedepunkt von 120 bis 122°C/0,1 mm Hg erhalten
wurde.

Gemisch wurde unter Erhitzen und unter Druck zu einer Platte mit einer Dicke von 0,5 mm verformt.
Die Platte wurde in ©inem Fademeter bei 45 C einer Ultraviolettstrahlung
ausgesetzt. Es wurde der Zeitpunkt bestimmt, bei welchem die Platte spröde wurde.
Die Ergebhisse sind in Tabelle I zusammengestellt» Die
angegebenen Zahlen beziehen sich auf die zuvor angegebenen Nummern der Verbindungenβ
In 100 Teile Polyäthylen hoher Dichte (HI-Zex von Mitsui
Toatsu Chemicals InC02 nach zweimaliger Umkristallisation
aus Toluol) wurden 0s25 Teile des erfindungsgemäßen Stabilisators
eingearbeitete Das resultierende Gemisch wurde vermengt und geschmolzen,, Es wurde unter Erhitzen und
unter Druck zu einer Platte mit einer Dicke von 0,5 mm verformt.
Die Platte wurde in einem Pademeter bei 450C einer UV-Strahlung
ausgesetzte Es wurde der Zeitpunkt gemessen, bei welchem die Platte spröde wurde.
Die Ergebnisse sind in Tabelle I zusammengestellt.

In 100 Teile Polystyrol (Warenzeichen Styron von Asahi-Dow
Limited, nach zweimaliger Umkristallisation aus einem Gemisch von Benzol mit Methanol) wurden 0s25 Teile des
erfindungsgemäßen Stabilisators eingearbeitet. Das resultierende Gemisch wurde bei 1800C unter Druck zu "einer
Platte mit einer Dicke von 1 mm'verformtβ
Die auf diese Weise gebildete Platte wurde in einem Fademeter
bei 45°C 500 std lang einer UV-Strahlung ausgesetzt. Ein Probekörper der behandelten Platte wurde nach der
JIS-Norm K-7103 unter Verwendung eines Farbunterschieds-Colorimeters
auf den Farbunterschied untersucht„ Die Ver-

änderung des Gelbgrads der Platte wurde nach folgender
Gleichung bestimmt:

In 100 Teile eines ABS-Harzes (Warenzeichen Kane Ace B-12
von Kanagafuchi Chemical Industries Co., Ltd.) wurden 0,5 Teile des erfindungsgemäßen Stabilisators eingearbeitet.
Das resultierende Gemisch wurde auf einer Knetwalze 6 min bei 16O°C geknetet, sodann zu einer Platte
mit einer Dicke von etwa O95 mm verformt.
Die Platte wurde 50 std lang in einer Sonnenschein-Bewitterungsvorrichtung
behandelt und auf die Retention

der Enddehnung und der Endzugfestigkeit nach der herkömmliehen
Zugfestigkeitsuntersuehungsmethode untersucht.
Auch der Verfärbungsgrad wurde bestimmt« Die erhaltenen Begebnisse sind in Tabelle III zusaminen'gestellts

und unter Verwendung einer herkömmlichen Spritzgußmaschine zu einem Film mit einer Dicke ύοώ. etwa 0s1 mm verfonat.
Der erhaltene Film wurde bei den folgenden Alterungsbedingungen gealtert und sodann einer Zugfestigkeitsuntersuchung
unterworfen, um die Retentionen der Zugfestigkeit und der Dehnung festzustellen«,

In 100 Teile eines aus Polycaprolaeton hergestellten Polyurethanharzes
(Warenzeichen E-5080 von The Nippon Elastollan Industries Ltd.) wurden 0,5 Teile des erfindungsgemäßen Stabilisators
eingearbeitet. Das resultierende Gemisch wurde erhitzt und geschmolzen«, Sodann wurde es zu einer Platte
mit einer Dicke von etwa 0,5 mm verformt.
Die erhaltene Platte wurde in einem Fademeter 15 std lang bei 45°C der Ultraviolettstrahlung ausgesetzt und sodann
auf die Retentionen der Enddehnung und der Endzugfestigkeit untersucht.
Die erhaltenen Ergebnisse sind in Tabelle V zusammengestellt:

0,5 Teile Butylstearat und 0,25 Teile des erfindungsgemäßen Stabilisators eingearbeitete Das resultierende Gemisch
-wurde 5 min auf einer Knetwalze bei 180°C geknetet ■und zu einer Platte mit einer Dicke von 0,5 mm verformto
Die Platte wurde in einer Sonnenschein-Bewitterungsvorrichtung 300 std lang behandelt, worauf die Verfärbung beobachtet
wurde.
Die erhaltenen Ergebnisse sind in der Tabelle VI zusammengestellt:

In 100 Teile Polyester (Warenzeichen Sster-G13 von Mitsui
Toatsu Chemicals Inc.) wurden 1. Teil Benzoylperoxid und 0,2 Teile Stabilisator eingearbeitet. Das resultierende
Gemisch wurde durch 30-minütiges Vorerhitzen auf 60°C gehärtet und sodann bei 1000C eine weitere std erhitzt, um
zu einer Platte mit einer Dicke von 3 mm verformt zu werden.
Die auf diese Weise gebildete Platte wurde 60 std in der
Sonnenschein-Bewitterungsvorriclitung einer Bestrahlung
ausgesetzt. Wie im Beispiel 3 wunde die Änderung des Gelbindex
bestimmt. Die erhaltenen Ergebnisse and in der Tabelle VII zusammengestellts
