Description
- "Neue Aryl-äther-derivate" Gegenstand der Erfindung sind Aryl-äther-derivate, ihre Herstellung und Verwendung-zur Bekämpfung von Insekten.
- Die Verbindungen entsprechen der Formel worin R1 Wasserstoff, Halogen, Cl-C4-Alkyl, Vinyl oder Aethinyl, R2 Wasserstoff, Halogen, Methyl oder Aethyl, R3 Wasserstoff, Halogen, Methyl oder C1-C4-Alkoxy, R4 Wasserstoff, Halogen oder Methyl, R5 Wasserstoff oder R3 und R5 zusammen eine Kohlenstoff-Kohlenstoff-Bindung oder eine Sauerstoffbrücke, R6 Wasserstoff oder Methyl, R7 Cyclohexyl oder die Gruppe oder worin R8 Wasserstoff, Halogen, C1-C4-Alkyl oder C1-C4-Alkoxy und Rq Wasserstoff oder n-Propyl bedeuten, Y -CH2- CH2 -O-CH2- , -CH=CH- , -N=N- oder direkte Bindung und .m und n je die Zahlen 0 oder 1 bedeuten.
- Unter Halogen sind Fluor, Chlor, Brom oder Jod, insbesondere aber Chlor zu verstehen.
- Die bei R1, R3 und R8 in Frage kommenden Alkyl- und Alkoxygruppen können geradkettig oder verzweigt sein.
- Beispiele solcher Gruppen sind u.a. Methyl, Aethyl, Propyl, Isopropyl, i-, n-, sek.-, tert.-Butyl,Methoxy, Aethoxy, Hervorzuheben sind Verbindungen der Formel I, worin R1 Wasserstoff, Chlor, Methyl, Aethyl, Vinyl oder Aethinyl, R2 Wasserstoff, Chlor oder Methyl, R3 Wasserstoff, Chlor, Methyl, Aethyl, Methoxy oder Aethoxy, R4 Wasserstoff, Chlor oder Methyl, R5 Wasserstoff oder R3 und R5 zusammen eine Kohlenstoff-Kohlenstoff-Bindung oder eine SauerstoffbrUcke, R, Wasserstoff oder Methyl, R7 Cyclohexyl oder Die Gruppe oder worin R8 Wasserstoff, Chlor, Methyl oder Methoxy und Rg Wasserstoff oder n-Propyl bedeuten, Y -CH2- , -CH2O- , -OCH2- , -CH=CH- , -N=N- oder direkte Bindung und m und n je die Zahlen 0 oder l-bedeuten.
- Wegen ihrer Wirkung bevorzugt sind die Verbindungen der Formel I, worin R1 Wasserstoff, Chlor, Methyl, Aethyl, Vinyl oder Aethinyl, R2 Wasserstoff, Chlor oder Methyl, R3 Wasserstoff oder Methoxy, R4 Wasserstoff, Chlor oder Methyl, R5 Wasserstoff oder R3 und R5 zusammen eine Kohlenstoff-Kohlenstoff-Bindung oder eine Sauerstoff-Brücke, R6 Wasserstoff oder Methyl, R7 Cyclohexyl oder die Gruppe oder worin R8 Wasserstoff, Chlor oder Methyl und R8 Wasserstoff oder n-Propyl, -CH2- -CH2O-, -N=N- oder direkte Bindung und n je die Zahlen 0 oder 1 bedeuten.
- Die Herstellung der Verbindungen der Formel 1 erfolgt in an sich bekannter Weise nach folgenden Methoden: 1) Bildung des Aethers (O-Alkylierung) durch Kondensation eines Halogenides der Formel III mit einer Verbindung der Formel II
wobei in den Formeln II und III R1 bis R7, Y, m und n die für die Formel I angegebene Bedeutung haben; X steht fUr Chlor, Brom oder Jod, vorzugsweise fUr Chlor oder Brom; M ist ein Metall insbesondere der I. oder II. - 4) Epoxydierung eines ungesättigten Halogenids zu einem Epoxyhalogenid und Kondensation desselben mit einer Verbindung der Formel II:

Hauptgruppe des Periodensystems oder Wasserstoff.
- 7) C-Alkylierung durch Kondensation eines Halogenides der Formel VIII mit einem Phenol bzw. Phenolat der Formel IX wobei in den Formeln VIII und IX R1 bis R7, m und n die für die Formel I angegebene Bedeutung haben, R3 und R5 jedoch keine Epoxidgruppe bilden, X steht für Chlor, Brom oder Jod, vorzugsweise für Chlor oder Brom, M ist ein Metall, insbesondere der I. oder II. Hauptgruppe des Periodensystems oder Wasserstoff.
- 8) Ein weiteres Verfahren zur Herstellung der Verbindungen der Formel IB (wobei Y=OCH2) besteht darin, dass man einen Ester des p-Kresols, z.B. p-Kresylacetat mit einem Halogenüberträger, beispielsweise einen N-Halogensuccinimid oder einem anderen N-Halogen an.
- bonsäureamide bzw. Imid in l-Acyloxy-4-halogenmethylbenzol X überführt. Letzteren mit einem Phenol bzw.
- Phenolat der Formel IX kondensiert,darauf die Estergruppe des Benzylalkyläthers der Formel XI hydrolysiert und schliesslich das freie Phenol der- Formel II (wobei Y=OCH2) wie unter 1) oben beschrieben weiter mit einem Halogenid III zum Endprodukt IB (Y=OCH2) umsetzt.

- 10) Alkylierung eines Alkohols der Formel IG
wobei R1, R2 R4, R6, R7, Y, m und n die für die Formel I angegebene Bedeutung haben, X ein Halogenatom und R13 einen Cl-C4-Alkylrest bedeuten.R7-Y U R R2 i) tarke Base 6R4 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ OH R1 2) R' 5X (I) - Die O-Alkylierung einer Verbindung der Formel II bzw. VII bzw. IX kann mit den verschiedenen gesättigten bzw. ungesättigten Halogeniden, je nach der Reaktivität des angewandten Halogenids, in verschiedenen Lösungsmitteln und bei unterschiedlichen Reaktionstemperaturen - stets aber in Anwesenheit mindestens einen Mols einer der unten genannten Basen - durchgeführt werden.
- Als inerte Lösungsmittel eignen sich vor allem Aceton, MethylUthylketon, Cyclohexanon, 1,2-DimethoxySthan, Tetrahyrofuran, Dioxan, Dialkyläther, Dimethylformamid, Dimethylsulfoxid, Hexamethylphosphorsäuretriamid, Sulfolan, inerte Kohlenwasserstoffe wie Toluol, Benzol, Xylol und dergleichen. Es können aber auch weitere Lösungsmittel Anwendung finden.
- Als notwendige Basen bzw. Säureacceptoren bei der Aetherbildung aus einer Verbindung der Formel II bzw. VII bzw.
- IX und einem Halogenid finden vor allem Alkali- oder Erdalkalihydroxide, Alkali- oder Erdalkalicarbonate, Alkali-oder Erdalkalihydride und Alkalialkoxide Verwendung; es können jedoch auch organische Basen, wie z.B. Triäthylamin, Pyridin usw. als Säureacceptoren verwendet werden.
- Die Reaktionstemperaturen zur Aetherbildung liegen zwischen -10 und 130°C, meist zwischen 5 und 75°C (z.B. bei Anwendung der Ldsungsmittel wie Dimethylsulfoxid, Dimethylformamid, Dioxan, Sulfolan, Tetrahydrofuran, Hexamethylphosphorsäuretriamid, l,2-Dbnethoxyäthan etc.) oder aber bei der Siedetemperatur des eingesetzten Lösung mittels (z.B. bei Ketonen).
- Die UeberfUhrung von Verbindungen der Formal IB in die entsprechenden Epoxy-Derivate erfolgt vorzugsweise in einem indifferenten Lösungsmittel, zweckmässigerweise in einem chlorierten Kohlenwasserstoff zwischen -25°C und Raumtemperatur, meist zwischen -5 und +5°C, mit Hilfe eines Epoxydierungsmittels, wie z.B. einer Persäure Die Epoxyderivate der Formel IC können auch Uber die entsprechenden Halogenhydrine, durch Abspaltung von Halogenwasserstoff erhalten werden, indem man einen Alkenyläther der Formel IB mit einem N-Halogensuccinimid, z.B. mit N-Bromsuccinimid, in einem Gemisch von Wasser mit einem LösungsmitteL wie Tetrahydrofuran, 1,2-Dimethoxyathan, Dioxan oder tert. Butanol in homogener oder heterogener Phase zwischen -50C und Raumtemperatur in das Bronilydrin Uberflihrt und durch nachfolgende Behandlung des Bromhydrins mit einem alkalischen Agens wie z.B. Alkalicarbonat oder einem Alkalialkoxyd das gewünschte Epoxy-Derivat erhält. Unter Alkali sind insbesondere Natrium und Kalium zu verstehen.
- Unter dem Begriff "Persäure" werden in erster Linie niedere Peralkansäuren, mit 1 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen, wie z.B. Peressigsäure, sowie aromatische Persäuren wie Perbenzoesäure, Monoperphthalsäure, besonders aber 3-Chlorperbenzoesäure verstanden.
- Die Aufarbeitung und Isolierung von Verbindungen der Formel 1, bzw. IA - ID erfolgt durch bekannte Techniken, z.B. Versetzen des Reaktionsgemisches mit Wasser oder Eis, anschliessender Extraktion mit einem geeigneten Lösungsmittel, z.B. Aether; Waschen der organischen Phase z.B.
- mit verdUnnter Alkalilauge oder Alkalicarbonat, Trocknen der Lösung über wasserfreiem Natriumsulfat. Nach Entfernung des Lösungsmittels kann die zurückbleibende Verbindung der Formel I falls erforderlich - durch I(ristallisation, Vakuumdestillation oder Chromatographie an Kieselgel oder Aluminiumoxid gereinigt werden.
- Um zu epoxydierten Verbindungen der Formel IC zu gelangen, können verschiedene Reaktionsfolgen zum Ziel fUhren: Entweder wird nach den genannten Herstellungsverfahren zuerst die Hydroxylgruppe des 4-Hydroxy-aryläthers II in Gegenwart einer Base mit einem Alkenylhalogenid veräthert und anschliessend in diesem Arylalkenyl-äther die olefinische Doppelbindung wie oben beschrieben in ein Epoxyd übergeführt oder aber zuerst das Alkenylhalogenid unter Feuchtigkeitsausschluss, in einem chlorierten Kohlenwasserstoff, zwischen -25°C und Raumtemperatur mit Hilfe eines Epoxydierungsmittels, wie z.B. einer Persäure, epoxidiert und dieses Epoxy-halogenid in der Folgereaktion mit dem 4-Hydroxyaryläther II in Gegenwart eines Säureacceptors zum Endprodukt - einem im Kern substituierten oder unsubstituierten, epoxydierten Diphenyloxid-alkyläther bzw. 4-Cyclohexyloxyphenyl-alkyläther - umgesetzt.
- Die Anlagerung von Halogenwasserstoff, insbesondere von Chlor- oder Bromwasserstoff, an eine aliphatische Doppelbindung erfolgt vorzugsweise durch Einwirkung des wasserfreien llalogenwasserstoffs auf eine Verbindung der Formel lB in einem geeigneten Lösungsmittel, wie z.B.
- Methanol, Aethanol, einem anderen Alkohol, einem Dialkyläther, l,2-Dimethoxyäthan, Eisessig usw. Die Addition des Halogenwasserstoffs wird bei einer Temperatur zwischen -30 und +25°C vorgenommen.
- Die Isolierung des gebildeten Halogenids erfolgt auch hier durch bekannte Techniken, wie Versetzen des Reaktionsgemisches mit Wasser, Extraktion mit einem organischen Lösungsmittel und Entfernung des Uberschüssigen Halogenwasserstoffs durch Neutralisation mit einer schwachen Base oder durch Waschen mit Wasser, wobei nach Entfernung des Lösungsmittels das zurückbleibende Halogenid durch Kristallisation, Hochvakuumdestillation oder Chromatographie weiter gereinigt werden kann.
- Ungesättigte araliphatische Aether der Formel IB (wobei Y#CH20 oder OCH2) können in bekannter Weise zu den gesättigten araliphatischen Aethern der Formel IE hydriert werden, z.B. mit katalytisch angeregtem Wasserstoff, zweckmässig zwischen Raum- und Siedetemperatur des Reakiongemisches bei normalem oder erhöhtem Druck. Als Katalysatoren eignen sich bevorzugt Raney-Nickel oder Edelmetalle wie Platin oder Palladium. Als Lösungsmittel kommen vor allem Essigsäuremethyl- und äthylester, Dioxan oder Alkohole wie Methanol, Aethanol in Betracht.
- Die Umsetzungen zu dem Wirkstoff der Formel I, worin R3 ein C1-C4-Alkoxygruppe bedeutet, werden bei normalem Druck und in einem wasserfreien Alkohol R' 30H und gegebenenfalls in gegenüber den Reaktionsteilnehmern inerten Lösungs-und Verdünnungsmitteln durchgeführt, beispielsweise in Aethern wie Tetrahydrofuran, Dioxan, Diäthyläthelr, 1,2-Dimethyloxyäthan usw.In der 1. Stufe -falls R'3=H- sowie in der 2. Stufe kann auch Wasser als Lösungsmittel eingesetzt werden.
- Als Quecksilber-(II)-Salze werden vorzugsweise Quecksilber-(II)-acetat und Quecksilber- (II)-trifluoracetat verwendet.
- Als Komplexes Hydrid wird z.B. MeBll4yerwendet, worin Me ein Alkali- oder Erdalkalimetallatom bedeutet. Die Umsetzung mit Komplexem Hydrid erfolgt in Gegenwart' von Alkalihydroxyd und Wasser. Die Reaktionstemperaturen liegen im Bereich von -10 bis +400C, vorzugsweise zwischen 10 und 300 C.
- Als weitere Methoden zur Gewinnung der Verbindungen der Formel I, worin R3 einen C1-C44Ikoxygruppe bedeutet, kann auch die Verätherung eines Alkohols der Formel IG durch Umsetzung mit einem Halogenid, je nach der Reaktivität des angewandten Halogenides, in verschiedenen Lösungsmitteln und bei unterschiedlichen Reaktionstemperaturen - stets aber in Anwesenheit mindestens eines Nols einer der oben genannten Basen - durchgeführt werden.
- Die erhaltenen Verbindungen fallen - wo dies prinzipiell zu erwarten ist - als cis/trans-Isomerengemische an. Ein Isomerengemisch kann z.B. mit Hilfe chromatographischer Trennmethoden in die isomeren Formen aufgetrennt werden, z.B. durch Adsorption an einem Trennmaterial mit selektiver AdsorptionsaktivitSt, wie z z.B. Kieselgel Aluminiumoxyd, und anschliessender Eluierung der getrennten Isomeren mit einem geeigneten Lösungsmittel z.B. Diäthyläther, Hexan, Essigsäuremethyl- oder ethylester. Eine weitere chromatographische Trennmethode ist die Gaschromatographie. In gewissen Fällen kann ein Isomerengemisch auch durch fraktionierte Destillation oder fraktionierte Kristallisation getrennt werden.
- Die Ausgangsstoffe der Formeln II bis XI sind bekannte Verbindungen, bzw können analog bekannten in der Llteratur beschriebenen Methoden hergestellt werden Die Herstellung der Ausgangsprodukte der Formel VIII erfolgt beispielsweise durch O-Alkylierung von p-Txresol mit einem Halogenid IV [R3 und R5 bilden hier zusammen noch keine Sauerstoffbrücke] wie unter 1) oben angegeben.
- Anschliessend wird in die p-Methylgruppe des gebildeten p-Kresyläthers mit einem Halogenierungsmittel wie z.B.
- einem N-Kalogensuccinimid oder einem anderen N-Halogencarbonsäureamid-bzw. N-Halogencarbonsäureimid-Derivat durch Substitution das Halogen X eingeführt.
- Die Halogenierung erfolgt in einem inerten Lösungsmittel wie z.B. Tetrachlorkohlenstoff in Gegenwart von Radikalbildnern oder der Einstrahlung von UV-Licht, zweckmässig zwischen 60 und 90°C.
- Die Verbindungen der Formel I eignen sich zur Bekämpfung von verschiedenartigen tierischen und pflanzlichen Schädlingen, insbesondere eignen sie sich zur Bekämpfung von Insekten.

Ihre gute Wirkung gegen Mückenlarven ist besonders hervorzuheben.
- Die Wirkung der Verbindungen der Formel I lasst sich durch Zusatz von anderen Insektiziden undloder Akariziden wesentlich verbreitern und steigern und an gegebene Umstande anpassen.

Trägern und/oder Zuschlagstoffen eingesetzt werden. Geeignete TrXger und Zuschlagstoffe können fest oder flüssig sein und entsprechen den in der Formulierungstechnik üblichen Stoffen wie z.B. natürlichen oder regenerierten Stoffen, Lösung, Dispergier-, Netz-, Haft-, Verdickungs-, Binde- und/oder Düngemitteln.
- Zur Applikation können die Verbindungen der Formel I zu Stäubemitteln, Emulsionskonzentraten, Granulaten, Dispersionen, Sprays, zu Lösungen oder Aufschlämmungen in üblicher Formulierung, die in der Applikationstechnik zum Allgemeinwissen gehören, verarbeitet werden.
- Die Herstellung erfindunsgemasser Mittel erfolgt in an sich bekannter Weise durch inniges Vermischen und/oder Vermahlen von Wirkstoffen der Formel I mit den geeigneten Trägerstoffen, gegebenenfalls unter Zusatz von gegenüber den Wirkstoffen inerten Dispergier- oder Lösungsmitteln.
- Die Wirkstoffe können in den folgenden Aufarbeitungsformen vorliegen und angewendet werden: Feste Aufarbeitungsformen: Stäubemittel, Streumittel, Granulate, Umhüllungsgranulate, Imprägnierungsgranulate und Homogengranulate Flüssige Aufarbei tungs formen: a) in Wasser dispergierbare Wirkstoffkonzentrate: Spritzpulver (wettable powders) Pasten, Emulsionen; b) Lösungen Zur Herstellung fester Aufarbeitungsformen (Stäubemittel, Streumittel) werden die Wirkstoffe mit festen Tragerstoffen vermischt. Als Trägerstoffe kommen zum Beispiel Kaolin, Talkum, Bolus, Löss, Kreide, Kalkstein, Kalkgries, Attapulgit, Dolomit, Diatomeenerde, gefällte Kieselsäure, Erdalkalisilikate, Natrium- und Kaliumaluminiumsilikate (Feldspäte und Glimmer), Calcium- und Magnesiumsulfate, Magnesiumoxid, gemahlene Kunststof£e, DUngemittel, wie Ammoniumsulfat, Ammoniumphosphat, Ammoniumnitrat, Harnstoff, gemahlene pflanzliche Produkte wie Getreidemehl, Baumrindenmehl, Holzmehl, Nussschalenmehl, Cellulosepulver, Rückstande von Pflanzenextrakten, Aktivkohle etc., je fUr sich oder als Mischungen untereinander in Frage.
- Granulate lassen sich sehr einfach herstellen, indem man einen Wirkstoff der Formel I in einem organischen Lösungsmittel löst und die so erhaltene Lösung auf ein granuliertes Mineral, z.B. Attapulgit, SiO2, Granicalcium, Bentonit usw. aufbringt und dann das organische Lösungsmittel wieder verdampft.
- Es können auch Polymerengranulate dadurch hergestellt werden, dass die Wirkstoffe der Formel I mit polymerisierbaren Verbindungen vermischt werden (Harnstoff/Formaldehyd; Dicyandiamid/Formaldehyd; Melamin/Formaldehyd oder andere), worauf eine schonende Polymerisation durchgeführt wird, von der die Aktivsubstanzen unberührt blei.ben, und wobei noch während der Gelbildung die Granulierung vorgenommen wird. Günstiger ist es, fertige, poröse Polymerengranulate (Harnstoff/Formaldehyd, Polyacrylnitril, Polyester und andere) mit bestimmter Oberflache und günstigem voraus bestimmbarem Adsorptions-/Desorptionsverhältnis mit den Wirkstoffen z.B. in Form ihrer Lösungen (in einem nie-drig siedenden Lösungsmittel) zu imprägnieren und das Lösungsmittel zu entfernen. Derartige Polymerengranulate können in Form von Mikrogranulaten mit Schüttgewichten von vorzugsweise 300 g/Liter-bis 6-00 g/Liter auch mit Hilfe von Zerstaubern ausgebracht werden. Das Zerstäuben kann Über ausgedehnte Flachen von Nutzpflanzenkulturen mit Hilfe von Flugzeugen durchgeführt werden.
- Granulate sind auch durch Kompaktieren des Trägermaterialsmit den Wirk- und Zusatzstoffen und anschliessendem Zerkleinern erhältlich.
- Diesen Gemischen können ferner den Wirkstoff stabilisierende Zusätze und/oder nichtionische, anionaktive und kationaktive Stoffe zugegeben werden, die beispielsweise die Haftfestigkeit der Wirkstoffe auf Pflanzen und Pflanzenteilen verbessern (Haft- und Klebemittel) und/oder eine bessere Benetzbarkeit (Netzmittel) sowie Dispergierbarkeit (Dispergatoren) gewährleisten.
- Beispielsweise kommen folgende Stoffe in Frage: Olein/ Kalk-Mischung, Cellulosederivate (Methylcellulose, Carboxymethylcellulose), Hydroxyäthylenglykoläther von Mono-und Dialkylphenolen mit 5 - 15 Aethylenoxidresten pro Molekül und 8 - 9 Kohlenstoffatomen im Allxylrest, LigninsulfonsSure, deren Alkali- und Erdalkalisalze, Polyäthylenglykoläther (Carbowachse), Fettalkoholpolyglykoläther mit 5 - 20 Aethylenoxidresten pro Molekül und 8 - 18 Kohlenstoffatomen im Fettalkoholteil, Kòndensationsprodukte von Wethylenoxid, Propylenoxid, Polyvinylpyrrolidone, Polyvinylalkohole, Kondensationsprodukte von Harnstoff/Formaldehyd sowie Latex-Produkte.
- In Wasser dispergierbare Wirkstoffkonzentrate, d.h. Spritzpulver (wettable powders) Pasten und Emulsionskonzentrate stellen Mittel dar, die mit Wasser auf jede gewünschte Konzentration verdünnt werden können. Sie bestehen au$ Wirkstoff, Trägerstoff, gegebenenfalls den Wirkstoff stabilisierenden Zusetzen, oberflächenaktiven Substanzen und Antischaummitteln und gegebenenfalls Lösungsmitteln, Die Spritzpulver (wettable powders) und Pasten werden erhalten, indem man die Wirkstoffe mit Dispergiermitteln und pulverförmigen Träger stoffen in geeigneten Vorrichtungen bis zur Homogenität vermischt und vermahlt. Als Trägerstoffe kommen beispielsweise die vorstehend fllr die festen Aufarbeitungsformen erwähnten in Frage. In manchen Fällen ist es vorteilhaft, Mischungen verschiedener Trägerstoffe zu verwenden. Als Dispergatoren können beispielsweise verwendet werden: Kondensationsprodukte von sulfoniertem Naphthalin und sulfonierten Naphthalinderivaten mit Formaldehyd, Kondensationsprodukte des Napthalins bzw. der Naphthalinsulfoüsäuren mit Phenol und Formaldehyd sowie Alkali-, Ammonium- und Erdalkalisalze von Ligninsulfonsäure, weiter Alkylarylsulfonate, Alkali-und Erdalkalimetallsalze der DibutylnaphthalinsulfonsSure, Fettalkoholsulfate, wie Salze sulfatierter Hexadecanole, Heptadecanole, Octadecanole und Salze von sulfatierten Fettalkoholglykoläthern, das Natriumsalz von Oleylmethyltaurid, ditertiäre Aethylenglykole, Dialkyldilaurylarnmoniumchlorid und fettsaure Alkali- und Erdalkalisalze.
- Als Antischa:ummittel kommen zum Beispiel Siliconöle in Frage. Die Wirkstoffe werden mit den oben aufgefthrten Zusätzen so vermischt, vermahlen, gesiebt und passiert, dass bei den Spritzpulvern der feste Anteil eine Korngrösse von 0,02 bis 0,04 und bei den Pasten von 0,03 mm nicht überschreitet. Zur Herstellung von Emulsionskonzentraten und Pasten werden Dispergiermittel, wie sie in den vorangehenden Abschnitten aufgeführt wurden, organische Ldsungsmittcl und Wasser verwendet. Als Lösungsmittel kommen beispielsweise Alkohole, Benzol, Xylole, Toluol, Dimethylsulfoxid und im Bereich von 120 bis 3500C siedende Mineralölfraktionen in Frage. Die Lösungsmittel sollen praktisch geruchlos und den Wirkstoffen gegenüber inert sein.
- Ferner können die erfindungsgemässen Mittel in Form von Lösungen angewendet werden. Hierzu wird der Wirkstoff bzw. werden mehrere Wirkstoffe der allgemeinen Formel I in geeignete organischen Lösungsmitteln, Lösungsmittelgemischen oder Wasser gelöst. Als organische Lösungsmittel können aliphatische und aromatische Kohlenwasserstoffe, deren chlorierte Derivate, Alkylnaphthaline, Mineralöle allein oder als Mischung untereinander verwendet werden.
- Der Gehalt an Wirkstoff in den oben beschriebenen Mitteln liegt zwischen o,i bis 95%, dabei ist zu erwähnen, dass bei der Applikation aus dem Flugzeug oder mittels anderer geeigneter Applikationsgeräte Konzentrationen bis zu 99,5% oder sogar reiner Wirkstoff eingesetzt werden können Die Wirkstoffe der Formel I können beispielsweise wie folgt formuliert werden: Stäubemittel: Zur Herstellung eines, a) 5%igen und.
- b) 2%igen Stäubemittels werden die folgenden Stoffe verwendet: a) 5 Teile Wirkstoff 95 Teile Talkum; b) 2 Teile Wirkstoff 1 Teil hochdisperse Kieselsäure, 97 Teile Talkum Die Wirkstoffc werden mit den Trägerstoffen vermischt und vermahlen.
- Granulat: Zur Herstellung eines 5%igen Granulates werden die folgenden Stoffe verwendet: 5 Teile Wirk-stoff 0,25 Teile Epichlorhydrin, 0,25 Teile Cetylpolyglykoläther, 3,50 Teile Polyäthylenglykol 91 Teile Kaolin (Korngrösse 0,3 - 0,8 mm).
- Die Aktivsubstanz wird mit Epichlorhydrin vermischt und mit 6 Teilen Aceton gelöst, hierauf wird Polyäthylenglykol und Cetylpolyglykoläther zugesetzt. Die so erhaltene Lösung wird auf Kaolin aufgesprüht und anschliessend das Aceton im Vakuum verdampft.
- Spritzpulver: Zur Herstellung eines a) 40%igen, b) und c) 25%igen d) 10%igen Spritzpulvers werden folgende Bestandteile verwendet: a) 40 Teile Wirkstoff 5 Teile Ligninsulfonsäure-Natriumsalz, 1 Teil Dibutylnaphthalinsulfonsäure-Natritimsalz 54 Teile Kieselsäure; b) 25 Teile Wirkstoff 4,5 Teile Calcium-Liginsulfonat, 1,9 Teile Champagne-Kreide/Hydroxyäthylcellulose-Gemisch (1:1), 1,5 Teile Natruim-dibutyl-naphthalinsulfonat, 19,5 Teile Kieselsäure, 19,5 Teile Champagne-Kreide, 28,1 Teile Kaolin, c) 25 Teile Wirkstoff 2,5 Teile Isooctylphenoxy-polyoxyäthylen-äthanol, 1,7 Teile Champagne-Kreide/Hydroxyäthylcellulose-Gemisch (1:1), 8,3 Teile Natriumaluminiumsilikat, 16,5 Teile Kieselgur, 46 Teile Kaolin; d) 10 Teile Wirkstoff 3 Teile Gemisch der Natriumsalze von gesättigten Fettalkoholsulfaten, 5 Teile Naphthalinsulfonsäure/Formaldehyd-Kondensat, 82 Teile Kaolin.
- Die Wirkstoffe werden in geeigneten Mischernmit den Zuschlagstoffen innig vermischt und auf entsprechenden MUhlen und Walzen vermahlen. Man erhält Spritzpulver, die sich mit Wasser zu Suspensionen jeder gewünschten Konzentration verdünnen lassen.
- Emulgierbare Konzentrate: Zur Herstellung eines a) IO70igen und b) 25%igen emulgierbaren Konzentrates werden folgende Stoffe verwendet: a) 10 Teile Wirkstoff 3,4 Teile epoxydiertes Pflanzenöl, 13,4 Teile eines Kombinationsemulgators, bestehend aus F~ettalkoholpolyglykolSther und Alkylaryl -sulfonat-Calcium-Salz, 40 Teile Dimethylformamid, 43>2 Teile Xylol; b) 25 Teile Wirkstoff 2,5 Teile epoxydiertes Pflanzenöl, 10 Teile eines Alkylarylsulfonat/Fettalkoholpolyglykoläther-Gemisches, 5 Teile Dimethylformamid, 57,5 Teile Xylol.
- Aus solchen I(onzentraten können durch Verdünnen mit Wasser Emulsionen jeder gewünschten Konzentration hergestellt werden.
- Sprühmittel: Zur Herstellung eines 5%igen Sprührnittels werden die folgenden Bestandteile verwendet: 5 Teile Wirkstoff, 1 Teil Epichlorhydrin, 94 Teile Benzin (Siedegrenzen 160 - 190°C); Beispiel 1 Zu einer Lösung von 19,8 g 1-(4-Hydroxyphenyl)-1-phenyläthan und 16,3 g 1-Brom-3-methyl-2-penten in 150 ml 1,2-Dimethoxyäthan wurde bei Raumtemperatur unter Rühren innerhalb von 5 Stunden die Lösung von 6,3 g ca. 90%igem Kaliumhydroxyd in 9Q ml absolutem Aethanol getropft. Nach der Zugabe der Base rühhrte man weitere 14 Stunden bei Raumtemperatur nach. Zur Aufarbeitung wurde vom ausgefallenen Kaliumbromid abfiltriert, das Filtrat im Vakuum eingeengt, der Rückstand in Hexan aufgenommen, dreimal mit eiskalter lO%iaer Kalilauge und anschliessend mit Wasser neutral gewaschen. Nach dem Trocknen der organischen Phase über Natriumsulfat, der Filtration und der vollständigen Entfernung des Lösungsmittels im Vakuum hinterblieb das reine 1-4-[(3-methyl-2-pentenyl-1-oxy)-phenyl]-1-phenyläthan. nD20 : 1,5500.
- Beispiel 2 Zu einer Lösung von 11,2 g 1-[4-(3-methyl-2-pentenyl-1-oxy)-phenyl]-1-phenyl-äthan in 130 ml Methylenchlorid tropfte man bei -7° bis -5°C innerhalb von ca. 4 Stunden die Lösung von 8,3 g ca. 84%iger 3-Chlorperbenzoesäure in 100 ml Methylenchlorid-Diäthyläther (9:1). Nach der Zugabe der Persäure wurde noch 3 Stunden bei 0°C weiter gerUhrt, darauf das Reaktionsgemisch mit n-IIexan versetzt, dreimal mit eiskalter 10%iger Kalilauge und anschliessend mit Wasser neutral gewaschen. Nach dem Trocknen der organischen Lösung Uber Natriumsulfat vor de abfiltriert, die Lösungsmittel im Vakuum entfernt und der ölige RUckstand durch Chromatographie an Kieselgel gereinigt (Eluierungsmittel: AetherAlexan 1:4), wodurch reines 1-[4-(3-methyl-2,3-epoxy-pentyl-1-oxy)-phenyl]-1-20 phenyl-äthan erhalten wurde. nD 1,5434.
- Beispiel 3 Zu einer auf -2°C gekühlten Suspension von 5,6 g pulverisiertem Quecksilber-(II)-acetat in 30 ml absoluten Methanol gab man unter kräftigem Rühren in 10 Minuten die Lösung von 5 g 4-Cyclohexyl-l- (6-methyl-5-heptenyl-2-oxy)-benzol in 10 ml absolutem Methanol. Hierbei war ein schwacher Temperaturanstieg feststellbar. 40 Minuten nach der Zugabe des Alkens wurde das Reaktionsgemisch bei -2°C mit 20 ml 3 N wässriger Natriumhydroxid-Lösung und sofort anschliessend mit 20 ml einer 0,5 in Natriumhydrid-Lösung in 3 N Natronlauge versetzt, wobei ein Temperaturanstieg auf ca. 20 - 230C erfolgte. Anschliessend wurde noch 2 Stunden bei 15 - 20°C weiter gerührt. Zu Aufarbeitung dekantierte man das Reaktionsgemisch vom abgeschiedenen Quecksilber, goss die überstehende Lösung auf 250 ml gesättigte Natriumchlorid-Lösung und extrahierte viermal mit Diäthyläther. Die vereinigten Aetherlösungen wurden mit Natriumchlorid-Lösung gewaschen, über Natriumsulfat getrocknet und im Vakuum vollständig vom Lösungsmittel befreit. Den öligen Rückstand reinigte man weiter durch Chromatographie an Kieselgel (Eluierungsmittel :Diäthyl-Sther-Hexan 1:3) wodurch reines 4-Cyclohexyl-l- (6-methyl-6-methoxy-heptanyl-2-oxy)-benzol erhalten wurde.

Die Schale wurde dann mit einem Siebdeckel zugedeckt.
- Nach ca. 10 Tagen, d.h., sobald die Kontrolltiere die Adulth"äutung vollzogen hatten, wurden'die Versuchstiere nach der Zahl der Normaladulten untersucht.
- Die Verbindungen gemäss den Beispielen 1 bis 3 zeigten gute Wirkung im obigen Test.
- Beispiel 5, Kontaktwirkung auf Herdes aegypti Larven In einem Becher enthaltend eine Lösung der Aktivsubstanz (Konzentration 5 ppm) wurden ungefähr 20 2-tägige Larven der Gelbfiebermücke (Aedes aegypti) angesetzt.
- Der Becher wurde dann mit einem Siebdeckel zugedeckt.
- Nachdem die Kontrolltiere ihre Adulthäutung vollzogen hatten wurden die Versuchstiere untersucht und die prozentuale Zahl der normalen Adulten im Vergleich zur Kontrolle bestimmt.
- Die Verbindungen gemäss den Beispielen .1 bis 3 zeigten gute Wirkung im obigen Test.

C1-C4-Alkoxy, R4 Wasserstoff, Halogen oder Methyl, R5 Wasserstoff oder R3 und R5
zusammen eine Kohlenstoff-Kohlenstoff-Bindung oder eine Sauerstoffbrücke, R6 Wasserstoff
oder Methyl, R7 Cyclohexyl oder die Gruppe
oder
worin R8 Wasserstoff, Halogen, C1-C4-Alkyl oder C1-C4-Alkoxy und Rg Wasserstoff
oder n-Propyl bedeuten, Y -CH2-,
CH2 -O-CH2- , -CH=CH- , -N=N- oder direkte Bindung und m und n je die Zahlen 0 oder
1 bedeuten, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man eine Verbindung der Formel
mit einer Verbindung der Formel
in Gegenwart einer Base umsetzt, worin R1 bis R7, Y, m und n die oben angegebene
Bedeutung haben X für Chlor, Brom oder Jod und M für Wasserstoff oder für ein Metall
stehen, wobei im Falle Y=-OCH2-, R3 und R5 Wasserstoff oder zusammen eine Kohlenstoff-Kohlenstoffbindung
bedeuten.
20. Verfahren zur Herstellung von Verbindungen der Formel
worin R1 Wasserstoff, Halogen, Cl-C4-Alkyl, Vinyl oder Aethinyl, R2 Wasserstoff,
Halogen, Methyl oder Aethyl, R4 Wasserstoff, Halogen oder Methyl, R6 Wasserstoff
oder Methyl, R7 Cyclohexyl oder die Gruppe
oder
worin R8 Wasserstoff, Halogen, C1-C4-Alkyl oder C1-C4-Alkoxy und R0 Wasserstoff
oder n-Propyl bedeuten, Y
-O-CH2- , -CH2O-, -CH=CH-, -N=N- oder eine direkte Bindung und m und n je die Zahlen
0 oder 1 bedeuten, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man eine Verbindung der Formel
worin R1> R2> R4, R6, R7, Y, m und n die oben angegebene Bedeutung haben,
epoxydiert.
21. Verfahren zur Herstellung von Verbindungen der Formel
worin R1 Wasserstoff, Halogen, C1-C4-Alkyl, Vinyl oder Aethinyl,
R2 Wasserstoff, Halogen, Methyl oder Aethyl, R4 Wasserstoff, Halogen oder Methyl,
R3 Wasserstoff und R5 Halogen oder R3 Halogen und R5 Wasserstoff, R6 Wasserstoff
oder Methyl, R7 Cyclohexyl oder die Gruppe

0 oder 1 bedeuten, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man an eine Verbindung der Formel
worin R1, R2, R4, R6, R7, Y, m und n die oben angegebene Bedeutung
haben, Halogenwasserstoff addiert.
22. Verfahren zur Herstellung von Verbindungen der Formel
worin R1 Wasserstoff, Halogen, C1-C4-Alkyl, Vinyl oder Aethinyl, R2 Wasserstoff,
Halogen, Methyl oder Aethyl, R4 Wasserstoff, Halogen oder Methyl, R6 Wasserstoff
oder Methyl, R7 Cyclohexyl oder die Gruppe
der
worin R8 Wasserstoff, Halogen, C1-C4-Alkyl oder C1-C4-Alkoxy und R9 Wasserstoff
oder n-Propyl bedeuten, Y -CH2-,
-OCH2- -CH2O-, -CH=CH- , -N=N- oder
direkte Bindung und mund n
je die Zahlen 0 oder 1 bedeuten, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man eine Verbindung
der Formel
worin R1, R2, R4, R6,R7, Y, m und n die oben angegebene Bedeutung haben, in Gegenwart
eines Katalysators hydriert.
23. Verfahren zur Herstellung von Verbindungen der Formel
worin R1 Wasserstoff, Halogen, C1-C4-Alkyl, Vinyl oder Aethinyl, R2 Wasserstoff,
Halogen, Methyl oder Aethyl, Wasserstoff, Halogen, Methyl oder h -C4-A1-koxy, R4
Wasserstoff, Halogen oder Methyl,
R5 Wasserstoff oder R3 und R5
zusammen eine Kohlenstoff-Kohlenstoff-Bindung oder eine Sauerstoffbrücke, R6 Wasserstoff
oder Methyl, R7 Cyclohexyl oder die Gruppe
R8
oder
worin R8 Wasserstoff, Halogen, C1-C4-Alkyl oder.
C1-C4-Alkoxy und R9 Wasserstoff oder n-Propyl bedeuten und m und
n je die Zahlen 0 oder 1 bedeuten, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man eine Verbindung
der Formel R7-CH2X mit einer Verbindung der Formel
worin R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, m und n die oben angegebene Bedeutung haben, R3 und
R5 jedoch zusammen keine Epoxidgruppe bilden, M für Wasserstoff oder ein Metall
steht und X Chlor, Brom oder Jod bedeutet, umsetzt
24. Verfahren
zur Herstellung von Verbindungen der Formel
worin R1 Wasserstoff, Halogen, Cl-C4-Alkyl, Vinyl oder Aethinyl, R2 Wasserstoff,
Halogen, Methyl oder Aethyl, R3 Wasserstoff, Halogen, Methyl oder Cl-C4-Alkoxy,
R4 Wasserstoff, Halogen oder Methyl, R5 Wasserstoff oder R3 und Rs zusammen eine
Kohlenstoff-Kohlenstoff-Bindung oder eine Sauerstoffbrücke, R6 Wasserstoff oder
Methyl, R7 Cyclohexyl oder die Gruppe

oder
worin R8 Wasserstoff, Halogen, C1-C4-Alkyl oder C1-C4-Alkoxy und R9 Wasserstoff
oder n-Propyl bedeuten und
m und n je die Zahlen 0 oder 1 bedeuten,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man eine Verbindung der Formel
mit einer Verbindung der Formel R7OM worin R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, m und n die
oben angegebene Bedeutung haben, X für Chlor, Brom oder Jod und M für ein Metall
oder Wasserstoff stehen, umsetzt.
25. Verfahren zur Herstellung von Verbindungen der Formel
worin R1 Wasserstoff, Halogen, C1-C4-Alkyl, Vinyl oder Aethinyl,
R2 Wasserstoff, Halogen, Methyl oder Aetllyl, R'3 C1-C4-Alkyl, R4 Wasserstoff, Halogen
oder Methyl, R6 Wasserstoff oder Methyl, R7 Cyclohexyl oder die Gruppe

oder
worin R8 Wasserstoff, Halogen, C1-C4-Alkyl oder Cl-C4-Alkoxy und R@ Wasserstoff
oder n-Propyl bedeuten, Y CII2
-OCH2- , -CH20- , -CH=CH- -N=N- oder direkte Bindung und m und n je die Zahlen 0
oder 1 bedeuten, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man eine Verbindung der Formel
mit einer Verbindung der Formel R'3OH in Gegenwart eine Quecksilber-II-Salzes
reagieren lässt und anschliessend das Zwischenprodukt mit einem Reduktionsmittel
in Gegenwart vom Alkalihydroxyd und Wasser behandelt, worin R1, R2, R4, R6, R7>
Y, m und n die oben angegebene Bedeutung haben und R'3 für Cl-G4-Alkyl steht.
26. Verfahren zur Herstellung von Verbindungen der Formel
worin R1 Wasserstoff, Halogen, Cl-C4-Alkyl, Vinyl oder Aethinyl, R2 Wasserstoff,
Halogen, Methyl oder Aethyl, R'3 C1-C4-AlkyI, R4 Wasserstoff, Halogen oder Methyl,
R6 Wasserstoff oder Methyl, R7 Cyclohexyl oder die Gruppe
R8 8 oder
worin R8 Wasserstoff, Halogen, C1-C4-Alkyl oder C1-C4-Alkoxy und
R@ Wasserstoff oder n-Propyl bedeuten, Y -CH2- ,
-OCH2--CH20-, -CH=CH- , -N=N- oder direkte Bindung und m und n je die Zahlen 0 oder
1 bedeuten, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man eine Verbindung der Formel
mit einer Verbindung der Formel R13X in Gegenwart einer starken Base umsetzt, worin
R13 C1-C4-Alkyl bedeutet und X für Chlor, Brom oder Jod steht.
27. Schädlingsbekämpfungsmittel, welche als Wirkstoff eine Verbindung
der Formel
worin R1 Wasserstoff, Halogen, C1-C4-Alkyl, Vinyl oder Aethinyl,
R2 Wasserstoff, Halogen, Methyl oder Aethyl, R3 Wasserstoff, Halogen, Methyl oder
C1-C4-Alkoxy, R4 Wasserstoff, Halogen oder Methyl, R5 Wasserstoff oder R3 und R5
zusammen eine Kohlenstoff-Kohlenstoff-Bindung oder eine Sauerstoffbrücke, R6 Wasserstoff
oder Methyl, R7 Cyclohexyl oder die Gruppe
oder
worin R8 Wasserstoff, Halogen, Cl-C4-Alkyl oder C1-C4-Alkoxy und R9 Wasserstoff
oder n-Propyl bedeuten, Y -CH,-,
-CH2O- , -O-CH2- , -CH=CH- , -N=N- oder direkte Bindung und m und n je die' Zahlen
0 oder 1 bedeuten, und geeignete Träger und/oder Verteilungsmittel enthalten.
28. Mittel gemäss Anspruch 27, welche als Wirkstoff eine Verbindung
gemäss einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 18 enthalten.
29. Verwendung von Verbindungen der Formel
worin R1 Wasserstoff, Halogen, Cl-C4-Alkyl, Vinyl oder Aethinyl, R2 Wasserstoff,
Halogen, Methyl oder Aethyl, R3 Wasserstoff, Halogen, Methyl oder C1-C4-Alkoxy,
.R4 Wasserstoff, Halogen oder Methyl, R5 Wasserstoff oder R3 und R5 zusammen eine
Kohlenstoff-Kohlenstoff-Bindung oder eine Sauerstoffbrllcke, R6 Wasserstoff oder
Methyl, R7 Cyclohexyl oder die Gruppe
oder
worin R8 Wasserstoff, Halogen, C1-C4-Alkyl oder C1-C4-Alkoxy und
R9 Wasserstoff oder n-Propyl bedeuten, Y -CH2-,
-CH2O- , -O-CH2- , -CH=CH- , -N=N- oder direkte Bindung und m und n je die Zahlen
0 oder 1 bedeuten, zur Bekämpfung von Insekten.
