4. Die Verwendung der Farbstoffe gemäß Ansprüchen 1 und 2 zum Färben von Textilmaterial
aus Celluloseestern, Polyestern, Polyamiden oder Acrylnitrilpolymerisaten sowie zum Färben von
Kunststoffen in der Masse.

Außer den schon einzeln genannten Resten seien als Substituenten beispielsweise genannt: Tür R1 und
R2 Methyl, Äthyl, n- oder i-Propyl, n- oder i-Butyl, /J-Methoxyäthyl, 0-Äthoxyäthyl, /3-Acetoxyäthyl,
p-Chloräthyl, /J-Carbomethoxyäthyl, /S-Carboäthoxyäthyl,
/f-Carbobutoxyäthyl, /S-Methoxypropyl, ß-Äthoxypropyl,
ß- Methoxy-y-chlorpropyl oder /f-Acetoxypropyl.
Zusammen mit dem Stickstoff bedeuten R1 und R2
z. B. den Rest des Pyrrolidine, Piperidins, Morpholins, Piperazins oder N-Methylpiperazins.
Reste R3 sind neben den bereits genannten: Carbamoyl,
N-Methylcarbamoyl, N-Äthyl-, N-Butyl-,
Ν,Ν-Dimethyl- oder Diäthylcarbamoyl sowie die entsprechenden Sulfamoylreste, Carbomethoxy, Carboäthoxy
oder Carbobutoxy.
Reste Y sind im einzelnen neben den bereits genannten z. B. Carbomethoxy, Carboäthoxy, Carbobutoxy,
Methylsulfonyl.Äthylsulfonyl, Phenyisulfonyl oder durch Chlor, Methyl, Methoxy oder Alkoxy
substituiertes Phenyisulfonyl, Carbamoyl, N-Alkyl- oder Ν,Ν-Dialkylcarbamoyl, wie Diäthyl-, Äthyl-.
Butyl-, iso-Octyl-, Methyl-, Dimethyl-, Dipropyl-, Dibutyl- oder N-Methyl-N-butylcarbamoyl, Carbonsäureanilid,
Cyclohexylcarbamoyl, Benzylcarbamoyl. Carbonsäure-pyrrolidid, -piperidid, -morpholid,
-piperazid oder -N-methylpiperazid sowie die entsprechenden Sulfamoylresle, Phenyl, Methyl-, Chlor-,
in der R* Alkyl mit I bis 4 C-Atomen, vorzugsweise Metnyl oder Äthyl, R5 Wasserstoff, Methyl, Chlor
oder Cyan und Y1 Phenyl, Cyanphenyl, Cyan, Methylsulfonyl,
Phenyisulfonyl, Carbamoyl, Sulfamoyl, Carbomethoxy oder Carboäthoxy bedeutet und n, R,
X und A(i die angegebene Bedeutung haben. Bevorzugt
für Y1 ist Cyan.
Die neuen fluoreszierenden Farbstoffe sind von hoher Brillanz, die Farbtöne liegen im Bereich von
orange bis violett. Sie eignen sich zum Färben von Textilmaterial aus Polyamiden, Celluloseestern, Acrylnitrilpolymerisaten
(« = 1) und Polyestern sowie zum Färben von Kunststoffen in der Masse.
Zur Herstellung der Verbindungen der Formel I kann man Iminocumarine der Formel II

umsetzen und die entstehenden Verbindungen dei Formel I mit η = 0gegebenenfalls quaternieren. R1,R2
R3 und Y haben dabei die angegebenen Bedeutungen
und B ist Cyan oder Carbalkoxy, insbesondere mi 2 bis 5 C-Atomen. Iminocumarine der Formel II sine
aus der DT-OS 16 19 567 bekannt.
Zweckmiißigerweise nimmt man die Umsetzung ii einem Lösungsmittel bei Temperaturen zwischei
50 und 200°C, vorzugsweise zwischen 100 und 150 ( vor, wobei man eine Säure oder vorzugsweise Bass
z. B. in katalytischen Mengen, zusetzen kann.
Als Lösungsmittel eignen sich besonders polar organische Solventien, z. B. Glykole und Glykoläthei
wie Äthylenglykol oder Äthylenglykolmonomethyläther, Chlorbenzol, Dichlorbenzol, Trichlorbenzol,
Dimethylformamid oder N-Methylpyrrolidon sowie
Acetanhydrid, gegebenenfalls unter Zusatz von Alkaliacetat oder Mischungen von Lösungsmitteln.
Als Basen kann man z.B. Amine, wie Äthyldiisopropylamin,
Triäthylamin, Piperidin, Pyridin, Pyrrolidin oder Morpholin, Natrium- oder Kaliumcarbonat
oder -methylat zusetzen.
Als Säuren eignen sich beispielsweise p-Toluolsulfonsäure,
Benzolsulfonsäure, Phosphorsäure, Tetrafluoroborsäure
oder Salzsäure. Zur Herstellung der quaternierten Verbindungen der Formel I mit η = 1
kann man die Verbindungen mit η = 0 nach üblichen Methoden quaternieren. Quaternierungsmittel sind
beispielsweise die Ester starker Säuren, wie Methyljodid, Dimethylsulfat, Diäthylsulfat, p-Toluolsulfonsäuremethyl-
oder -äthylester, Benzylchlorid oder Benzylbromid, Epoxide, wie Äthylen- oder Propylenoxid
oder Acrylsäurederivate, wie Acrylnitril, Acrylsäuremethyl-, -äthyl- oder -butylester.
Zweckmäßigerweise wird die Quaternierung in Lösungsmitteln, wie Chlorkohlenwasserstoffen oder
Kohlenwasserstoffen, bei erhöhter Temperatur vorgenommen. Einzelne Lösungsmittel sind beispielsweise
Chloroform, Äthylenchlorid, Chlorbenzol, o-Dichlorbenzol, Toluol oder Xylol.
Man kann auch an Stelle der Lösungsmittel einen Überschuß der Quaternierungsmittel verwenden. Eine
Quaternierung in Wasser ist ebenfalls möglich.
Sofern nicht anders vermerkt, beziehen sich Angaben über Teile und Prozente in den folgenden Beispielen
auf das Gewicht.

o-Dichlorbenzol 1 Stunde auf 1200C erhitzt, danach
auf 20cC abkühlt, den Niederschlag absaugt, mit
40 Teilen Petroläther wäscht und trocknet. Die Ausbeute beträgt 6,5 Teile, Schmelzpunkt 2090C.

erhält man, wenn man wie im Beispiel 1 verfahrt, jedoch an Stelle von 3-Benzimidazolyl-(2')-7-diäthylamino
- 2 - iminocumarin 4,5 Teile 3 - Benzimidazolyl-(2')-7-dimethylamino-2-iminocumarin
verwendet. Die Ausbeute beträgt 5 Teile, Schmelzpunkt 270 bis 272CC.

erhält man, wenn man 5 Teile 3-Benzimidazolyl-(2')-7-diäthylamino-2-iminocumarin
und 1 Teil Malonsäuredinitril in 45 Teilen Glykolmonoäthyläther 2 Stunden unter Rückflußkühlung kocht, sodann auf
5°C abkühlt, die ausgefallenen Kristalle absaugt, mit 10 Teilen Methanol wäscht und trocknet. Die
Ausbeute beträgt 3,2 Teile, der Schmelzpunkt liegt bei 275° C.
erhält man, wenn man 4,25 Teile des Farbstoffes au: Beis piel 3 mit 5,6 Teilen Dimethylsulfat und 130 Teiler
o-Dichlorbenzol 3 Stunden lang auf 1200C erhitzt
dann auf 00C abkühlt, die ausgefallenen Kristall!
absaugt, mit 10 Teilen Petroläther wäscht und trock net. Ausbeute: 6 Teile, Schmelzpunkt: 220 bis 225°C

0,66 Teile Malonsäuredinitril in 50Teilen Glykolmonoälhyläthcr
1 Stunde am Rückfluß kocht, dann auf OC abkühlt, mit 10 Teilen Äthanol wäscht und
trocknet. Ausbeute: 3 Teile. Schmelzpunkt: 312 C.

erhitzt."anschließend auf 5"C abkühlt, 250g Eis zugibt, mit 37 Teilen 50%iger NaOH auf pH = 7,5
stelll. die ausgefallene Substanz absaugt, mit 500 Teilen Wasser wäscht und trocknet. Ausbeute; 5,7 g. Schmelzpunkt
272 bis 275 C.

erhält man, wenn man 3.8 Teile des Farbstoffs aus Beispiel 6 in 50 Teilen o-Dichlorbenzol und 2.25 Teilen
Dimethylsulfat l'/2 Stunden auf 90C erhitzt, anschließend
auf 200C abkühlt, 50 Teile Petroläther 40-60
zugibt, die ausgefallene Substanz absaugt und trocknet. Ausbeute: 4,1 Teile, Schmelzpunkt: 245C unter Zersetzung.
Analog der in den Beispielen beschriebenen Arbeitsweise erhält man auch die in der folgenden Tabelle
durch Angabe der Substituenten charakterisierten Farbstoffe:

- Paten tansprürhe:
1. Farbstoffe der Benzopyranreihe der Formeln.(Αθ),in der R Methyl, Äthyl, Benzyl, 0-Hydroxyaryl oder -propyl, yi-Cyanäthyl oder /f-Carbalkoxyäthyl, R1 ein Wasserstoffatom, eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 4 Kohlenstoffatomen, eine gegebenenfalls durch Cyan, Alkoxy, Chlor, Brom, Carboxyl, Carbalkoxy, Carbonamid oder Acetoxy substituierte Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 4 Kohlenstoffatomen, eine Cyclohexyl-, Benzyl-, Phenyläthyl- oder Phenylgruppe, R2 ein Wasserstoffatom, eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 4 Kohlenstoffatomen oder eine gegebenenfalls durch Cyan, Alkoxy, Chlor, Brom, Carboxyl, Carbalkoxy, Carbonamid oder Acetoxy substituierte Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 4 Kohlenstoffatomen oder R1 und R2 zusammen mit dem Stickstoff den Rest eines 5- oder 6gliedrigen heterocyclischen Ringes oder R2 zusammen mit dem Stickstoff den Rest eines in ortho-Stellung zum Stickstoff ankondensierten 5- oder 6-Rings der FormelCH3 CH3N — C — CH2 — CH —R1 CH3— N — CH — CH2 —R1 CH3
