Description

Gelenkpfanne herausgelöst werden. Außerdem findet keine optimale Abnützung der Gelenkkugel in der Gelenkpfanne statt.
Die DE-AS 18 06 323 beschreibt eine Gelenkpfanne für eine Hüftprothese nach dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs, deren Rand in zwei sich schneidenden Ebenen liegt, derart, daß dieser zwei vorspringende Kanten aufweist. Es soll hierdurch die Gefahr von Ausrenkungen verhindert werden, was jedoch nicht optimal möglich ist.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zu Grunde die Gelenkpfanne derart zu gestalten, daß bei Anordnung des dicksten Wandabschnittes im Bereich der größten Gelenkbelastung eine optimale Halterung und Führung der Gelenkkugel ohne Beeinträchtigung der Bewegungsmöglichkeiten erzielt wird.
Diese Aufgabe wird durch die Merkmale im kennzeichnenden Teil des Patentanspruchs gelöst.
Die spezielle Gestaltung der Lage der Innen- zur schen halbmondartig geformten Teil 3c der Außenfläche 3. Dies bedeutet, daß der Rand der Pfanne relativ zur Symmetrieachse 5 abgeschrägt ist. Auf jeden Fall ist diese Form vorteilhaft, weil der Teil 3c und die zugeordnete Randschräge so angeordnet werden kann, daß er die volle Ableitung des Oberschenkelknochens bewirkt, bevor der Oberschenkelknochenhals an der Pfanne anliegt, während noch der volle Eingriff des Oberschenkelkopfes in der Pfanne bewirkt wird.
Betrachtungen der Fig. 1 zeigen tatsächlich, daß der Rand 10 der Pfanne, bei einer gängigen bevorzugten Form, einen ebenen, radial zur Symmetrieachse 5 liegenden Teil 10a und einen weiteren ebenen, radial zur Symmetrieachse 4 liegenden Teil lOö aufweist.
Eine verbleibende Eigenschaft der dargestellten Pfanne ist das Vorsehen eines Markierungsdrahtes 11, der in eine Nut rund um die Pfannenaußenfläche eingreift.
Dieser Draht ist gewählt, um durch Röntgenstrahlen-
Außenfläche und des Randbereiches führt zu einer ίο prüfung auffindbar zu sein und dadurch die Relativlagen
Gelenkpfanne mit sehr günstigen Eigenschaften.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung soll unter
Bezugnahme auf die Figuren der Zeichnung erläutert werden. Es zeigt

der Pfanne und des Oberschenkelknochenkopfes nach dem Einsetzen anzuzeigen. Der Markierer ist vorzugsweise in einer tangential zur Pfanneninnenfläche am geschlossenen Endbereich liegenden Ebene angeordnet, so daß das Durchdringen der Pfanne durch den Oberschenkelknochenkopf leichter angezeigt wird.

Claims (1)

  1. Patentanspruch:
    Gelenkpfanne für eine Hüftgelenkendoprothese mit einem halbkugelförmigen Bereich mit einer Außenfläche von symmetrischer Form in bezug auf eine erste die Außenfläche durchlaufende Symmetrieachse und einer Innenfläche von symmetrischer Form in bezug auf eine zweite die Innenfläche durchlaufende Symmetrieachse, die gegenüber der Außenfläche exzentrisch angeordnet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß die Symmetrieachsen (4,5) unter einem Winkel von etwa 20° winklig zueinander angeordnet sind, Die Gelenkpfanne 1 weist eine Innen- und Außenfläche 2 bzw. 3 auf, die Symmetrieachsen 4 und 5 haben. Die Innenfläche 2 hat einen halbkugelförmigen Bereich 2a, der sich in einen 'zylindrischen Randbereich 2b, 2c fortsetzt Die Außenfläche 3 hat einen halbkugelförmigen Bereich 3a, Teil 3b und einen Randbereich 3^ und der Bereich 3a und 36 weist ringförmige Nuten 6 auf. Gruppen von Nuten 6 sind durch weitere Nuten 8 miteinander verbunden.
    Der halbkugelförmige Bereich 2a der Innenfläche 2 weist einen Mittelpunkt 9 auf, der relativ zum Mittelpunkt 7 der Außenfläche exzentrisch angeordnet ist, um eine größere Wandstärke vorzusehen. Ebenfalls sind die Symmetrieachsen 4 und 5 gegenseitig geneigt, dß di dik Wd d f

    Innenfläche (2) in einem zylindrischen Randbereich 15 so daß die dickere Wandzone der Pfanne relativ zur (2b,2c) fortsetzt und Symmetrieachse 4 versetzt ist. Diese Versetzung trägt
    daß der die Innen- und Außenfläche (2 bzw. 3) der Erkenntnis Rechnung, daß die maximale Wahrverbincäende Rand (10) einen ebenen, radial zur scheinlichkeit des Durchdringens durch eine zugeordne-Symmetrieachse (5) liegenden Teil (1Oa^ and einen te Oberschenkelknocheneinrichtung in einer Position im weiteren ebenen, radial zur Symmetrieachse (4) 20 Bereich von 12° bis 15° von der Symmetrieachse 5 in liegenden Teil (106/aufweist. Der Rand der Gelenkpfanne liegt in sich diese Orientierung als chirurgisch vorteilhaft für das
    Erleichtern des Einsetzens erwiesen hat.
