Der industrielle Hydraulikölmarkt ist in einer stürmischen Entwicklung begriffen. Diese Entwicklung ist von dem Verlangen
nach besseren Schmiermitteleigenschaften begleitet. Spezielle Verbesserungen werden verlangt, .um mit dem Trend
in Richtung auf schärfere Betriebsbedingungen und einer besseren Verunreinigungskontrolle fertig zu werden. Als
Antwort auf diese Anforderungen hat die Forschung erhebliche Fortschritte beim Verbessern der Qualität der Antiabnutzungs-
und Antileckeigenschaften gemacht. Gegen Abnutzung widerstandsfähige öle können die Ausrüstungspro- bleme
und das durch hohe Drucke und Temperaturen, Stoß- Γ

belastungen, geringe Toleranzen usw. bedingte Versagen
verringern, Antilecköle können die unerwünschten Schmiermittelverluste
vermindern. Die letzteren öle setzen nicht nur den Ölverbrauch herab, sondern helfen die Verschmutzung
unserer natürlichen Gewässer in Grenzen zu halten. Die Wasserverschmutzung durch Industrieöle ist ein Problem,
das trotz Verbesserungsbemühungen durch die Industrie und trotz des Aufwendens großer Geldmittel nach wie
vor existiert, ölverschwendung wird nicht mit Absicht hervorgerufen.
In den meisten Fällen ist es ein Problem, das von den Betriebsleitungen erkannt ist und dem man unaufhörlich
zu begegnen sucht. Gewisse Industriemaschinen sind reich an Lecks und können nicht -wenn ihre normale
Produktionskapazität ausgenutzt wird- für Reparaturarbeiten stillgelegt werden.
Ul kann in die Abwässerleitungen eintreten, falls die
Lecks der Anlage einen direkten Abfluß ermöglichen. Eine andere Ursache der Wasserverschmutzung ergibt sich aus
der inneren Undichtigkeit der Anlage, wo öle mit dem Wasser oder löslichen Schneidöl-Kühlmitteln gemischt werden.
Wenn die Konzentration der Ölverunreinigung zu hoch wird, werden die Küh'leigenschaften zerstört und das Wasser oder
die löslichen Ölsysteme fließen ab.
Bisher sind die Wasser enthaltenden Gemische manchmal direkt in die Abwasserleitungen oder Ströme geleitet worden,
öl in den Strömen und Flüssen - wo immer es auch herrührt
- gestaltet die Wasserherstellung zur menschlichen

Es gibt viele Gesichtspunkte zur Kontrolle der Verschmutzung.
Diese Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen speziellen Bereich, und zwar auf den der Antileckhydrauliköle. Durch Herabsetzung
der Undichtigkeit an der Quelle kann die ölverschwendung weitgehend herabgesetzt werden. Diese neue Klasse von
Hydraulikölen braucht jedoch nicht in einem solchen Ausmaß auf Kosten anderer Eigenschaften zu gehen, daß der Schmiermittel-
und Maschinenschutz nicht mehr ausreichend ist. ·
Das vorliegende Antileckhydrauliköl hilft die Verunreinigungen unter Kontrolle zu halten und ist auch völlig vom
Standpunkt anderer Leistungsanforderungen zufriedenstellend.
Antilecköle sind Schmiermittel, die speziell dazu bestimmt sind, die Undichtigkeit herabzusetzen. Das Wort "Undichtigkeit"
wird hier nur in Bezug auf unerwünschte Schmiermittelverluste verwendet. Viele Vorgänge erfordern einen kontrollierten
Schmiermittelverbrauch, beispielsweise sich drehende Wellen usw.. Gegen Abnutzung widerstandsfähige a
öle (AW) vereinigen in sich die ausgezeichnete Stabilität und die gegen.Rost widerstandsfähigen Eigenschaften von
Industrieturbinenölen.
Der Bedarf an diesen ölen steigt wegen des Ansteigens
der Häufigkeit des Versagens beweglicher Pumpenanlagen.
Überlastungen an Maschinen antreibenden Pumpen, die mit konventionellen Turbinenölen geschmiert werden, führen zum ,-■
Versagen.

Die■Erfahrung hat gezeigt, daß Pumpen, die mit MS-ölen geschmiert
wurden, "unter gleichwertigen Bedingungen 1o bis 1oo mal solange arbeiten wie konventionelle Turbinenöle."
Getriebeöle (crankcase oils) sind jedoch keine ideale Lösung für innerbetriebliche Systeme. Diese fixierten Anlagen
sind Gegenstand von Wasserverunreinigungen. Die hohen Detergenzeigenschaften von Getriebeölen machten es meistens
unmöglich, das Wasser aus einem verunreinigten System zu entfernen. Dieses läßt das Verlangen nach neuen AW-Ölen
berechtigt erscheinen.
Ein verbessertes durch ein Gel verdicktes Antileckhydrauliköl
enthält eine wirksame Menge einer Aluminiumseife (beispielsweise 0,1 bis 1 % Lithiumstearat) oder eine Aluminiumseife
(beispielsweise 0,5 bis 2 % Aluminiumstearat)
oder Gemische derartiger Seifen sowie ein Basisöl mit einer Viskosität von 60 - 900 SUS bei 37,8°C und einem ■
Anilinpunkt von 65,6 - 76,7°^. Das Basisöl ist ein Gemisch,
das mindestens aus einem wasserstoffraffinierten naphthenischen Öl mit einer Viskosität von 40'bis 12000 SUS bei
°37ϊ8°0 besteht. Vorzugsweise enthält das Öl mindestens
noch ein anderes Öl mit einer Viskosität von 40 - 12000 SUS, nämlich ein wasserstoffraffiniertes naphthenisches
öl und/oder wasserstoffraffiniertes paraffinisches Öl und/ .
oder naphthenisches Destillat und/oder naphthensäurefreies naphthenisches Destillat und/oder paraffinisches Destillat
und/oder mit Lösungsmitteln raffiniertes paraffinisches Destillat. Das Hydrauliköl kann auch eine oder mehrere
der folgenden Bestandteile enthalten: ein Dispergierungs- '

mittel und/oder ein Antirostmittel (beispielsweise 0,02
— 2 ί?έ, typisch. 0,2 % neutrales oder uberbasisch.es Bariumpetroleumsulfonat),
ein Antioxydationsmittel ("beispielsweise 0,05 bis 1 % eines vom Amintyp oder butyliertes p-Kresol),
ein Antischaummittel (beispielsweise 0,05 bis 1 % eines vom Siliciumtyp), ein Antiabnutzungsmittel (beispielsweise
0,15 %, typisch 0,3 bis 2 % Zinkdialkyldithiophosphat
oder Tricresylphosphat), ein Metallentaktivator
(beispielsweise Dioctyldithiothiadiazol) und ein Alkylbernsteinsäurederivat.
Das Hydrauliköl kann gute Antiabnutzungs- und Antileckleistungen
und eine gute, hydrolytische Stabilität und Oxydationsstabilität beim ASTM-D 94-3-Turbinenölstabilitätstest (TOST)
aufweisen.
Die Basisöle enthalten vorzugsweise weniger als 80 ppm basischen Stickstoff, bevorzugter weniger als 30 ppm (typisch
0 bis 10 ppm) und können solche sein, wie sie in den vorher zitierten Patentanmeldungen von Mills und anderen beschrieben
sind. Bevorzugter sind Gemische von zwei oder mehreren wasserstoffraffinierten naphthenisehen ölen (beispielsweise
ein Gemisch aus einem 100 SUS (bei 37»8°C) wasserstoffraffinierten naphthenisehen öl und einem 2500 SUS (bei
37,80C) wasserstoffraffinierten öl).
Die D 9^3-Testleistung kann durch Auswahl der Komponenten
des gemischten Basisöles verbessert werden (beispielsweise kann die Zugabe von 5 % eines naphtheneäurefreien naphthenischen
Destillates zu einem öl, das 0,1 bis 1 % Lithiumstearat
enthält, und ein Gemisch aus 25 % 100 SUS und 75 %

Ein Zusatz von etwa 1 Gew.-Teil Natriumseife zu jeweils
10 Teilen einer anderen Seife kann auch, die D 94-3-Leistung
verbessern.
Bei dem Hydrauliköl der vorliegenden Erfindung wird die Undichtigkeitsherabsetzung erreicht, indem dem Schmiermittel
die Fähigkeit verliehen wird, einen guten Kautschukverklebungszustand
beizubehalten und kleine Lecks mit
•verzögernden Materialien zu verstopfen (beispielsweise ■
Lithium- oder Aluminiumseifen oder Polymere). Betriebsversuche sind durchgeführt worden, um die Leistung der
Antileckhydrauliköle der vorliegenden Erfindung mit den
derzeitigen Standardprodukten zu vergleichen. Die Schmiermittelverluste wurden um 88 % durch die leckwiderstandsfähigen
Formulierungen vermindert. Diese Antileckhydrauliköle der vorliegenden Erfindung haben gute Gesamteigenschaften
und werden in vielen Typen von Betriebsanlagen verwendet.
™ Das Kohlenwasserstoffbasisöl kann auch ein paraffinisches
Destillat mit einem niedrigen Stickstoffgehalt oder ein mit Lösungsmitteln raffiniertes öl (beispielsweise extrahiertes
Duo-Sol), ein wasserstoffraffiniertes paraffinisches
Destillat oder Raffinat, einen Viskositätsindexverbesserer (beispielsweise hochmolekulares Polybuten oder
ein Acylat), ein polycyclisch.es aromatisches Konzentrat
Jk (wie Eückführöl), um die 335 UV-Absorption des Basismateriales
einzustellen, und ein nicht-raffiniertes naphthe-

nisches Destillat oder ein naphthensäurefreies naphthenisches
Destillat enthalten; Das Öl oder das Olgemisch wird vorzugsweise so ausgewählt, daß ein Basisöl mit der gewünschten
Viskosität, einer UV-Absorption von 335 m /ι
(d.h. einer 335 UV-Absorption) im Bereich von 0,01 bis 0,4-, bevorzugter 0,02 - 0,2, einem Anilinpunkt von 65»6
- 76,7°C und einer ausreichenden D 94-3-Leistung des Basisöls
plus Gelierungsmittel oder des Basisöles plus Gelierungsmittel plus Additive erhalten wird.
Die bevorzugte, einem gegebenen Basisöl zuzusetzende Menge an Gelierungsmittel kann aus einer experimentell erhaltenen
"Seife in Öl-KurveM bestimmt werden. D.h. verschiedene
Seifenmengen werden den Basisölproben zugesetzt (die auch alle anderen Additive erhalten können) und die Viskosität
der Seife-Öl-Proben wird bestimmt. Die Ergebnisse werden als Viskositäts-Konzentrations-Kurve aufgetragen. Auf
einer solchen Kurve befindet sich ein Punkt, wo die Viskosität plötzlich stark ansteigt. Das ist die minimale Seifenkonzentration,
die in das öl als Antileckschutz eingebracht ä
werden sollte. Im allgemeinen sollen etwa 0,1 % mehr Seife, als diese minimale Konzentration beträgt, in das Öl eingebracht
werden. Die maximale Menge an Seife (oder an anderen Gelierungsmitteln) ist die, wo die Lösung "lumps-up" oder
inhomogen wird.
Um die Undichtigkeit der Anlage herabzusetzen, ist es wichtig,
daß die elastomeren Verklebungen und Dichtungen ein leicht positives Anschwellen beibehalten und biegsam blei- *

ben< Schrumpfung und Härtung ermöglichen dem öl die TJm- ·
leitung. Gewisse Basisöle können dazu beitragen, die Verklebungen bei vollem Betrieb zu erhalten.
Ein guter Beurteilungstest besteht im Anilinpunkt, (ASTM D 611), für den Fall, daß ein Basismaterial die am üblichsten
verwendeten Verklebungen, d.h. Buna N und Neopren, richtig konditioniert. Dieser Test mißt die Löslichkeitstemperatur
des Anilins und des Schmiermittels. Der Anilinpunkt ist daher ein Maß für das Lösungsvermögen.
Je höher der Anilinpunkt ist, um so geringer ist das Lösungsvermögen des Schmiermittels. Die für das prozentuale
Anschwellen von Buna N- und Neopren-Verklebungen erhaltenen Werte für eine Reihe von 250 SUS (bei 37,8°C) Ölen
mit einem'Anilinpunkt von 65,6 bis 1100C zeigen, daß
- um nur ein geringes positives Anschwellen mit den getesteten Verklebungen zu erhalten - das Basisöl einen
Anilinpunkt zwischen 65,6 bis 76,7°c aufweisen sollte. Schmiermittel, die größtenteils paraffinischer Struktur
sind, haben hohe Anilinpunkte und lassen den Kautschuk schrumpfen und machen ihn hart. Dieses ermöglicht dem
Schmiermittel zu lecken. Falls der Anilinpunkt unterhalb von 65,6°C liegt, findet andererseits oft ein übermäßiges
Anschwellen statt, und die Verklebung kann durch die kautschukartige Oberfläche zerschnitten und zerrissen werden.
Dabei wird ermöglicht, das Schmiermittel zu umgehen. Dieser Zusammenhang l'äßt sich nicht notwendigerweise auf
Schmiermittel anwenden, die verklebungskonditionierende

•Neben der Verwendung eines Basisöles, das die KautschukverkXebungen
und Dichtungen passend konditioniert, kann "auch die Undichtigkeit herabgesetzt werden, indem kleine
Öffnungen mit leckverzögernden Materialien begrenzt werden.
Das leckverzögernde Mittel muß sorgfältig ausgewählt werden,
damit andere Eigenschaften des Schmiermittels nicht -beeinträchtigt werden. Es gibt zwei Basistypen von Antileckadditiven,
die gegenwärtig verwendet werden. Der erste ist der Polymertyp, der Materialien mit Molekulargewichten
umfaßt, die größer als mehrere lootausend sind (beispiels^
weise Polybuten). Der zweite Typ umfaßt Gelierungsmittel
(beispielsweise organische Salze mehrwertiger Metalle oder "Seifen"), die ein Molekulargewicht von etwa 300 haben
können.
Es ist gefordert worden, daß die Polymermaterialien eine steifere Struktur im Gebiet niedriger Schergeschwindigkeiten
zeigen, wie die Windungen einer undichten Kupplung. Die Viskosität nimmt daher zu und der Fluß von der Hochdruckzone
wird behindert.
Es wird angenommen, daß die Gelierungsmittel in verschiedener Y/eise wirken. D.h. sie bauen Fasern auf oder rufen
Stockungen in den kleinen Öffnungen hervor, verstopfen sie dabei und verhindern den Flüssigkeitsfluss.
Die beiden Antileckadditivtypen schlagen sich zeitweise nieder, wenn sie Pump-, Absperrvorgängen usw. unterworfen

werden. Bleibende Scherverluste wurden auch "bis zu einem
gewissen Grade untersucht. Weil diese auftreten, ist die Anlage imstande, zufriedenstellend ohne Verstopfungsprobleme
zu arbeiten.
Es gibt keine bekannten Produkte, die vollständig die Undichtigkeit unterdrücken. Ein Grund dafür liegt darin,
daß die leckverzögernden Mittel, die verwendet werden können, durch andere Leistungscharakteristiken beschränkt
- sind. Die Antileckkomponente muß ein Material sein, das keine 5 Mikrom kleine Filter verstopft oder· mit einem
Servo-Ventilvorgang in Wechselwirkung tritt, wo Spielräume äußerst kritisch sind, Andere Eigenschaften des
Schmiermittels selbst, wie die Oxydationsstabilität, Schaumstabilität usw. müssen nicht geopfert werden.
Die Lecks schwanken beträchtlich hinsichtlich ihrer Grösse und Beschaffenheit. Die ¥/irksamkeit der Antileckhydrauliköle
wird von der Art des Lecks beeinflußt. Kleine Öffnungen können vollständig verschlossen werden, während große
öffnungen oder schlecht vorgenommene Verklebungen nicht in meßbarem Ausmaß beeinflußt werden können.
Die folgenden Beispiele erläutern die Erfindung. Alle Prozente sind Gewichtsprozente, und alle Viskositäten wurden
bei 37j80O bestimmt, wenn nichts anderes angegeben
wird.
Der beste Weg zur Bewertung neuer Formulierungen liegt in der jeweiligen Maschine, in der die Leckprobleine ange-

troffen werden. Es gibt zur Zeit noch keine Standardmethode, um die Antileckeigenschaften im Laboratorium
zu bestimmen. Eine Laboratoriumsmethode ist jedoch ausgedacht worden, die mit den praktischen Erfahrungen in Übereinstimmung
zu stehen scheint. Dieser Test ist brauchbar bei der Messung von guten gegen schlechten Antileckölen
oder Verbesserungen gegenüber einem gegebenen Vergle;Lchsöl.
Das Vergleichsöl kann beispielsweise ein rost- oder oxydationsinhibierendes (R&O) paraffinisches Hydraulik-Öl
sein. Dieses R&O-Vergleichsöl enthält alle die notwendigen
Additive, um eine gute Schmiermittelleistung zu garantieren, enthält aber keine leckverzögernden Mittel.
Die Apparatur, in der die Undichtigkeitseigenschaften gemessen
werden, ist eine ü-förmige Kombination aus 19,05
mm Eisennippeln, vereinigten Armen und Bögen. Sie werden miteinander verbunden, indem sie zu einer U-Form gebogen
und anschließend punktgeschweißt werden, um sie in einer
festgelegten Stellung zu halten. Das eine Ende des "U" wird abgeschnitten, das andere Ende wird mit einer Druckquelle
verbunden.
Die Prozedur verwendet eine 300 cnr Ölprobe'.
Das System wird mit Stickstoff unter einen Druck von 2,1 kg/cm gestellt und eine Stunde stehen gelassen. Das
Öl, das am Ende dieses Zeitraumes ausgetrieben worden war, wird gesammelt und gewogen.

angeben, ob das öl besser als ein anderes ist. Es kann
nicht das Ausmaß der zu schaffenden Verbesserung gezeigt werden. Nichts als praktische Erfahrungen können diese
Auskunft geben.
Die Einverleibung von passenden Polymeren in Hydrauliköle
bei Konzentrationen von 5 °/°t kann Schutz gegen Undichtigkeiten
schaffen. Wie aus Tabelle I zu ersehen ist, hat ein typisches Produkt, das ein hochmolekulares Butenpolymeres
enthält, auch gute Gesamteigenschaften. Die Basisöle, die naphtheneseher Natur sind, haben einen Anilinpunkt von
66,7°C und schaffen im allgemeinen eine gute Kautschukverklebungskonditionierung.
Wasserabscheidung, Schaumstabilität, Rostschutz sind alle akzeptabel. Die Oxydationsstabilität beträgt 1,25 Stunden, wenn sie nach der ASTM
D 94-3-Methode bestimmt wird. Die Widerstandsfähigkeit
gegenüber Undichtigkeit gemäß dem Labortest liegt etwa 4-1 % niedriger als die von normalem R&O-Hydrauliköl.
Zwei praktisch.6 Versuche wurden mit dem polymeren Antileckhydrauliköl
durchgeführt. Die Ergebnisse dieser Anlagenbewertungen sind in Tabelle II aufgeführt. In den zuerst aufgeführten
praktischen Versuchen wurden 3 Locher über einen Zeitraum von 2 Monaten an jeweils 3 separaten Betriebsstellen
betrieben.
Die Locher wurden zuerst mit dem S&O-Hydrauliköl betrieben,
um die Bezugsbasisdaten zu erhalten. Das polymere

Antilecköl wurde anschließend diesen gleichen Maschinen zugesetzt
und die Verbrauchscharakteristiken bestimmt. Wie ersichtlich ist, zeigen-die 3 Abschnitte Verbesserungen
von 4-6, 38 bzw. 5o %. Der zweite in Tabelle II aufgeführte
Versuch wurde auf der Gesamtbetriebsbasis durchgeführt.
Alle Mascninen, die R&O-Hydrauliköle verwendeten, wurden
auf ihren Verbrauch hin über einen Zeitraum von 6 Monaten untersucht. Die gleichen Maschinen wurden anschließend mit
dem polymeren Antileckhydrauliköl über einen gleichwertigen
6-MonatsZeitraum hinweg beschickt. Nach 1jährigem Versuch
.•wurde an dieser Anlage eine Herabsetzung im Schmiermittelverbrauch
von 28 % festgestellt.
Tabelle III führt 12 Maschinen beim zweiten Betriebsversuch auf, die die größte Undichtigkeit mit R&O-Hydrauliköl
aufwiesen; die Maschinen überdecken einen weiten Bereich der Operationen. Bei diesen Ausrüstungsteilen betrug
die Undichtigkeitsherabsetzung, die durch das polymere Antileckhydrauliköl hervorgerufen wurde, 39 %>· bedeutend
mehr als die für die Gesamtanlage erhaltenen Prozente.
Eine gute Undichtigkeitsherabsetzung wurde mit 1 bis 6 % Polybuten (typisch 2 %) erhalten.
Das polymere Antileckschmiormittel hatte nach den Betriebsversuchen nur die normale Abbaumenge ergeben. Filter- und
Ventilvorgänge waren völlig befriedigend. Die einzige Eigenschaft, die sich mehr als die des R&O-Hydrauliköls
verändert hatte, war die Viskosität. Der Polymerverlust durch Scherkräfte bewirkte einen Viskositätsabfall von

etwa Ίο %. Dieser Verlust hatte keine Leistungsprobleme
zur Folge.
Ein Antileckhydrauliköl wurde unter Verwendung von Lithiumstearafals
leckverzögerndes Mittel vom Geltyp kompoundiert.
Das Antileckhydraulikölgemisch vom Geltyp hatte eine SUS-Viskosität
von etwa 121,1 bei 31PiS0C und wurde aus einem
200 SUS (bei 37,8OG)-Basisöl hergestellt, das 56 ppm basischen
Stickstoff enthielt und erhalten wurde, indem 25 %
2400 SUS (bei 37S8°G) wasserstoffraffiniertes naphthenisches
öl und 75 % 100 SUS (bei 37,S°C) wasserstoff raffiniertes
naphthenisches Öl gemischt wurden. Beide wasserstoffraffinierten naphthenisclaeii Öle wurden aus einem naphthensäurefreien
naphthenisehen Destillat durch Hydrierung bei
329,40C, 84,3 kg/cm^ Druck von 80 %igem Wasserstoff, 0,2
LHSV mit einem vorsulfidierten Kicke 1-Molybdänoxyd-Katalysator
erhalten. Außer dem Basisöl enthielt das Hydrauliköl 0,25 % Lithiumstearat, 0,25 % eines Antioxydationsmittels
vom Amintyp (Dupont Ortho1eum), O5I % eines Entschäumungsmittels
(Dow Corning Silicone), 0,2 % eines neutralen Bariumpetroleumsulfonatantirostmittels und 0,7 c/° Zinkdialkyldithiophosphat
(Elco 114). Das Zinkdialkyldithiophosphat verleiht der Hydraulikflüssigkeit besonders
brauchbare Antiabnutzungs- und Antioxydationseigenschaften

und hat eine außerordentlich große hydrolytische Stabilität. Die Alkylgruppen dieses Additivs können beträchtlich
in Abhängigkeit vom Hersteller schwanken. Es können jedoch alle zur Zeit im Handel befindlichen Zinkdialkyldithiophosphonat-Antiabnutzungsadditive
in der erfindungsgemäßen Flüssigkeit verwendet werden. Spezielle Gelierungsmittel (beispielsweise Lithium- oder
Aluminiumseifen) scheinen in Konzentrationen bis zu 5 %
bei der Herabsetzung der Undichtigkeit wirksamer zu sein als Polymere. Die Aluminiumseifen sind weniger hydrolytisch
stabil als die Lithiumseifen. Schmiermittel, die diese Materialien enthalten, sind jedoch auch etwas weniger
gegenüber Oxydation stabil· Wie in Tabelle. IV gezeigt
wird, sind die Gesamteigenschaften des Gel enthaltenden
Hydrauliköls gut. Ein Basisöl vom hydrierten naphthenischen
Typ mit einem Anilinpunkt von 7^»1°C wurde verwendet,
um ein Abdichtungsanschwellen (seal swell) zu schaffen. Die Oxydationsstabilität liegt etwa 300 Stunden niedriger
als die der Poiymerversion bei einem Säurezahlendpunkt
von 2,0, wenn sie nach der ASTM D 94-3-Methode bestimmt
wird; ist aber etwa 200 % besser als ein vergleichbares öl, das ein naphthensäurefreies naphthenisch.es
Destillat anstelle eines wasserstoffraffinierten Öles enthält. Die Leckwiderstandsfähigkeit des Öles vom Geltyp,
das aus dem wasserstoffraffinierten Basismaterial hergestellt wurde, ist zweimal so gut, wenn sie in einer
Laboratoriumsausrüstung bestimmt wird.

Die Betriebsversuchsdaten mit dem Antileckhydraulikölgel
der vorliegenden Erfindung sind in Tabelle V aufgeführt. Drei Pressen wurden getestet, eine vom Horizontaltyp und
die beiden anderen vom Vertikaltyp. Wie ersichtlich ist, arbeiteten diese Pressen 880 bis 1944· Stunden. Die Undichtigkeitsherabsetzung
betrug 55 %i 85 % bzw. 60 %,
wenn sie mit dem R&O-Hydrauliköl verglichen wird. Diese
Werte liegen höher als die für polymere Antileckhydraulik-. öle erhaltenen Herabsetzungen. Die Euter- und Ventilleistung
war völlig akzeptabel* Nach diesem Versuch war der Zustand des Produktes ausgezeichnet. Es zeigte keine erhebliche
Viskosität oder Säurebildung. Ein Viskositätsverlust von etwa 15 % fand statt, bedingt durch die Scherkräfte
des Gels, aber die noch vorhandene Leckverzögerung war groß genug, um eine gute Undichtigkeitsherabsetzung zu
erhalten. Die jeweiligen Anlagentexte haben gezeigt, daß polymere Antileckhydrauliköle die Verluste um 28 bis 88 %
herabzusetzen vermögen. Die Gel enthaltenden Antileckhydrauliköle der vorliegenden Erfindung sind mit Herabsetzungen
von 55 bis 85 % in Betriebsanlagen wirksamer.
Ein Antileckhydrauliköl wurde unter Verwendung des gemisch ten Basisöles des Beispieles 2 kompoundiert; die Additive
waren jedoch von denen des Beispieles 2 verschieden, nämlich 0,7 % Di-tert.-raybutyl-p-Kresol, 0,05 % Alkyl (C8-C1
substituierte Bernsteinsäure (Lubrizol 850), 0,1 %

Dioctyldithio-thia-diazol (Amoco 150), 2 ppm Siliciumentschäumer
(1000 cSt bei 57,8°0, Dow Corning 200-FlUssigkeit).
Dieses Hydrauiiköl erforderte etwa 1000 Stunden beim D 94-3-Test, um einen Säurezahlendpunkt von 2,0
zu erhalten. Demgegenüber versagte eine Hydraulikflüssigkeit mit denselben Additiven, aber aus nichtwasserstoffraffiniertem
naphthenischen öl hergestellt, nach 200 Stunden beim D 94-3-Test.
Beispiel 4- '
• Ein Antileckhydrauliköl wurde unter Verwendung' der gleichen
Menge Lithiumstearat und einem dem Bespiel 1 analogen Basisöl kompoundiert. Die Zugabe von 5 °/° 200 SUS
"Düo-sol" extrahiertem paraffinischen Schmiermittel mit
einem Anilinpunkt von 104,80C verbesserte die D 943-Leistung
des Hydrauliköls. Ähnliche Ergebnisse wurden mit 5 °/°
eines Gemisches (mit einem Anilinpunkt von 66,70C) aus 25 % 100 SUS und 75 % 2500 SUS naphthensaurefre'ies naphthenisches
Destillat oder mit 2 1/2 % eines paraffinischen Öles und 2 1/2 % eines naphthenischen Ölgemisches erhalten.
Die beigefügte Tabelle VI führt die Eigenschaften einer besonders geeigneten paraffinischen Komponente zum Mischen
mit hydrierten und/oder nicht-hydrierten naphthenischen ölen auf, um ein geeignetes Basismaterial mit
einem Anilinpunkt von 65,6 bis 76,7°C zu schaffen. Für
ein solches Mischen kann die folgende Formulierung ver-

wendet werden, um den Anilinpunkt (AP) des gemischten
Basismateriales (AP Basis) vorherzusagen: AP Basis = (X) (AP paraffinische Komponente) + (1 - x) (AP
naphthenische Komponente);
wobei X der Volumena&teil der paraffinischen Komponente
und 1-X der Volumenanteil der naphthenischen Komponente
ist.
Die eingemischte Paraffinkomponente der Tabelle VI wird erhalten, indem 90 Volumteile eines 60 SUS (bei 37,80C)
wasserstoffraffinierten paraffinisohen Schmiermittelmaterials
(erhalten durch Duo-Sol-Extraktion eines paraffinischen
Destillates) mit 10 VoI,-Teilen eines nicht wasserstoffraffinierteij.

werden,, Die paraffinische Komponente ist ein spezielles,
vielseitiges Öl, da es auch als Textilverfahrensöl verwendet
werden kann (teilweise bedingt durch seinen hohen nicht-sulfonierbaren Rückstand). Ähnliche Paraffinkomponenten
höherer Viskosität und unterschiedlicher Anilinpunkte können erhalten werden, indem andere wasserstoffraffinierte
und nicht-wasserstoffraffinierte paraffinische Materialien hoher Viskosität vermischt werden.
Ein besonders brauchbares durch Seife und durch Polymere verdicktes Öl zum Schmieren von Textilmaschinen kann durch
Zusetzen von Lithiumstearat und hochmolekularem Polyisobutylen
zu einem hydrierten naphthenischen öl mit einer Viskosität von 60 - 300 SUS bei 3?,8°C hergestellt werden.
Um eine Max Michael-Viskosität von etwa 2p zu erhalten,
wurde beispiels¥/eise genügend Lithiumstearat (0,7^) und

Polyisobutylen (1,9 % Paratac) zu einem I50 SUS (bei
37»80O) wasserstoffraffinierten naphthenisehen Schmiermittelmaterial
(Anilinpunkt 162) gegeben, dem auch 1,3 % 40%iges chloriertes Paraffin (Chlorfin 40) zugesetzt wurde,
um die Belastbarkeit des Öles zu verbessern, sowie 0,4 % Di-tert.-butyl-p-Eresol und 2 ppm Siliciumantischaummittel.
Dieses durch Lithiumseife verdickte Textilschmiermittel kann nicht mit einem paraffinischen Basisöl der
gleichen Viskosität hergestellt werden, da das paraffinische öl nicht genügend mit der Seife verträglich ist, um
die Herstellung der gewünschten Max Michael-Viskosität zu ermöglichen. Nicht-wasserstoffraffiniertes naphthenisehes
öl kann nicht in diesem Öl verwendet werden, weil es eine Entfärbung und Beschädigung der Textilien zur Folge hat.

Claims (9)
- Patentansprüche1«, Ein mit Seife verdicktes Antileckhydrauliköl, dadurch gekennze ichnet, daß es eine wirksame Menge einer Lithiumseife oder einer Aluminiumseife und ein Kohlenwasserstoffbasisöl mit einer Viskosität von 60 - 900 SUS bei 37,8°C und einem Anilinpunkt von 65,6 bis 76»7°c enthält, und daß das Basisöl aus mindestens einem wasserstoffraffinierten naphthenischen Öl mit einer Viskosität von 40-12000 SUS bei 57,80C besteht.
- 2. Hydrauliköl nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß mindestens ein wasserstoffraffiniertes naphthenisches öl weniger als 80 ppm basischen Stickstoff enthält und eine 335 UV-Absorption von 0,01 bis 0,4 aufweist.
- 3. Hydrauliköl nach, Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es Lithiumstearat enthält.
- 4. Hydrauliköl nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es ein Phosphat enthaltendes Antiabnutzungsmittel enthält.
- 5. Hydrauliköl nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennze ichne t, daß es 0,1 bis 1 % Lithiumstearat, 0,02 - 2 % überbasisches Bariumpetroleumsulfonat und109848/1752 _28_0*1 - 5 °/° Tricresylphosphat enthält.
- 6. Hydrauliköl nach Anspruch 3» dadurch g e k e η η-zeichnet, daß es 0,3 - 2 % Tricresylphosphat enthält.
- 7· Hydrauliköl nach Anspruch 1, dadurch g e k e η nze'ichnet, daß das Basisöl eine Viskosität von 150 - 350 SUS bei 37,8°C aufweist.
- 8. Hydrauliköl nach Anspruch 7» dadurch gekennzeichnet,, daß es 0,1 bis 1 % Lithiumstearat enthält.
- 9. Hydrauliköl nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Basisöl eine 335 UV-Absorption von 0,02 - 0,2 aufweist und ein Gemisch aus mindestens zwei wasserstoffraffinierten naphthenisehen Ölen ist.1o. Hydrauliköl nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Basisöl ein zweites öl enthält, nämlich ein wasserstoffraffiniertes naphthenisches Öl und/oder wasserstoffraffiniertes paraffinisches Öl und/oder naphthenisehes Destillat und/oder naphthensäurefreies naphtheni ε ch.es Destillat und/ oder entasphaltiertes paraffinisches Destillat und/ oder mit Lösungsmitteln raffiniertes paraffinisches Destillat enthält.109848/1752
