Fig. ι, 2 und 3 stellen eine Milchtransportkanne dar, deren Verschlufs im wesentlichen identisch ist mit dem mir bereits durch die Patente No. 7608 und 17229 geschützten Verschlufssystem. Die Neuerungen bezw. Aenderungen meiner ursprünglichen Verschlüsse bestehen in folegndem: The innovations respectively. Changes to my original closures consist of the following:
i. Ueber den Hals der Kanne ist ein sehr starker Reifen R, Fig. 1 und 4, aus Eisen oder besser, um bei gleicher Widerstandsfähigkeit gröfsere Leichtigkeit zu erzielen, aus Stahl gelegt. Für diesen Reifen R sind zwei verschiedene Anordnungen getroffen, entweder wird derselbe geschweifst und gedreht oder offen, stumpf zusammenstofsend, über den Kannenhals gelegt. Im ersteren Falle ist, wie Fig. 4 zeigt, das äufserste Ende des cylindrischen Blechhalses der Kanne über denselben gebogen. Im anderen Falle aber, Fig. 5 und 6, ist der offene Ring R über den Börtel des Kannenhalses gesprengt und durch das Aufnieten des einen der beiden Lappen G in einen über dem Kannenhals geschlossenen festen Ring verwandelt. In beiden Fällen bildet dieser Ring R durch nochmaliges Verzinnen einen festen Körper." Auf diesem den Kannenhals verstärkenden Ring sind gegenüberliegend zwei nach aufwärts gekröpfte Lappen GG1, Fig. i, 2 und 3, welche oben unter rechtem Winkel nach innen abgebogen sind, befestigt.i. A1, und ist die Anordnung derart, dafs in dem Schutzring über dem Wulst des Deckels zwei kleine Lager ZZ1, Fig. i, von aufsen eingeschoben und festgenietet sind. Ferner besteht die Achse behufs leichteren Montirens aus zwei in der Mitte zusammenstofsenden Hälften, welche mit dem Hebel T durch Verlöthen zu einem Stück vereinigt werden.2.
