Abstract

Learning is often a strenuous process marked by self-discipline and renunciation.

Learning itself should be as active as possible, and the actions that can be taken during learning to memorize knowledge should ideally be as simple as possible. The control mechanisms are also very important as feedback during learning, they should motivate you to continue learning and ideally offer an opportunity for a sense of achievement.

The classic learning aid is, for example, a book, but the learning content in a book is often spread over several chapters, so that the learners are sometimes overwhelmed when looking for learning content. Most of them also want the learning content to be found as quickly as possible. The possibilities for controlling knowledge are rather limited with a book. Sometimes the answers to the questions are in small print at the end of the book or they are rotated 180° on the same page; In most cases, however, there are no explicit tools for checking learning, or they are distributed throughout the book in the form of the learning content itself.

Another learning aid are index cards, for example, with the task printed on the front and the assigned solution on the back. However, these have the disadvantage that the knowledge is spread over a large number of cards, making it difficult to keep track of the whole topic. It is true that there is a possibility of checking the learning content that has been learned; however, it is not possible to pose several questions that are related to one another or have similar content. to work on together or immediately one after the other and only then or together to check in order to recognize where there is still a need to catch up on a learning topic and where the learning content is stuck.

The disadvantages of the prior art described result in the problem initiating the invention of developing a learning aid that simplifies the learning process, supports it as pleasantly as possible and allows a simultaneous solution of several tasks on a common learning topic as well as a possibility for joint control of all solved tasks of the relevant learning topic.

The information carrier according to the invention is located in the transparent case-shaped Case that can be written on and wiped clean and can be slid lengthwise out of the case. The learning process is designed in such a way that the user draws a connecting line with the pen and the ruler between the task and solution points of the tasks and solutions he has mentally assigned to one another on the cover. Accordingly, these connecting lines are located on the cover that surrounds the information carrier.

To check the correctness, the information carrier is then moved in relation to the cover, with the connecting lines drawn on the cover being moved in the same way in relation to the information carrier, namely from the area of the task and solution fields to the adjacent area with the control elements.

The control elements are either lines or arrows, which in the shifted control state come into a common alignment, i.e. in a kink-free continuation with the drawn connecting lines, or they are points or areas, which in the shifted control state are below the drawn connecting lines or their end points.

If the answers are correct, then the control lines or arrows have the same gradient as the recorded connecting lines and/or connect to them without any kinks. Control points or areas are located exactly on or behind correctly drawn connecting lines, preferably on or behind their start and end points.

If, on the other hand, the answers are wrong, it is not possible to position all the control elements at the same time in such a way that each control line or each control arrow connects to a connecting line without kinks, or that each control point or area lies on or behind a drawn line. It is easy to check at a glance, and it is also immediately recognizable which tasks have been solved correctly and which have not been solved correctly.

The learning process is designed in such a way that the learner has to actively participate by drawing connecting lines. By using a writing implement and ruler, both hands are busy, so. that the learner is forced to work carefully and with concentration. The necessary use of the ruler offers a welcome change in everyday life, especially for those people who do not go to school or no longer go to school.

On the other hand, the learning process itself is comparatively simple: Most people find it easy to connect two dots. This is where the learning aid comes in, because the inner resistance to learning or the fear of solving tasks are minimized or even eliminated.

Learning with the learning aid according to the invention is often experienced as a game. Above all, the proposed control mechanisms according to the invention offer nicely packaged feedback for the user.

It has proven advantageous for the information carrier to have a flat shape. On the one hand, this has the advantage of requiring little space, and on the other hand, such a flat information carrier can be designed to be flexible and can therefore be bent, rolled or folded if necessary.

The information carrier preferably consists of paper or cardboard. On the one hand, this is a material that is available in large quantities, which can be printed on and is flexible.

It is recommended that the information carrier according to the invention has a standardized shape, for example DIN A4 format or DIN A5 format. As a result, standard paper blanks can be used, and only the printing process remains for production. Of course, information carriers on different learning areas or topics can be distinguished from one another by different basic or background colors, but even colored sheets of paper are currently available in different colors as standard.

In order to use the existing surface optimally, the information carrier according to the invention can be printed on both sides, in particular with under different tasks and solutions. Depending on whether the cover is transparent on one or both sides, the entire learning cover then only has to be turned over in order to work on the tasks on the back of the information carrier, or it is removed from the cover and turned over - i.e. with the back forward - pushed back into the case.

So that the information carrier only has to be moved in one direction within the envelope from the solution state to the control state, the control elements assigned to a task topic should be arranged on the same flat side of the information carrier as the relevant tasks and solutions.

On the other hand, there is also the possibility that the control elements assigned to a task topic are arranged on the other flat side of the information carrier than the relevant tasks and solutions. In this case, the information carrier must be pushed out of the cover for checking and pushed back in with the page turned; on the other hand, the control elements are not visible at all while solving the task and therefore cannot be used for cheating. This measure can be perfected even further by the fact that the cover only has one transparent flat side, so that tasks and control elements arranged on different flat sides of the information carrier can never be viewed at the same time, not even using a mirror or the like.

According to the invention, there can be several information carriers with different tasks and solutions, which can be exchanged for one another. This makes it possible to provide multiple information carriers for one cover, so that multiple learning areas or topics can be processed with one learning device.

Another measure to further reduce the possibility of cheating is that control elements in the form of points or areas are located below the drawn connecting lines in the control state and thus mark them, whereby the control elements in the control state are not necessarily located exactly in the middle of the respective connecting line must, but can be arranged anywhere independently on the entire length of the respective connecting line.

According to the invention, the control elements are reduced in such a way that they do not form a visually recognizable and transferrable graphic pattern and thus no information about the correct solutions can be derived from them while the task is being processed. For this purpose, for example, punctiform or area-based control elements can be arranged on the correctly drawn connecting lines in such a form that they may be close together or far apart and therefore do not result in a simple pattern. Line-shaped control elements can connect to different start or end points of correctly drawn connecting lines.

There is also the possibility that the control elements are alienated by an overlaid pattern. failing to use a white or solid color background in this way can further make it difficult to recognize a pattern.

Such a cover, lesson or topic sheet can be placed in front of a plurality of information carriers according to the invention, so that in the storage state it is immediately recognizable which learning content the information carrier contained covers.

In addition, at least one help or instruction sheet can be provided in the format of an information carrier, which has instructions on the use of the learning aid on at least one flat side. This can be a separate sheet or the back of a cover, lesson or topic sheet.

At least one information or advertising leaflet in the format of an information carrier offers further advantages, which has information and/or informative advertising material on at least one flat side for getting to know other learning products, in particular about key topics of other information carriers offered. In the case of good learning progress, there is thus the possibility of informing a learner of further learning products, in particular of further main topics offered in a learning system according to the invention, so that further information carriers or learning aids can be acquired if required.

The invention further features a means for erasing a writing medium, such as ink, applied to the envelope, which means may preferably be in the form of a rag. Finally, it corresponds to the teaching of the invention that a learning aid according to the invention serves as a product insert to convey information about a manufacturer's products, e.g. about the product range and their areas of application, in particular about cylindrical products such as food, food supplements, medicines or personal care products packed in bottle-shaped containers.
