Abstract

Vorrichtung zur Stabilisierung von Knochenfrakturen oder Resektionen mittels Hohlspacer, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass mehrere Hohlspacer gleicher oder unterschiedlicher Länge hintereinander mittels einer Verlängerungshülse (10) gekoppelt werden können.

Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Langzeitstabilisierung von diaphysären, pathologischen Knochenfrakturen, Knochendefekten oder Knochenresektionen in Humerus, Femur oder Tibia, wobei eine Verlängerungshülse einsetzbar ist, mit der Möglichkeit mehrere sogenannte Hohlspacer hintereinander setzen und um bestimmte Abstände am Knochen überbrücken zu können.
  • Derartige Stabilisierungsvorrichtungen sind in verschiedenen Ausführungen bekannt.
  • Zur Langzeitstabilisierung von diaphysären, pathologischen Knochenfrakturen, Knochendefekten und insbesondere bei Knochenresektionen in Humerus, Femur oder Tibia, werden so genannte Spacer verwendet. Beispielsweise bei einer Knochenresektion, wenn ein Teilstück des Knochens entfernt werden muss werden zunächst jeweils Marknägel in die verbleibenden Enden getrieben auf deren Ende wiederum Reduktionsbuchsen aufgesteckt werden. Diese stehen nach aussen über, sodass auf diese Buchsen dann die Spacer, das sind zwei Halbschalen verschraubt werden. Die Spacer gibt es in unterschiedlichen Durchmessern und Längen, beispielsweise zwischen 40mm und 70mm, also je nach der Länge der Teilresektion.
  • Bei einer erweiterten Resektion besteht aber auch der Bedarf einer noch längeren Überbrückung zwischen den verbleibenden Knochenenden, sodass hierbei längere Knochenplatten, Schienen oder andere Konstruktionen verwendet werden müssen, was sehr Zeitaufwendig und belastend für den Patienten ist.
  • Die Erfindung hat sich deshalb die Aufgabe gestellt, eine Überbrückung als eine Art Kupplung zu schaffen, die mehrere Spacer hintereinander zu setzen erlaubt.
  • Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe wird eine Verlängerungshülse vorgeschlagen, die als Kupplung mehrere Spacer, also zwei mit gleicher oder unterschiedlicher Länge, hintereinander zu einer kompakten, stabilen Einheit zu verschrauben gestattet. Damit sind Kombinationslägen möglich, die sehr stabil und trotzdem leicht sind. So kann beispielsweise ein Spacer mit 70mm Länge und ein weitere Spacer mit 40mm Läge zu einer Gesamtüberbrückung von 110mm führen.
  • Durch die Modularität dieses Systems wird die interoperative Auswahl der passenden Spacer stark erleichtert.
  • In der nachfolgenden Beschreibung eines Ausführungsbeispiels und anhand der Zeichnung wird die Erfindung näher erläutert.
  • Es zeigt:
  • 1 Die Verlängerungshülse.
  • In 1 ist die Verlängerungshülse 10 zwischen zwei perspektivischen Knochenenden 1A und 1B dargestellt, wobei die Darstellung nicht der tatsächlichen Endposition nach erfolgtem Einsetzen entspricht.
  • Aus den Knochenenden 1A,1B stehen die Reduktionshülsen 2 heraus.
  • Dazwischen wird die erfindungsgemäße Verlängerungshülse 10 gesetzt. Sie besteht aus einem Rohrabschnitt mit drei Bundstegen 11 wobei dadurch zwei Freiabschnitte mit geringerem Durchmesser vorhanden sind.
  • Die Aussendurchmesser der Bundstege 11 entsprechen denen der eingesetzten Reduktionshülsen 2, ebenso wie der Durchmesser der Freiabschnitte.
  • Die erfindungsgemäße Verlängerungshülse 10 ist einer Länge aber in verschiedenen Durchmessern entsprechend der Durchmesser der Reduktionshülsen lieferbar.
  • Die Verlängerungshülse 10 besteht aus Titan oder einem anderen medizinisch implantierbaren Material.

Claims (5)

  1. Vorrichtung zur Stabilisierung von Knochenfrakturen oder Resektionen mittels Hohlspacer, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass mehrere Hohlspacer gleicher oder unterschiedlicher Länge hintereinander mittels einer Verlängerungshülse (10) gekoppelt werden können.
  2. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Verlängerungshülse (10) ein Rohr mit mindestens drei Bundstegen (11) ist.
  3. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Bundstege (11) am jeweiligen Ende und mutig an der Verlängerungshülse (10) angeordnet sind.
  4. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Verlängerungshülse (10) aus Titan besteht.
  5. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Verlängerungshülse (10) aus einem biokompatiblen Material besteht.
