Abstract

Computerdrucker (1), insbesondere zum Drucken von Dokumenten im DIN A4 oder US Letter Format, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Drucker mindestens ein Magazin für RFID-Tags (2), einen RFID-Encoder (3) zum Codieren von RFID-Tags sowie eine Befestigungsvorrichtung (4) zum Anbringen von RFID-Tags auf Dokumenten aufweist.

Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft einen Computerdrucker, insbesondere zum Drucken von Dokumenten im DIN A4 oder US Letter Format, nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.
  • Mit der zunehmenden Verbreitung von RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) werden in Versandabteilungen zukünftig universell einsetzbare Computerdrucker benötigt, die verschiedenartige Dokumente in jeweils einem Druckvorgang erstellen können:
    • – Normale Geschäftsdokumente (z.B. Briefe) mit für Menschen lesbarer Schrift
    • – Versanddokumente mit für Menschen lesbarer Schrift und/oder mit Barcodes und/oder mit RFID-Tags
  • Der Nachteil von herkömmlichen Computerdruckern ist, dass diese keine RFID-Tags codieren können (ausgenommen die in JP2002337426 beschriebene Lösung). Die bekannten RFID-Etikettendrucker sind dagegen zur Erstellung von normalen Geschäftsdokumenten ungeeignet.
  • Ausgehend vom Stand der Technik liegt dieser Erfindung die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Computerdrucker zu schaffen, der Dokumente mit für Menschen lesbarer Schrift und/oder mit Barcodes drucken kann und/oder RFID-Tags codieren und diese auf Dokumenten anbringen kann.
  • Die Aufgabe wird mit den im Schutzanspruch 1 aufgeführten Merkmalen gelöst. Dabei wird ein Computerdrucker um ein Magazin für RFID-Tags, einen RFID-Encoder und eine Vorrichtung zum Anbringen von RFID-Tags auf Dokumenten ergänzt. Bei Bedarf können somit zusätzlich zu den normalen Druckfunktionen eines Computerdruckers RFID-Tags codiert und auf Dokumenten angebracht werden.
  • Mit der Erfindung wird erreicht, dass die verschiedenartigsten Dokumenten mit jeweils nur einem Druckvorgang erzeugt werden können und somit die Prozesse in einer Versandabwicklung beschleunigt werden. Da nur ein Gerät benötigt wird, können die Anschaffungskosten und der technische Wartungsaufwand reduziert werden.
  • Ein Ausführungsbeispiel wird unter Bezugnahme auf 1 beschrieben. In 1 ist schematisch ein Tintenstrahldrucker in der Seitenansicht im Querschnitt dargestellt. Der Drucker weist ein Papierfach (5), verschiedene Transportrollen, einen Druckkopf (6) sowie ein Fach für erstellte Dokumente (7) auf. Die RFID-Tags sind als selbstklebende Etiketten in einem rollenförmigen Magazin (2) untergebracht und durch Perforierungen voneinander trennbar. Nach der Codierung durch den Encoder (3) können die RFID-Etiketten durch zwei Fixierungsrollen (4) auf den Dokumenten aufgeklebt werden.

  1. Computerdrucker (1), insbesondere zum Drucken von Dokumenten im DIN A4 oder US Letter Format, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Drucker mindestens ein Magazin für RFID-Tags (2), einen RFID-Encoder (3) zum Codieren von RFID-Tags sowie eine Befestigungsvorrichtung (4) zum Anbringen von RFID-Tags auf Dokumenten aufweist.
