Claims (9)

1. Leuchtmittel mit einem wenigstens teilweise lichtdurchlässigem Rohr (1), dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß im Inneren des Rohres (1) eine Mehrzahl von Leuchtdioden (2) angeordnet ist.
2. Leuchtmittel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die lichtdurchlässigen Oberflächenbereiche des Rohres (1) aus satiniertem Material bestehen.
3. Leuchtmittel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Rohr (1) aus einem zweiteiligen Profil besteht, wobei wenigstens einer der beiden Profilteile (6) lichtdurchlässig ist und wobei die beiden Profilteile derart gestaltet sind, daß sie lösbar miteinander zu verbinden sind.
4. Leuchtmittel nach Anspruch 1, gekennzeichnet durch im Inneren des Rohres (1) angeordnete Halterungen (9), an welchen mit Leuchtdioden be­ stückte Platinen (10) befestigbar sind.
5. Leuchtmittel nach den Ansprüchen 3 und 4, dadurch gekennzeich­ net, daß die Halterungen (9) an einem der beiden Profilteile (7) angebracht sind.
6. Leuchtmittel nach Anspruch 1, gekennzeichnet durch elektrische Kontakte (5) an der Außenseite des Rohres (1), über welche die Leucht­ dioden (2) kontaktiert werden.
7. Leuchtmittel nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es an einem mit elektrischen Kontakten versehenen Rohrhalter befestigbar ist, wobei die Kontakte des Rohrhalters mit den elektrischen Kontakten (5) des Leucht­ mittels in Verbindung treten und dessen Stromversorgung gewährleisten.
8. Leuchtmittel nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Rohr (1) einen kreisförmigen Querschnitt aufweist, wobei der Durchmesser des Rohres 15 bis 50 mm und seine Länge 100 bis 2500 mm beträgt.
9. Leuchtmittel nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, gekenn­ zeichnet durch einen in das Rohr (1) integrierten Spannungswandler.
