Der Kopfträger 2, die Rammschutzkonstruktion 3, das Führerpult 6, das Sitzgestell 7 und der Führersitz 8 sind derart miteinander verbunden, daß die ge nannten Bauteile bei Deformation der Knautschzone 4 gemeinsam in Richtung Fahr gastraum verschoben werden. Damit wird ein Einklemmen des Fahrzeugführers zwi schen dem Führerpult 6 und dem Führersitz 8 während der Deformation der Knautschzone 4 verhindert. Der auf die Verschiebung abgestimmte Raum hinter dem Führersitz 8 wird freigehalten. Sitzgestell 7 und Führersitz 8 sind soweit erhöht ange ordnet, daß sich die Knautschzone 4 unterhalb des Führersitzes 8 ungehindert verfor men kann. Das Sitzgestell 7 kann verkleidet werden.
