Abstract
Der Refrigerator weist mindestens zwei Kaltstufen (KS1, KS2) auf, von denen jede ein Expansionsrohr (10, 20) und einen Regenerator (12, 22) enthält. Die erste Kaltstufe (KS1) erzeugt eine Vorkühlung und die zweite Kaltstufe (KS2) eine Nachkühlung. Das von einem Kompressor (27) gelieferte Druckgas wird den Kaltstufen über eine Ventilvorrichtung (30) zugeführt. Von dieser führen separate Leitungen (31, 32) zu den Kaltstufen. Die Ventilvorrichtung ist derart ausgebildet, dass sie für die Kaltstufen unterschiedliche Zeitpunkte des Einlasses und/oder Auslasses des Prozessgases festlegt. Auf diese Weise kann eine Entkopplung beider Kaltstufen erreicht werden.
