Description
The invention relates to an inflatable roofing with a roof with a flexible roof skin and an inflatable support element and a method for operating the same.
It is therefore the object of the present invention to create an improved method for operating an inflatable roofing with a roof with a flexible roof skin and an inflatable support element, which is particularly suitable for retracting vehicles.
This object is achieved by means of the method with the features of the main claim. Advantageous refinements are the subject of the subclaims.
The roofing according to the invention has a roof with a flexible roof skin, similar to a tent, e.g. made of a resilient suitable material, for example truck tarpaulin. At least two opposite side edges of the roof skin are designed in such a way that they can be connected to a base element at least in sections. Such fasteners can, for. B. welt elements, eyelets, rails, etc. be. A base element is used to attach the roof and can, for. For example: the natural subsurface, a created floor area, a foundation, a mobile foundation or weight or a wall, whereby the roof skin can be attached to the side of the wall or to its upper end.
Furthermore, the roofing according to the invention comprises at least one inflatable support element, for. B. an inflatable tubular element. This extends from one of the two side edges to the other of the two side edges, the support element running along the roof skin and is at least partially connected to this. Therefore, the roof skin is lifted from the inflated support element. The roof skin and the support element are such that the inflatable roofing can be brought into a desired shape by inflating the inflatable support elements. In the case of a short roof, for example a bulk material trough, a single inflated support element in the front area can be sufficient for the roof to be raised as intended and a vehicle to be able to drive in.
The roofing preferably has a control device for inflating and releasing the pressure in the inflatable support elements. In case of danger, e.g. B: Strong wind or evening start-up, the roofing therefore collapses and lies on the ground, between the walls or on the roofed bulk material, which is therefore still covered by the slack roof skin and thus protected from environmental influences. For this purpose, the control device has sensors for determining environmental conditions. These are operated in such a way that if environmental conditions that are dangerous for the inflated roof are detected, the roof can be brought into a horizontal safety position by releasing the pressure in the inflatable support elements.
Correspondingly, this one control device can also or alternatively be used as a control instance to prevent incorrect operation, which prevents careless, risky inflation of the lying roof as long as the sensors register dangerous environmental conditions for inflating the roof. This can be E.g. in strong winds or snow standing on the sheet.
The latter two applications are made possible by the control device and sensors. The control device comprises a compressor for inflating the support elements, the sensors for determining the environmental conditions are preferably designed to detect one or more of the following parameters: humidity, precipitation, wind direction, wind speed, soil temperature, air temperature, snow load, snow depth, ambient air pressure, support element Print.
The flexible roof skin preferably has at least one pocket which extends at least in sections along the roof skin for fastening the support element to the roof skin. The inflatable support element is fully or partially inserted therein. In contrast to, for example, inflatables, these are expediently inserted into the pockets rather than fixed, but replaceable. Production and maintenance are simplified because the roof skin and support element can be separated without tools. Depending on the application and dimensions, for example in the case of smaller segments, the support elements can also be firmly connected to the roof skin and / or even be integrated in it in one piece.
The maximum stability results when the pocket extends along the entire length of the support element. The roof cladding hugs the support element, which in turn is shaped by the roof cladding. For this purpose, the pocket extends from one of the two side edges to the other of the two side edges, the support element running along the roof skin and being connected to the pocket at least in sections, preferably over the entire length. The pocket therefore does not have to be present over the entire length; rather, a person skilled in the art selects the support lengths and spacings necessary for reliable function.
The pocket is preferably arranged on the upper side of the roof skin, that is to say outside the roof, so that it does not restrict the interior of the roof. For example, there is no excavator arm accidentally grabbing your bag and damaging it. If, on the other hand, the pocket is preferably arranged on the underside of the roof skin, that is to say inside the roof, the area exposed to wind is less.
For the reasons mentioned above, it is preferably also proposed that the roof skin comprises two layers, the pockets for the support elements and / or the support elements being fastened between the two layers.
Furthermore, the roof skin can also comprise two layers which are connected to form at least one air chamber. This takes on the desired, defined shape of the roof through appropriate design and cutting when inflated. For this purpose, for example, the two layers are connected to one another in sections. For this purpose, used film webs, which are preferably welded or glued to the layers, can be provided. These prevent the two pressurized layers from bulging up too much and therefore essentially define the wall thickness of the roofing, which also represents thermal insulation.
The roof skin and pockets are preferably made of a substantially thermoplastic material. This enables the pockets to be welded to the roof skin and thus a resilient, permanent and easy-to-make connection. In a technically simple manner, these pockets can be placed on the roof skin as simple strips with excess material between their edges to accommodate the support elements and then welded on the edge.
A roofing in the sense of the invention is not exclusively as a pure roof on a structure, e.g. E.g. a wall, understand. Rather, like a tent, the roof can also be designed as a whole hall including a side wall. The roof skin and the support element are therefore preferably such that the inflatable roofing can be brought into a downwardly open arch shape by inflating the inflatable support elements, similar to the shape of an aircraft shelter. The roof is open on one side so that vehicles can drive under the roof, for example to load bulk goods. In principle, the invention is not limited to a specific roof or hall shape.
Large halls can be realized if several pockets and support elements running next to one another are provided on the roof cladding, which are arranged next to one another at intervals. A skeleton is thus formed, which can shape the roof skin over a large area. If the support elements can preferably be inflated independently of one another by the control device, it is possible to react to environmental influences or to adapt the shape of the roofing dynamically. For example, only the support element closest to the opening of the roof can be specifically lowered as a gate in order to close the roof. If, on the other hand, all support elements are connected to one another via a common air line, the result is an inexpensive, simple structure that meets the standard requirements.
As mentioned in the introduction, the roofing can be fixed to the ground, e.g. by means of anchors or on top of a structure, e.g. a wall. The base element, with which the two opposite side edges of the roof skin are connected, can therefore be designed as a wall or masonry element. For example, the wall or wall element is then designed as a space open at the top with a front and / or rear opening, on the top of which the roofing is attached. A third side edge of the roof skin is then optionally connected to the rear wall.
- a. Aufblasen eines aufblasbaren Stützelements einer flexiblen Dachhaut, und dadurch Bringen der aufblasbaren Bedachung in eine gewünschte Form;
- b. Permanentes Überwachen des Drucks der aufblasbaren Stützelemente, um die aufblasbare Bedachung in der gewünschten Form zu halten durch eine Steuereinrichtung mit Sensoren;
- c. Permanente Überwachung von durch die Sensoren aufgenommenen Umweltbedingungen, insbesondere Luftfeuchtigkeit, Niederschlag, Windrichtung, Windgeschwindigkeit, Bodentemperatur, Lufttemperatur, Schneelast, Schneehöhe, Umgebungs-Luftdruck, Stützelement-Druck, durch die Steuereinrichtung mit Sensoren;
- a. Inflating an inflatable support member of a flexible roof membrane, thereby shaping the inflatable roofing into a desired shape;
- b. Constantly monitoring the pressure of the inflatable support elements in order to maintain the inflatable roof in the desired shape by a control device with sensors;
- c. Permanent monitoring of environmental conditions recorded by the sensors, in particular air humidity, precipitation, wind direction, wind speed, soil temperature, air temperature, snow load, snow depth, ambient air pressure, support element pressure, by the control device with sensors;
- d. Relief of the pressure in the inflatable support elements in order to bring the roofing into a horizontal safety position if the monitoring of environmental conditions recorded by the sensors meets the criteria of environmental conditions that are dangerous for the safety and function of the roofing.
The method is not limited to the design of the roofing described here, but is also suitable for inflatable roofs that have an inflatable wall or roof body, that is, an inflatable double wall at the same time forms the roof skin. With regard to the method, the “at least one inflatable support element of a flexible roof skin” also includes the roof skin at the same time and is not necessarily limited to a roof skin with separate inflatable support elements.
