Description
The invention relates to a fire termination element. This is particularly suitable for the formation of a fire door or a fire door. In this case, several fire termination elements can be composed.
Fire stop elements serve to close wall openings on buildings. In the event of fire, they have an improved resistance to elevated temperatures compared to conventional doors and gates and thus prevent the passage of flames and flue gases.
The invention is based on a fire termination element which is formed with a box which extends in a transverse direction, a height direction and a thickness direction. The box may in particular be formed from a metallic sheet material, in particular as a sheet steel box. Within the box, a fire protection filling is arranged, which in particular also has heat-insulating properties. In the closed state, the fire termination element is arranged so that it forms the conclusion in the thickness direction between two building areas to be separated or the building inside and outside.

Against this background, the invention has for its object to provide an easy-to-produce and effective fire finishing element, which makes the benefits of cellular concrete usable as fire protection material. The invention and solution to this problem is a fire termination element according to
The invention is based on a generic fire termination element with a box which extends in a transverse direction, a height direction and in a thickness direction, and with a fire protection filling arranged in the box. The fire protection filling has several layers in the thickness direction, of which a first layer comprises several fire protection elements made of cellular concrete. According to the invention the fire protection elements are cuboid and arranged adjacent in the transverse direction and / or in the height direction. Furthermore, the fire protection filling comprises a second layer with a fire-retardant material, wherein the second layer covers the transition between at least two adjacently arranged fire protection elements. In the arrangement according to the invention, the fire protection elements of aerated concrete can optimally exploit their strengths of high intrinsic stability in conjunction with good fire protection properties. The formation of the first layer with a plurality of composite elements facilitates assembly and in particular allows adaptation to different external dimensions of the fire protection element with little effort. At the same time, a complex sealing between the individual fire protection elements of aerated concrete can be omitted, since the transitions between two adjacently arranged fire protection elements are covered by the second layer of a fire-retardant material. The second layer thus inhibits a flame and smoke passage between the Fire protection elements, without the need for a separate seal is required.
In a preferred embodiment, the second layer is formed continuously. This is to be understood that the second layer is composed of a few (preferably less than five) individual elements, which each bridge a plurality of transitions between adjacent fire protection elements. The transition between the individual elements of the second layer is expediently arranged so that it intersects with the transitions between two adjacent fire protection elements as possible at right angles. Most preferably, the second layer is integrally formed so that it can cover the entire first layer as a whole. Thus, the second layer is particularly effective as a supplementary fire barrier.
Preferably, the fire protection elements of the first layer are unconnected to one another. Thus, additional joint material and a corresponding effort for the provision and arrangement is avoided. Furthermore, the fire protection elements can be placed directly against each other with the smallest possible gap.
In a particularly preferred embodiment adjacent fire protection elements abut each other in the transverse direction and / or in the height direction with straight end faces. The individual fire protection elements can be formed by commercially available porous concrete masonry blocks, which are positively stacked within the box. As a result, the fire protection elements have a high intrinsic stability in the dressing and can fill the interior of the box in the context of the first layer gapless.
Preferably, the fire protection elements are at least partially arranged in a masonry association, wherein the butt joints between two adjacently arranged in the side direction of individual fire protection elements offset from the joints of immediately above or below arranged fire protection elements are arranged.
Alternatively or additionally, the fire protection elements can also be arranged at least in sections with aligned joints in the vertical direction. As a result, the amount of work involved in creating the fire protection filling can be reduced since individual fire protection elements of the same size can always be used for the rows of fire protection elements arranged one above the other.
Particular preference is given to using standard bricks with a thickness of 50 mm measured in the thickness direction as the fire protection elements. These can be obtained on the market both inexpensively and with high availability.
If the required fire protection effect can not be implemented by means of 50 mm thick standard bricks as fire protection elements, the first layer can also have several layers of fire protection elements staggered in the thickness direction. The joints of a layer on the joint in the transverse direction and / or vertical direction are preferably offset relative to the joints of a subsequent layer aligned.
The second layer is preferably connected to a first inside of the box for fixation within the box and for stabilization in case of fire. The compound is most preferably completely over the entire surface and can be provided, for example, with glass waterglass adhesive.
Preferably, the first layer and the second layer directly adjoin each other in the thickness direction. The overlapping effect of the second layer for the transitions of the first layer can thus be achieved in the best possible way. At the same time, the complexity of the fire protection filling is reduced to the necessary minimum without additional intermediate layers.
In a preferred embodiment, the fire protection elements of the first layer with a second inner side of the box - in particular the entire surface - connected. Even with each other loose and unconnected coated fire protection elements can thus be securely fixed within the box, so that movement - especially when opening or closing the fire protection element - is avoided. As a result, unintentional movements of the fire protection elements, which can lead to rattling noises and / or their damage, can be excluded.
Particularly preferably, the fire protection element is arranged so that the first layer of the fire protection filling connected directly to the box is arranged on the side with the higher expected fire loads. It is advantageous that the fire protection elements formed from aerated concrete blocks have a higher insulation value and a higher destruction temperature in comparison to the deviant fire protection filling. Furthermore, there is a lower risk of corrosion of the box, in particular a galvanized sheet steel box in case of fire compared to GKF panels. When bonded directly to the box inside aerated concrete elements, the effect of the so-called "scaling" does not occur or only very small dimensions.
In a further preferred refinement, a third layer is provided in the context of the fire protection filling on the side of the first layer facing away from the second layer. The third layer is also formed with a fire retardant material.
The second layer and / or the third layer are expediently formed from a higher-quality fire protection material compared to aerated concrete. The used for comparison, preferably used cellular concrete has in particular a moisture content of about 4%. A higher-quality fire protection material is to be understood as meaning that it has a higher latent heat capacity for removing heat, in particular in the form of bound water.
With the at least three-layer structure, the effects according to the invention can be optimized since, regardless of which side of the first layer the fire load occurs, the second layer or the third layer is arranged "behind" the first layer in each case. This rear layer is not fully exposed in the event of fire, but initially charged only in the region of the transitions between two adjacent fire protection elements. As a result, fire propagation through the gaps between two adjacent fire protection elements can be prevented with less, higher quality fire protection material of the second or third layer.
The third layer may also be connected to a second inner side of the box, in particular over its full area. The first layer is held in a form-fitting manner between the second layer and the third layer.
Preferably, the first layer also directly adjoins the third layer in the thickness direction. The fire protection elements with the material of the third layer are also preferably unconnected.
A preferred material for the second layer and / or the third layer is plasterboard. Due to the bound water of crystallization, plasterboard fire protection boards (GKF) have a high chemical heat absorption capacity and can easily be cut to any external dimensions, in particular for complete coverage of the first layer.
Another advantageous material for the second layer and / or the third layer is mineral wool. This is highly temperature resistant with excellent thermal insulation properties. As a result, the heat transfer can be significantly delayed by the fire protection filling.
The box for forming the fire termination element is preferably designed as a sheet metal box, in particular as a galvanized sheet steel box. The zinc layer forms a corrosion protection, which is particularly advantageous in case of fire. Thus, corrosion processes with the emerging from the fire protection filling crystal water ("scaling") are avoided. Furthermore, the rust formation is prevented in daily use.
Due to the preferably normalized thickness of the fire protection elements of 50 mm, the thickness of the first layer is set to this value within the tolerances - unless several layers are provided.
The second and optionally the third layer of the fire protection filling have a thickness approximately between one-fifth and one-half the thickness of the first layer in relation to the thickness of the first layer. Preferably, the first layer is about three to four times as thick as the second and optionally the third layer. If a third layer is provided, it preferably has the same thickness in the thickness direction as the second layer. In the case of GKF boards in particular, a minimum layer thickness of approximately 10 mm must be provided for processing reasons in the case of the second and optionally the third layer. In a conventional two-layer construction within the fire barrier filling, the first layer formed from cellular concrete extends over 80% of the interior of the box, while the second layer accounts for approximately 16%. The remaining 4% are occupied by two layers of waterglass adhesive.
Any adhesive layers should not be counted as independent layers of the fire protection filling.
Preferably, the entire interior of the box is filled with the fire protection filling. In this case, any fold areas of a fire termination element and flashovers may be excluded, since these could be filled only with particularly high effort and incidentally a filling arranged there would contribute only a slight contribution to the fire protection effect. Furthermore, it is also unthinkable that in the edge regions of the box additional mechanical reinforcement elements, in particular in the form of reinforcement angles, and / or deviating fire protection fillings, in particular plaster studs may be arranged.
In a particularly preferred embodiment, the first layer, the second layer and / or or the third layer each formed only of a single fire protection material. Also preferably, the fire protection filling has the highest three layers.
Particularly preferably, the box is formed from two composite in the thickness direction half shells. The half-shells can be manufactured separately and equipped with parts of the fire protection filling. Subsequently, the two half shells are assembled to form the fire termination element. In particular, in the case of metallic (heat-conducting) half-shells, thermal separation at the connection point can additionally be provided.
The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing a fire termination element having a box extending in a transverse direction, a height direction and a thickness direction. The box is formed with a first half-shell and a second half-shell. In the box, a fire protection filling is inserted, which has several layers in the thickness direction. In the context of the method according to the invention, a first layer of the fire protection filling with a plurality of parallelepiped and in the transverse direction and / or height direction adjacent arranged fire protection elements made of cellular concrete is inserted into the first half-shell. In the second half-shell, a second layer with the fire protection filling comprising a fire-retardant material with an inner surface of the second half-shell, in particular the entire surface, connected. The first half shell and the second half shell are then assembled to form the box, so that the second layer covers the transition between at least two adjacent arranged fire protection elements.
In the method according to the invention, it is possible with particular advantage to form a fire-termination element according to the invention. Long delays such as pouring the box with aerated concrete and subsequent setting are avoided. Furthermore, ordinary, regular aerated concrete blocks can be used to form the first layer without having to be provided with special formations and / or sealing means. The individual fire protection elements (aerated concrete blocks) can be easily edited and adapted to the conditions of the fire termination element. For example, it is possible without any problems to insert recesses into the fire termination elements, for example for lock cases, locking bolts, connecting devices and the like. After assembling the box, the fire protection filling completely fills the inside of the box, the individual layers being held together by positive locking. An additional gluing is not necessary.
The invention also relates to a fire termination, which has a fire termination element described above. The fire termination comprises a wall and a wall opening arranged inside the wall, which can be closed with the aid of a fire-closing element according to the invention.
Preferably, the fire termination element is arranged off-center in a closing position closing the door opening with respect to the wall in the thickness direction. In particular, the fire termination element is arranged in the region of a front side of the wall or with this aligned.
In the case of a first layer of cellular concrete blocks immediately adjacent to an inner side of the box, the fire termination element is preferably oriented so that this side faces the area in front of or behind the fire termination, which has a higher expected fire load.
If identical fire loads are to be expected in both areas on both sides of the fire, it is advantageous to align the off-center fire termination element so that the first layer points towards the outside and the second layer towards the inside. Since a fire usually does not exist within the soffit of the wall opening both in real applications and in the context of fire tests, the first layer is thus arranged on the thermally stressed side.
Preferably, the fire termination is formed by a fire door in the wall opening arranged door frame and a pivotally connected to the door frame, forming a door leaf fire termination element. The door frame is preferably arranged as a corner or Umfassungszarge, wherein the door leaf is aligned with a first front surface of the wall in the closed state.
