Claims (54)
Eine nicht weiße, lichtemittierende Diode,
eine Flüssigkristallanzeige, und
ein Leuchtstoffmaterial, das zwischen der lichtemittie renden Diode und der Flüssigkristallanzeige angeordnet ist, wobei das Leuchtstoffmaterial Licht von der licht emittierenden Diode abwärts wandelt auf Licht mit weißer spektraler Abstrahlung.
Ein Polarisationszerhackermaterial zwischen der nicht weißes Licht emittierenden Diode und dem Lichtleiter, wobei das Polarisationszerhackermaterial Öffnungen auf weist, die benachbart zu der nicht weißes Licht emittie renden Diode angeordnet sind.
Einen Lichtleiter, und
einen reflektierenden Polarisator,
wobei Licht von dem Lichtleiter den reflektierenden Po larisator durchsetzt, bevor es die Flüssigkristallanzei ge hinterleuchtet.
Eine nicht weißes, Licht emittierende Diode,
einen Lichtleiter,
ein Spektrumwandlungsmaterial zwischen der nicht weißes Licht emittierenden Diode und dem Lichtleiter,
eine Lichtextraktionsoberfläche, die in der Nähe einer ersten Seite des Lichtleiters angeordnet ist,
einen Diffusor, der in der Nähe der zweiten Seite des Lichtleiters angeordnet ist, wobei die erste und zweite Seite gegenüberliegende Seiten des Lichtleiters sind,
einen reflektierenden Polarisator, und
eine Flüssigkristallanzeige,
wobei Licht von der nicht weißes Licht emittierenden Di ode, gewandelt durch das Spektrumwandlungsmaterial, das in den Lichtleiter eintritt, den Diffusor und den re flektierenden Polarisator durchsetzt und daraufhin die Flüssigkristallanzeige hinterleuchtet.
Eine zweite, nicht weißes Licht emittierende Diode, die sich bezüglich ihrer Farbe von der nicht weißes Licht emittierenden Diode unterscheidet,
wobei das Spektrumwandlungsmaterial erste und zweite Be reiche aufweist, wobei der erste Bereich Licht von der lichtemittierenden Diode in erstes Licht mit weißer, spektraler Strahlung umwandelt, und wobei der zweite Be reich Licht von der zweiten, lichtemittierenden Diode in ein zweites weißes Licht mit weißer, spektraler Strah lung wandelt.
Eine lichtemittierende Diode, die nicht weißes Licht e mittiert,
ein Spektrumwandlungsmaterial,
einen Diffusor,
einen reflektierenden Polarisator, und
eine Flüssigkristallanzeige,
wobei Licht von der lichtemittierenden Diode durch das Spektrumswandlungsmaterial gewandelt wird, bevor das ge wandelte Licht den Diffusor und den reflektierenden Po larisator durchsetzt, bevor die Flüssigkristallanzeige hinterleuchtet wird.
Eine nicht weißes Licht emittierenden Diode,
einen Lichtleiter mit einer Leuchtstoffbeschichtung, die das Spektrum der nicht weißes Licht emittierenden Dioden und des Lichtleiters wandelt,
eine Lichtextraktionsoberfläche, die in der Nähe einer ersten Seite des Lichtleiters angeordnet ist,
einen verbesserten Diffusorreflektor, der in der Nähe einer gegenüberliegenden Seite des Lichtleiters angeord net ist,
einen Diffusor, der in der Nähe einer zweiten Seite des Lichtleiters angeordnet ist, wobei die erste und zweite Seite gegenüberliegende Seiten des Lichtleiters sind,
einen reflektierenden Polarisator, und
eine Flüssigkristallanzeige,
wobei Licht von bzw. aus dem Lichtleiter den Diffusor und den reflektierenden Polarisator durchsetzt und dar aufhin die Flüssigkristallanzeige hinterleuchtet.
Eine weißes Licht emittierende Diode,
einen Lichtleiter,
eine Lichtextraktionsoberfläche, die in der Nähe einer ersten Seite des Lichtleiters angeordnet ist,
einen Diffusor, der in der Nähe der zweiten Seite des Lichtleiters angeordnet ist, wobei die erste und zweite Seite gegenüberliegende Seiten des Lichtleiters sind,
einen reflektierenden Polarisator, und
eine Flüssigkristallanzeige,
wobei Licht von der weißes Licht emittierenden Diode in den Lichtleiter eintritt und den Diffusor und den re flektierenden Polarisator durchsetzt und daraufhin die Flüssigkristallanzeige hinterleuchtet.
