Verwendung
einer Wasser-in-Öl-Emulsion
als Betontrennmittel, bei der die Wasser-in-Öl-Emulsion im wesentlichen
zumindest aus Wasser, einer Öl-Komponente und einer
von wenigstens einem Emulgator gebildeten Emulgator-Komponente besteht,
und
bei der die Wasser-in-Öl-Emulsion eine diskontinuierliche wässrige Phase und eine kontinuierliche Ölphase aufweist, und
bei der der wenigstens eine Emulgator ein hochmolekularer Emulgator und/oder ein Emulgator mit einem Molgewicht von wenigstens 300 g/mol ist, und zwar wenigstens ein Emulgator der nachfolgenden Gruppe:
Ethylenglykolmonostearat, Sorbitan-monolaurat, Sorbitan-monopalmitat, Sorbitantristearat, Sorbitan-monostearat, Sorbitan-monooleat, Sorbitan-trioleat, PEG 300 dilaurat, organische Phosphorsäureester, Ölsäurepolyglycerinester, Soja-Lecithin, PEG 400 distearat, PEG 200 distearat, PEG-30 dipolyhydroxystearat.

- Betontrennmittel sind in unterschiedlichsten Ausführungen bekannt, insbesondere auch in Form von Emulsionen (Trennmittel-Emulsionen), die eine Öl-Komponente, Wasser sowie als weitere Komponente einen geeigneten Emulgator aufweisen (z. B. WO 85/05066 A1). Diese bekannten Trennmittel-Emulsionen sind dabei als „Öl-in-Wasser-Emulsionen" (O/W-Emulsionen) ausgeführt, d.h. die kontinuierliche (äußere) Phase besteht aus Wasser, während das Öl die diskontinuierliche (innere) Phase bildet Diese bekannten Trennmittel sind zwar relativ dünnflüssig (wässrig), was für die Verarbeitung grundsätzlich günstig ist, haben aber entscheidende Nachteile. So besitzen die bekannten Trennmittelemulsionen z.B. ein schlechtes Benetzungsverhalten und vielfach nicht zufriedenstellende Trenneigenschaften, was insbesondere auch dazu führt, daß das verwendete Schalungsmaterial stark an der Oberfläche eines fertiggestellten Betonbauteils haftet. Weiterhin ist die Anwendung der bekannten Trennmittelemulsionen zeitaufwendig, da nach dem Aufbringen auf die Schalung der Betoniervorgang nicht sofort eingeleitet werden kann, sondern abgewartet werden muß, bis ein Teil des Wassers verdunstet ist und damit die Emulsion gebrochen ist. Bekannte Trennmittel müssen also erst ablüften, um die für die Trennwirkung notwendige hydrophobierende Wirkung zu entfalten. Vielfach ist aber auch nicht ohne weiteres oder nur schwer erkennbar, wann dieser Ablüftungsprozess beendet ist und damit der Betoniervorgang eingeleitet werden kann. Bekannte Trennmittelemulsionen haben ferner den Nachteil, daß sie stark haftende und damit nur schwer entfernbare Rückstände bilden.
- Bekannt ist speziell auch ein Betontrennmittel mit verbessertem Korrosionsschutz (
DE 44 18 807 A1 ), und zwar bestehend aus einer mit Wasser nicht mischbaren und bei Temperaturen zwischen 5 – 15° C flüssigen monofunktionellen Alkoholkomponente mit 6 – 30 C-Atomen als Ölkomponente, einem Emulgiermittel, einem Rostschutzmittel sowie Wasser. Als Emulgatoren werden W/O- oder O/W- Emulgatoren, nämlich Ethoxylate von Fettalkoholen oder Alkylphenolen, Ethoxylate von Fettsäuren, Fettsäuremonoglycerinester, Seifen der Fett- oder Harzsäuren oder dergl. vorgeschlagen, insbesondere auch Natrium- oder Kalium-Seifen von gesättigten und ungesättigten Fettsäuren, z.B. Natriumstearat oder Aliumoleat. - Bekannt ist hierbei auch, das Betontrennmittel in Form einer Wasser-in-Öl-Emulsion zu formulieren, und zwar als hochviskose Paste. Nachteilig ist allerdings, dass eine solche Paste mit den üblichen, auf einer Baustelle vorhandenen Hilfsmitteln, wie sie zur Verarbeitung von Betontrennmitteln verwendet werden, nicht verarbeitet werden kann.
- Bekannt ist weiterhin ein Verfahren zum Herstellen von flüssige Alkohole enthaltenden Öl-in-Wasser-Emulsionen (
DE 195 02 892 A1 ), und zwar bestehend aus einer Ölkomponente, aus mit Wasser nicht mischbaren, bei Temperaturen von 5 – 25° C flüssigen, monofunktionellen Alkoholen mit 6 bis 30 C-Atomen und einer weiteren, mit Wasser nicht mischbaren organischen Verbindung sowie mit einem nichtionischen Emulgator. - Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, eine Wasser-in-Öl-Emulsion zur Verwendung als Betontrennmittel bzw. als Trennmittelemulsion aufzuzeigen, die die vorgenannten Nachteile vermeidet.
- Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe wird eine Wasser-in-Öl-Emulsion als Betontrennmittel entsprechend dem Patentanspruch 1 verwendet.
- Der wesentliche Unterschied der erfindungsgemäßen Verwendung der Wasser-in-Öl-Emulsion als Betontrennmittels besteht darin, daß bei der verwendeten „Wasser-in-Öl-Emulsion" als kontinuierliche, äußere Phase Öl und als diskontinuierliche, innere Phase Wasser eingesetzt wird.
- Bei dem erfindungsgemäßen Verwendung der Wasser-in-Öl-Emulsion als Betontrennmittel ist das Gewichtsverhältnis der diskontinuierlichen wässrigen Phase zu der kontinuierlichen Ölphase so gewählt, daß einerseits unter Vermeidung eines zu hohen Wassergehaltes eine für die Anwendung des Betontrennmittels ausreichend niedrige Viskosität erzielt und daß andererseits ein zu hoher Anteil der Öl-Komponente vermieden ist, um die wirtschaftlichen und ökologischen Vorteile der erfindungsgemäßen Verwendung einer Wasser-in-Öl-Emulsion als Betontrennmittel sicherzustellen. Bei einer vorteilhaften Ausführung der Erfindung liegt das Gewichtsverhältnis zwischen der diskontinuierlichen wässrigen Phase und der kontinuierlichen Ölphase im Bereich zwischen etwa 3 : 7 bis 7 : 3 und dabei vorzugsweise im Bereich zwischen 4 : 6 bis 6 : 4. Bei einer speziellen Ausführung des erfindungsgemäßen Betontrennmittels enthält dieses gleiche Teile Wasser und Öl.
- Als Emulgatorkomponente eignen sich bei der Erfindung hochmolekulare Emulgatoren, bevorzugt polymere Emulgatoren. Um für das erfindungsgemäße Betontrennmittel eine für das Verarbeiten günstige, möglichst niedrige Viskosität zu erreichen, wird als Emulgator-Komponente bevorzugt wenigstens ein polymerer oder makromolekularer Emulgator mit einem Molgewicht größer als 1000g/mol vorzugsweise ein polymerer Emulgator mit einem Molgewicht größer als 3000g/mol verwendet.

- Untersuchungen haben gezeigt, daß von den vorgenannten Emulgatoren als Emulgatorkomponente insbesondere PEG-30 Dipolyhydroxystearat zu besonders guten Ergebnissen führt.
Claims (5)
- Verwendung einer Wasser-in-Öl-Emulsion als Betontrennmittel, bei der die Wasser-in-Öl-Emulsion im wesentlichen zumindest aus Wasser, einer Öl-Komponente und einer von wenigstens einem Emulgator gebildeten Emulgator-Komponente besteht, und bei der die Wasser-in-Öl-Emulsion eine diskontinuierliche wässrige Phase und eine kontinuierliche Ölphase aufweist, und bei der der wenigstens eine Emulgator ein hochmolekularer Emulgator und/oder ein Emulgator mit einem Molgewicht von wenigstens 300 g/mol ist, und zwar wenigstens ein Emulgator der nachfolgenden Gruppe: Ethylenglykolmonostearat, Sorbitan-monolaurat, Sorbitan-monopalmitat, Sorbitantristearat, Sorbitan-monostearat, Sorbitan-monooleat, Sorbitan-trioleat, PEG 300 dilaurat, organische Phosphorsäureester, Ölsäurepolyglycerinester, Soja-Lecithin, PEG 400 distearat, PEG 200 distearat, PEG-30 dipolyhydroxystearat.
- Verwendung einer Wasser-in-Öl-Emulsion als Betontrennmittel nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Öl-Komponente von einem Mineralöl und/oder einem pflanzlichen Öl gebildet ist.
- Verwendung einer Wasser-in-Öl-Emulsion als Betontrennmittel nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei die diskontinuierliche wässrige Phase und die kontinuierliche Ölphase in einem Gewichtsverhältnis 1 : 9 bis 9 : 1 enthalten sind.
- Verwendung einer Wasser-in-Öl-Emulsion als Betontrennmittel nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die diskontinuierliche wässrige Phase und die kontinuierliche Ölphase in einem Gewichtsverhältnis von 3 : 7 bis 7 : 3 enthalten sind.
- Verwendung einer Wasser-in-Öl-Emulsion als Betontrennmittel nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die diskontinuierliche wässrige Phase und die kontinuierliche Ölphase in einem Gewichtsverhältnis von 4 : 6 bis 6 : 4 enthalten sind, vorzugsweise in einem Gewichtsverhältnis von 1 : 1.
