Abstract
Μια μέθοδος κατά της βιολογικής ρύπανσης μιας επιφάνειας ενώ η εν λόγω επιφάνεια είναι τουλάχιστον εν μέρει βυθισμένη σε υγρό περιβάλλον, η οποία περιλαμβάνει: την παροχή ενός φωτός κατά της βιολογικής ρύπανσης (9). την κατανομή τουλάχιστον μέρους του φωτός (9) διαμέσου ενός οπτικού μέσου (5) το οποίο αποτελείται από υλικό σιλικόνης ή/και τηγμένου διοξειδίου του πυριτίου βαθμού UV, την εκπομπή του φωτός κατά της βιολογικής ρύπανσης (9) από το οπτικό μέσο (5) και από την επιφάνεια.
