Abstract
Παρέχονται συστήματα και μέθοδοι υδατοκαλλιέργειας ανοικτής θάλασσας που χρησιμοποιούν μια ημιβυθιζόμενη εξέδρα με κατακόρυφες στήλες που διαθέτει εγκαταστάσεις αποθήκευσης και συντήρησης για την υποστήριξη υδατοκαλλιέργειας. Τα συστήματα περιλαμβάνουν ένα άκαμπτο σύνολο κλωβών υδατοκαλλιέργειας με κατακόρυφες κοιλότητες που έχουν σχήματα διαμορφωμένα ώστε να δέχονται αντίστοιχες κατακόρυφες στήλες της ημιβυθιζόμενης εξέδρας. Το άκαμπτο σύνολο είναι μηχανικά συνδεδεμένο με την ημιβυθιζόμενη εξέδρα σε λειτουργικές θέσεις: (i) μια ανυψωμένη θέση στην οποία το άκαμπτο σύνολο περικλείει τις αντίστοιχες κατακόρυφες στήλες εντός των κατακόρυφων κοιλοτήτων ώστε να περιορίζει την οριζόντια κίνηση του άκαμπτου συνόλου και (ii) μία βυθισμένη θέση στην οποία το άκαμπτο σύνολο είναι κάτω από τις αντίστοιχες κατακόρυφες στήλες. Τα συστήματα περαιτέρω περιλαμβάνουν μία μονάδα ελέγχου διαμορφωμένη ώστε να ελέγχει τον μηχανικό μηχανισμό ελέγχου θέσης ώστε να βυθίζει το άκαμπτο σύνολο κατά την εκδήλωση καθορισμένων δυσμενών θαλασσίων συνθηκών ή όποτε χρειάζεται και να ανυψώνει το άκαμπτο σύνολο σε καθορισμένες συνθήκες.
