Abstract

Ένα σύστημα εξάτμισης για αυτοκινούμενη μηχανή εσωτερικής καύσης το οποίο απαρτίζεται από μια αριστερή ζώνη εξάτμισης που μπορεί να συνδεθεί σε μια αριστερή ομάδα κυλίνδρων και μια δεξιά ζώνη εξάτμισης που μπορεί να συνδεθεί σε μια δεξιά ομάδα κυλίνδρων της αυτοκινούμενης μηχανής εσωτερικής καύσης, με κάθε ζώνη εξάτμισης να απαρτίζεται από μια είσοδο ζώνης για τη λήψη καυσαερίων που αποβάλλονται από την ομάδα κυλίνδρων στην οποία μπορεί να συνδεθεί η ζώνη εξάτμισης, τουλάχιστον ένα άνοιγμα εξόδου καυσαερίων στην ατμόσφαιρα, και έναν σωλήνα σύνδεσης που εκτείνεται ανάμεσα στην είσοδο ζώνης και στην έξοδο καυσαερίων, ο οποίος περιλαμβάνει ένα άνοιγμα εισόδου για τη λήψη καυσαερίων από την είσοδο ζώνης και ένα άνοιγμα εξόδου για τη μεταφορά καυσαερίου προς το άνοιγμα καυσαερίων, όπου ο αριστερός σωλήνας σύνδεσης και ο δεξιός σωλήνας σύνδεσης ενώνονται για να δημιουργήσουν μια ένωση σωλήνων η οποία σχηματίζει ένα κοινό άνοιγμα σύνδεσης για τη μεταφορά καυσαερίου μεταξύ των ζωνών και όπου το σύστημα εξάτμισης απαρτίζεται από τουλάχιστον ένα μέλος βαλβίδας για το άνοιγμα ή κλείσιμο του κοινού ανοίγματος σύνδεσης.
