Abstract
Föreliggande uppfinning avser ett grenrör för mottagning av avgaser från en flercylindrig förbränningsmotor (1). Förbränningsmotorn (1) har en tändningsföljd så att stamledningen (4a, 4b) hos grenröret (4a, 4b) mottar avgaser under ett överlappande skede från två cylindrar (,,, cs) samtidigt via en uppströms anordnad inloppsöppning (3a, 3b) och från en nedströms anordnad inloppsöppning (3a, 3b) hos stamledningen (4a, 4b). Stamledningen (4a, 4b) innefattar en väsentligen konstant tvärsnittsarea förutom i ett område (A, B) som är beläget i en position i anslutning till den nedströms anordnade inloppsöppningen (3a, 3b) av de två inloppsöppningarna (3a, 3a,3b, 3b) som mottar avgaser samtidigt. Nämnda område (A, B) uppvisar en geometri som underlättar mottagandet och flödet av avgaser i den förbestämda riktningen i stamledningen (4a, 4b) vid tillfällen då de två inloppsöppningarna (3a, 3a,3b3, 3b) mottar avgaser samtidigt.(Fig. 1)
