Abstract
An internal combustion engine for a vehicle includes: an intake portion and an exhaust portion; an exhaust pipe (13) connected to the exhaust portion; and an exhaust emission control device (21) intervenes in the exhaust pipe. An exhaust gas recirculation pipe branched from a downstream side of the exhaust emission control device is connected to the intake portion. A conduit through which an exhaust gas flows to the intake portion from the exhaust portion is separated into a starting end side conduit connected to the exhaust portion, a terminal portion side conduit connected to the intake portion, and intermediate conduits. The exhaust portion and the starting end side conduit are relatively rotatably connected to each other. The terminal portion side conduit and the intake portion are relatively rotatably connected to each other. Adjacent conduits are relatively rotatably connected to each other. Fig. 3
