Abstract

Η παρούσα εφεύρεση αποκαλύπτει βιοαισθητήρα για οπτική ανίχνευση μιας αναλυόμενης ουσίας, επί τη βάσει των ιδιοτήτων μετατροπής του φωτός προς θερμότητα των νανοσωματιδίων μετάλλου: η υπό ανάλυση ουσία ανιχνεύεται οπτικά με τη μεταβολή χρώματος στις περιοχές υποστήριξης (όπου υπάρχει η υπό ανάλυση ουσία), που δημιουργούνται ως αποτέλεσμα της θερμότητας που δημιουργείται με τα νανοσωματίδια μετάλλου όπου αυτά ακτινοβολούνται με εξωτερική πηγή φωτός. Χρήση του εν λόγω βιοαισθητήρα σε μία μέθοδο για την ανίχνευση αναλυόμενων ουσιών επίσης αξιώνεται.
