Abstract

Μία μέθοδος για τη σύνδεση φλαντζών ή άλλων συζεύξεων σε σωλήνες, όπου ένα πλήθος ακτινικά εκτεινόμενων τμημάτων (10) με κυκλικές ράχες (11) σε ένα εργαλείο που εισάγεται στο σωλήνα (1), πιέζουν αυλακώματα (5, 6) στο τοίχωμα του σωλήνα μέσα σε αντίστοιχες αυλακώσεις (3, 4) στο περιβάλλον στοιχείο σύζευξης (2), όπου δίνεται στο άκρο του σωλήνα, μέσω μίας προεξοχής στα τμήματα, μία υπερλύγιση προς τα έξω που αποτρέπει το άκρο του σωλήνα από το να λεπταίνει σταδιακά προς τα μέσα κατά τη διάρκεια της πίεσης των αυλακωμάτων. Η εφεύρεση περιλαμβάνει την εσωτερική διαρρύθμιση του στοιχείου σύζευξης καθώς και ένα εργαλείο για την πίεση των αυλακωμάτων.
