Abstract

Μία τυποποίηση για αντισύλληψη ανδρών που περιλαμβάνει μία προγεστερόνη που διαθέτει και οιστρογονικές και ανδρογονικές ιδιότητες είναι αξιοσημείωτα δραστική για την καταστολή της σπερματογένεσης σε άρρενες. Η προγεστερόνη Νορεθιστερόνη (NET), ιδιαίτερα τα παράγωγα της οξικής Νορεθιστερόνης και της ενανθικής Νορεθιστερόνης σε επαρκείς δόσεις προκαλούν ολιγοζωοσπερμία ή αζωοσπερμία στους άνδρες.
