Abstract

Se describe un compuesto de bagazo, un método para preparar el compuesto, y un material interno utilizando el mismo. Mas particularmente, el compuesto incluye 55-75% en peso de fibras y 25-45% en peso de un polímero termoplástico, en donde las fibras se obtienen del bagazo y tienen un tamano de partículas de malla 40-120, y una proporción de longitud de diámetro de 3:1 a 5:1. De esta forma, el compuesto muestra una alta resistencia, y no se hincha. También, el compuesto descrito tiene textura natural y patrones similares a la madera natural, y se puede utilizar para elaborar un producto capaz de sustituir diversos materiales internos y la madera tratada.
