Abstract

Se proveen composiciones novedosas que comprenden una combinacion de por lo menos un alcohol alifatico primario superior seleccionado de preferencia de aquellos que tienen de 18 a 40 atomos de carbono, o mezclas del mismo, y por lo menos una fuente de 5-hidroxitriptofano (5-HTP) que comprende opcionalmente ademas una fuente de cafeina y/o catequina-polifenol y/o galato de epigalocatequina como agentes activos, ya sea solos o en combinacion con otros agentes activos, opcionalmente con uno o mas excipientes; en particular, la invencion se refiere a composiciones y procedimiento para la preparacion de dichas composiciones, y metodo de uso de las mismas para el manejo de obesidad y trastornos asociados.
