Abstract
Proceso para la producción de 2,3-BUTANODIOL mediante cepas mejoradas de Raoutella planticola, se refiere a nuevas cepas mutantes obtenidas por mutagénesis al azar a partir de la especia bacteriana Roultella planticola CECT843 con capacidad productora industrial de 2,3-butanodiol a partir de glicerol. La presente invención refiere prefrentemente a las cepasde Roultella planticoladenominadas IA1 y IIIA3, y depositadas en la colección Española de cultivos (CECT) con no de depósito CECT8158 (Correspondiente a la cepa denominada, IAI) y CECT8159 (correspondiente a la cepa denominada, IIIA). La presente invención refiere igualmente a un proceso de obtención de 2, 3-butanodiol a partir de glicerol mediante un proceso biotecnológico utilizando las nuevas cepas de la invención.
