Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método novedoso para aumentar la resistencia a la sequía de una planta. El método abarca la afectación de la expresión de un gen o genes en la planta. En comparación con una planta no manipulada para afectar la expresión de los genes, las plantas exhiben una resistencia mejorada a la sequía. También se proporcionan plantas y productos vegetales que se pueden obtener mediante el método de acuerdo con la invención.
