Abstract
La presente invención proporciona un método de fabricación de piensos a partir de biomasa lignocelulósica. Material de biomasa que tiene un contenido de humedad de menos del 30% se introduce en un recipiente de presión. Se aplica un vacío al recipiente de presión durante al menos uno y preferiblemente dos minutos. Después se introduce vapor para calentar el material de biomasa hasta un intervalo de temperaturas de entre aproximadamente 180°C y 235°C donde se mantiene durante 1 a 12 minutos antes de reducir la presión en el recipiente. En modalidades particularmente preferidas, el contenido de humedad es inferior al 15%, el intervalo de temperaturas es de 190°C a 215°C y el tiempo de residencia es de 2 a 8 minutos.
