Abstract
De acuerdo con un primer aspecto de la invención, un sintetizador de señales de audio genera una señal de audio de síntesis con una primera banda de frecuencia y una segunda banda de frecuencia sintetizada derivada de la primera banda de frecuencia. El sintetizador de señales de audio comprende un generador de interconexión, un conversor espectral, un procesador de señales no procesadas y un combinador. El generador de parche ("patching) lleva a cabo al menos dos algoritmos de parche ("patching) diferentes, donde cada algoritmo de parche (''patching) genera una señal no procesada con componentes de señal en la segunda banda de frecuencia sintetizada utilizando una señal de audio con componentes de señal en la primera banda de frecuencia. El generador de parche ("patching) está adaptado para seleccionar uno de los al menos dos algoritmos de parche ("patching) diferentes en respuesta a una información de control para una primera parte de tiempo y otro de los al menos dos algoritmos de parche (''patching) diferentes en respuesta a la información de control para una segunda parte de tiempo que se diferencia de a primera parte de tiempo con el fin de obtener la señal no procesada para la primera parte de tiempo y la segunda parte de tiempo.
