Abstract

La presente invención revela un método (310, 330, 350, 370) para la gestión de la demanda de carga eléctrica y un aparato (104) y sistema (100) asociados. El método (310, 330, 350, 370) incluye el suministro (336, 318) a un consumidor de electricidad de la indicación de consumo instantáneo de la electricidad. El método (310, 330, 350, 370) además incluye la determinación (382) de un umbral de consumo de electricidad para el consumidor, como respuesta a una determinación del límite de carga que se requiere y el suministro (384, 356, 338, 320, 322) al consumidor de la indicación del umbral de consumo de electricidad, y un indicador de un periodo de tiempo dentro del cual el consumidor debe limitar su consumo de electricidad para cumplir con el umbral de consumo de electricidad. El método (310, 330, 350, 370) también incluye la interrupción (360, 340, 342, 324) del suministro de electricidad al consumidor como respuesta al consumo de electricidad de aquel consumidor que viola el umbral del consumo de electricidad después de que ha expirado el periodo de tiempo.
