Abstract

1.- Una composición farmacéutica bioadhesiva que comprende un agente tratante iónico y un polímero iónico, en donde el polímero es suficientemente ionizado para suministrar un ión con el agente tratamiento para posibilitarle a la composición liberar el agente tratante de una manera controlada durante un periodo extendido de tiempo, y en donde la composición no requiere un sistema de emulsión para administrar el agente tratante.2.- La composición de la reivindicación 1, en donde el polímero es aniónico.3.- La composición de la reivindicación 1, en donde el polímero es catiónico, y la composición además incluyeun agente bioadhesivo.4.- La composición de la reivindicación 2, en donde el agente tratante es aniónico, y la composición además comprende un agente complejante catiónico que forma un complejo con el agente tratante, cuyo complejo se une al polímero aniónico.5.- La composición de la reivindicación 4, en donde el polímero es suficientemente ionizado para unirse con el complejo de agente tratante así corno también suministrar bioadhesión de la composición.6.- La composición de la reivindicación 2, en donde el polímero es suficientemente ionizado para suministrar bioadhesión.7.- La composición de la reivindicación 6, en donde el polímero es un polímero de ácido policarboxílico reticulado bioadhesivo, inchable con agua, pero insoluble en agua.8.- La composición de la reivindicación 7, en donde el polímero comprende policarbofilo.9.- La composición de la reivindicación 1, en donde el agente tratante es liberado durante un periodo de al menos aproximadamente 6 horas.10.- La composición de la reivindicación 2, en donde el agente tratante es liberado durante un periodo de al menos 12 horas.
