Abstract

1.- Un proceso para la regeneración de un catalizador de alquilación ácido sólido en un proceso de alquilación por destilación reactivo que tiene lugar en una columna de destilación presurizada que incluye una zona catalizadora reactiva intermedia que tiene soportado allí un catalizador de alquilación de ácido sólido, una primera zona de rectificación en la parte superior de la columna de destilación y una segunda zona de rectificación que incluye un rehervidor por debajo de dicha zona catalizadora reactiva, en donde por lo menos una porción de un material de alimentación que contiene olefina es llevado en contacto con por lo menos una porción de un material de alimentación de hidrocarburo aromático en flujo de contracorriente dentro de la zona catalizadora reactiva, en donde la presión interna en la zona catalizadora reactiva esmantenida por encima de una atmósfera y la temperatura mantenida a reflujo de dicho material de alimentación de hidrocarburo aromático comprende:A. cesación periódica de la introducción en la columna de destilación del material de alimentación que contiene olefina mientras se continúa el flujo del material de alimentación de hidrocarburo aromático y se introduce dentro de la columna una cantidad efectiva de un material de alimentación de parafina en un punto tal que el material de alimentación de parafina se inter-mezcle en flujo a contracorriente con el material de alimentación de hidrocarburo aromático no reaccionado en reflujo a medida que este fluye a través de catalizador para remover los productos intermedios del catalizador; B. ajustar la rata de reflujo de dicho hidrocarburo aromático para lograr una temperatura deseada en la zona de reacción de catalizador por encima de cerca de 175° C a presión de operación de columna dentro del rango entre cerca de 125 a 370 psig.
