Abstract

La invención tiene por objeto un procedimiento de fusión y de afinado de materiales vitrificables, tal que toda o parte de la energía térmica necesaria para la fusión de los citados materiales vitrificables se aporta por la combustión de combustible (s) fósil (es) con al menos un gas comburente, el (los) citado (s) combustibles/gases o los productos gaseosos resultantes de la combustión que son inyectados bajo el nivel de la masa de los materiales vitrificables (7). El afinado de los materiales vitrificables luego de la fusión se realiza al menos en parte bajo forma de "capa delgada".
