Abstract

Una composición que comprende una dispersión acuosa formada por(a) un primer polímero soluble en agua o que se dilata en agua catiónico formado por unidades recurrentes catiónicas y unidades recurrentes aniónicas; y (b) al menos un segundo polímero soluble en agua diferentes de dicho primer polímero, donde las cantidades de dicho (a) y dicho (b) son tales que se obtiene una composición homogénea ante la ausencia de dicho (b).Un proceso para preparar una dispersión acuosa que contiene un primer polímero disperso soluble en agua o que se dilata en agua, dicho proceso comprende:(1) entremezclar (a) monómero de agregado de vinilo catiónico del 1% al 99.9%, monómero de agregado de vinilo aniónico del 0.01% a 49.9%, y, opcionalmente, monómero no- iónico, por mol basado en las moles totales de monómeros, con(b) del 5% a 100%, por peso basado en el peso de dichos monómeros, de un segundo polímero soluble en agua creador de dispersión, diferente de dicho primer polímero, y(c) un iniciador térmico o redox, y (2) copolimerizar los monómeros para formar dicho primer polímero soluble en agua.
