Abstract
Un sistema para desaguar un tanque de almacenamiento de líquidos, que está dirigido para promover la remoción, desde el interior del tanque de almacenamiento, de la fase más densa que se deposita en la parte inferior del tanque por debajo de una fase menos densa que no va a ser desaguada, caracterizado porque es operado automáticamente y comprende los siguientes componentes: a) un dispositivo de desagüe que se va a ajustar en el nivel más bajo del tanque de almacenamiento de líquidos, el dispositivo de desagüe comprende un cuerpo cóncavo que termina en un asiento, un flotador de zona interfacial que se hunde en la fase menos densa y flota sobre la fase más densa y previene así la formación de un vértice cuando la fase más densa está siendo desaguada, medios accionados por el flotador para obturar el asiento, y medios de retén que limitan el viaje de flotador de zona interfacial dentro del dispositivo de desagüe, pero permite el paso de líquidos; b) una línea de desagüe que conecta el asiento del dispositivo de desagüe a una caja de desagüe que se conecta a la línea de desagüe; c) una válvula de cierre ajustada en la línea de desagüe y que tiene un accionador que está dirigido a controlar 25 el flujo de líquido que pasa a la caja de desagüe; d) una línea de igualación de presión que conecta el cuerpo cóncavo de dispositivo de desagüe a la caja de desagüe; e) una válvula de igualación de presión en la línea de igualación de presión, la válvula de igualación de presión tiene un accionador y funciona para promover la igualación de las presiones por debajo y por arriba del flotador de zona interfacial después de que los medios de obturación se han asentado sobre el asiento del dispositivo de desagüe; y f) un detector que se va a ajustar sobre la pared lateral del tanque de almacenamiento.
